I take a strength based approach to therapy, focusing on the strengths, values, and resilience you already have rather than only on problems. Together, we build on what is working to help you navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. This approach supports growth that feels both practical and personally aligned with who you are and your goals.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a relaxed, low-pressure way. I’ll ask some questions to understand what’s bringing you in, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’re hoping will be different moving forward. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, and there’s no expectation to have everything figured out. My focus is on creating a space where you feel heard, understood, and respected. We’ll begin identifying what matters most to you and start making sense of your experiences together, while also talking about what you want out of therapy and how we can move in that direction.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is grounded in helping you feel genuinely understood while also giving you practical ways to move forward. I focus on identifying the deeper patterns behind what you’re experiencing, so we’re not just managing symptoms but actually addressing what’s driving them. Clients often appreciate that I balance insight with action. We don’t just talk about what’s wrong—we work toward clear, meaningful change in how you think, respond, and navigate relationships. I also take a strength-based approach, helping you recognize and build on what’s already working in your life, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals who want thoughtful, practical help navigating life challenges while also gaining deeper insight into themselves. Many of my clients are working through concerns such as anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or patterns that leave them feeling stuck or overwhelmed. They are typically people who are open to reflection, interested in understanding their thoughts and behaviors, and motivated to develop healthier ways of responding to challenges so they can experience greater clarity, stability, and growth in their lives.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

I take a strength based approach to therapy, which means we focus on the strengths, values, and resilience you already have rather than only focusing on problems. Together, we use those strengths as a foundation to help you navigate challenges, improve relationships, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.

Christian Counseling

Christian counseling is available as an optional part of therapy for clients who would like to incorporate their faith into the counseling process. When requested, we can explore personal challenges through both psychological principles and a Christian perspective, integrating faith, values, and spiritual reflection as part of the work together.
