I’ve studied and practiced many methods. I like to be eclectic and work with you with what’s needed to get you back on track and feeling your best. I was a teacher for many years, then went for my masters in social work. Life has many twists and turns. Sometimes we can feel off balance or are suffering from depression or anxiety. We’ve all had our ups and downs and getting back on track and feeling our best is a goal I enjoy helping people achieve to live the life they want. Are your coping skills no longer working? Do you need new ones? Maybe you have some unprocessed traumas that need to be processed so that you can move forward.

My preference is speaking in terms that are comfortable for everyone including myself. I can be direct with a sprinkling of humor and an abundance of empathy. Attachment injuries in childhood lead to adult attachment styles, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma and all of their close friends. Working with these issues is my passion. I love working with children and foster children. Second career leads itself to years of life experience and knowledge. The relationship and trust is what is important to me for your (and my) journey. I learn from you and your experiences and welcome all thoughts and ideas.

Hello, my name is Megan. I appreciate you taking the leap to want to do something different in your life. I know how hard talking about some of these big life issues can be like the death of our person, living through the struggle of infertility and acknowledging the weight of our anxiety is too much. Sometimes, we are stuck in our loop and yet, we do not have the perspective how to shift the big feelings to make you start to feel better. In the beginning of working together, I want you to feel comfortable sharing your story. Everyone arrives wanting a witness to their grieving at different stages of their process. Your relationship is to different each person had a different relationship to their person. I believe the importance of listening to what is said in the room or what is not said. Many times we are not able to verbalize our pain of trying to live without our person. I think a very necessary part to our healing is to be witnessed by another. My goal is to always create safety in the room. I am a fairly transparent therapist sharing sometimes my personal journey to connect and help clients realize they are not alone in their pain. I look forward to joining you in your healing journey.

Many appear successful on paper yet feel disconnected, anxious, or unfulfilled inside. My work focuses on rebuilding intimacy, confidence, and freedom that lasts. I am a straight-forward but empathic therapist, who also appreciates the same from her clients. I also believe in the social work mission of starting where the client is, so sessions are based upon that analogy. I have experience in many areas, including hospital, foster care, group homes, forensics, Veterans, home health, etc. I received my Masters of Social Science Administration from Case Western Reserve Univerity, and my Doctorate of Psychology from California Southern University. Therapy for High-Functioning Adults Navigating ADHD, Trauma, Anxiety, and Relationship Distress You may appear capable, accomplished, and composed while privately feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unable to quiet your mind. Perhaps you are successful in many areas of life but struggle with anxiety, ADHD-related difficulties, trauma responses, relationship conflict, or a persistent sense that you are not functioning as well as others believe. I work with high-functioning adults and couples who are insightful and motivated but continue to feel stuck in patterns they cannot simply think their way out of. You may understand why you react the way you do and still find yourself becoming anxious, shutting down, overthinking, procrastinating, losing focus, becoming emotionally flooded, or repeating the same painful relationship dynamics. Who I Help I work with adults experiencing: ADHD, executive-functioning difficulties, procrastination, and emotional overwhelm Anxiety, perfectionism, overthinking, and chronic self-pressure PTSD, developmental trauma, and unresolved childhood experiences Relationship anxiety, attachment wounds, and fear of abandonment Emotional disconnection, burnout, and difficulty identifying personal needs Family expectations, cultural pressures, and people-pleasing Major life, career, or identity transitions I also work with couples who may care deeply for one another but feel caught in recurring cycles of conflict, defensiveness, withdrawal, resentment, or emotional distance. Couples therapy can help you understand the pattern underneath the argument, communicate more safely, and rebuild trust and emotional connection.

I work best with adults ready for focused, engaged therapy and interested in building greater stability, clarity, and confidence. My approach is structured, collaborative, and active. I'm a psychoanalyst, not a generalist talk therapist. That distinction matters, especially because "psychoanalysis" gets used loosely to describe all kinds of depth-oriented work — Jungian, relational, psychodynamic — and these approaches, while related, aren't the same as what I do. I work specifically within a Lacanian framework. Where Jungian analysis tends to orient around archetypes and the collective unconscious, and relational/psychodynamic approaches often emphasize the therapeutic relationship itself as the primary vehicle of change, Lacanian work stays close to language: what you actually say, how you say it, where you stumble, repeat, or contradict yourself. The unconscious, in this view, isn't a symbolic underworld to be mapped; it's structured like a language, and it shows up in the gaps, slips, and inconsistencies of your own speech. My job isn't to interpret you from the outside or to be a warm, steady presence that helps you feel supported (though I'm very present and attentive to what you say). It's by listening very closely to what you say — and how you say it — that patterns you can't currently see start to become audible to you. This also means the frame looks different than typical talk therapy. Sessions can be variable in length rather than a fixed 45 to 60 minutes, because meaningful moments don't always arrive on a schedule. Over time, and only when it makes sense, we may move toward more frequent sessions and away from face-to-face format, using the couch — not as a gimmick, but because many people find they speak more freely without the pull to read my reactions. This work is slower and less directive than most therapy people have tried. It's not for everyone, and it's not designed as such. It's for people who've done other kinds and want to go further.

I saw my first client in 2012 and have worked in a variety of settings since then: on site elementary and middle schools, private practice, EAP, intensive outpatient programs, and residential treatment.

My name is Ryan, and I am a gay mixed-race man and a San Francisco Bay Area native. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, but I also recognize moments where I need solitude to reconnect with myself. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and have a specialty in sex therapy. I enjoy practicing as a sex therapist to help clients become empowered sexual beings.

Welcome. My name is Tannaz Talasazan, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I invite you into a supportive, collaborative space where feelings are processed, thoughts are heard, perspectives are respected, and meaningful change becomes possible. Life can present challenges that feel overwhelming, especially when we don’t always have the tools to navigate them. Reaching out for therapy is a powerful first step. Together, we will identify emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and internal obstacles that may be holding you back, while working toward insight, clarity, and lasting change. Over the past 13 years of training and clinical experience, I have worked with individuals, couples, women, families, adolescents, adults, and older adults, with a focus on relationship concerns, life transitions, conflict resolution, and crisis management. I especially enjoy supporting couples in strengthening communication and connection, helping women and individuals navigate personal growth and identity, and working with older adults as they process life transitions, relationships, and meaning. My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from Family Systems, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused, and Narrative therapies, carefully matching each approach to support insight, emotional growth, and practical change.
