Starting therapy can feel like a big step my approach is all about making the process feel comfortable, supportive, and down-to-earth—like a real conversation, not a clinical checklist. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, going through a big life change, or just feeling stuck, we’ll figure things out together at your pace. I bring a warm, relaxed, and non-judgmental energy to every session, and my goal is to create a space where you can be your full self—laugh, cry, vent, reflect, explore… whatever you need, it's all welcome. I've had the privilege of working with kids, teens, and adults, and I understand that each stage of life comes with its own ups, downs, and curveballs. No matter where you are on your journey, we’ll start there—no pressure, no pretense. Just real talk and real support.

I approach our first session with wanting to know what prompted you to book the session. This is because people usually book a therapy session with an issue in mind, or with a problem to solve. I assure you that if you are motivated to change your mindset and ready to work on yourself, that you will be able to feel more peaceful and calm with just one session, and you will leave knowing that you will be able to solve what is going on. We tend to be harsh and critical of ourselves thinking that will promote change when that only causes us to procrastinate and feel depression and anxiety. To address this I offer you my book endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama on self-forgiveness- find it on Amazon and in Barnes & Noble, "The Chiron Effect: Healing Our Core Wounds through Astrology, Empathy, and Self-Forgiveness." I offer you my podcast- "All Things Therapy," which can be found on iTunes and Spotify. It is a mental health and wellness-focused podcast with over 425 episodes related to mental health, fitness, and personal transformation for you to dig into. I intend that the show augments therapy and gives you a resource to look for topics you are facing in the show titles and then listen and apply what is offered and see how that changes things for you.

Hi there! My name is Chelsea and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. In the past, I've had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients of all ages and backgrounds. I believe my communication style is calm and gentle, while still being direct. I do my best to provide a nonjudgmental space wherein the clients I work with can feel comfortable sharing their concerns. I will also challenge clients when appropriate, to allow them to develop insight into ways they can change their thoughts or behaviors in a way that would be helpful for them. My goal is to empower clients to reach their goals, so they can learn tools and techniques to help them better build upon their strengths and manage mental health symptoms. Eventually, my hope is for all of my clients to feel they are in a place where they can manage symptoms and life stressors on their own, through utilizing the skills they've learned throughout therapy. But until that time, I aim to help my clients learn how to change maladaptive patterns of behavior, and learn ways of helping their selves manage the challenges they are facing.

I support individuals navigating life transitions, aid in deepening self-awareness, develop healthier patterns, and move forward with improved clarity and confidence. Collaboratively we will explore how past experiences, particularly from childhood, continue to shape thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and impact relationships. Together, we gently uncover and make sense of suppressed or unprocessed experiences, gaining insight into how early experiences continue to influence your present-day circumstances. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, and patterns of avoidance or coping that no longer serve them. I also work with clients seeking to reduce or change substance use when it has become a way of managing unresolved experiences. I have extensive experience supporting individuals with complex trauma, including childhood neglect, attachment wounds, and foster care experiences. My trauma-informed, psychodynamic approach integrates insight-oriented exploration with CBT to enhance self-understanding, emotional regulation, and lasting, meaningful change. I am currently accepting private-pay clients at $200 per session. My practice is full at the moment, but I am happy to add you to my waiting list. My goal in my counseling is to help my clients live deeply fulfilling lives. I help clients increase their psychological flexibility through various tools and approaches including evidence-based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to change their thought patterns. I use experiential approaches including Hypnotherapy to work with subconscious minds and remove blocks that are deep in their psyche. I also provide mindfulness training, which is one of the key techniques for the clients to be more present and accepting in their lives, rather than react reflexively. Each individual's struggles are complex and tied to many factors including their social environment, their physical health, the phases of their lives, skills they already possess, etc. In other words, change can happen in a variety of ways and that's what counseling can help with, pointing out the direction and even the next steps that can help the client to get to their goals and intentions. I work with clients experiencing sleep disorders, chronic pain, anxiety, mood issues, ADHD, career counseling, and those who simply need a tune-up.

I view therapy as an interactive self-discovery process and our therapy relationship is central to successful changes. My approach is to engage you in the here and now and help you focus on your experience and to identify and act on your choices. That means not focusing on what you "should" do but rather on what you want, need, and can do, given your particular life situation. My interactions with you are directed towards assisting you to be fully alive, vibrant, coherent, and clear in relationships. I assist you becoming aware of your internal processes (thinking, feeling, sensory), as well as your experience of the world around you. I will suggest experimenting with new behaviors and ways of being in the world. I will provide support and guidance for you to feel safe as you face and confront unresolved painful issues.

Hi! I'm Lesly. I’m a first-generation Latina LCSW and I help people who feel tired of being the “strong one,” overwhelmed by overthinking, or stuck between family expectations, culture, and who they want to be. Many of my clients come in feeling unseen, burnt out, or weighed down by old wounds that keep resurfacing. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone and you’re in the right place. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and specialize in supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and identity challenges. My goal is to offer a warm, affirming space where your story matters and your healing feels possible :)

You may be on the right path, but stumbled, fell, or got lost along the way. Or you may be struggling to find the path. I want to help. In therapy, I aim to create a calm, sturdy, emotionally open, and radically nonjudgmental space where you can be deeply curious about your own experience. A patient, open-ended space where you can take your time. A space where you can slow down, breathe, reflect, be quiet or silent. A space where you can be loud, angry, triggered, upset. A space where you don't have to make sense, but we can try to make sense of things together. A space where we both can be genuinely curious about who you are.
