I am a dedicated therapist with over a decade of experience helping clients navigate emotional challenges and create meaningful change in their lives. Since 2010, I have been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to support individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, and emotional regulation. My goal is to empower clients by providing practical tools and strategies that promote resilience, emotional balance, and personal growth, helping them build fulfilling and healthier lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session with me, we’ll have a friendly and open conversation about your challenges and goals. I’ll ask a lot of questions to better understand your unique story and experiences, so we can create a plan that works for you. My focus is on making you feel heard, respected, and supported as we begin working together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a provider is my ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and create a safe, supportive space for them to explore their challenges. What makes me unique is my life experience as a first-generation immigrant, which has given me a deep understanding of the struggles faced by minorities, especially those navigating multiple cultural worlds.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I have been working with children, youth, parents, and individuals from underserved communities who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or uncertain about how to navigate life’s challenges. Many of my clients struggle with emotional regulation, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. My life experience as a first-generation immigrant in the U.S. has given me an appreciation for the problems of minorities, allowing me to approach my work with deeper empathy and understanding. I help clients build confidence, develop coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) since 2010 to help clients with depression and anxiety by identifying negative thought patterns and developing healthier coping strategies. I incorporate techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and mindfulness to empower clients in managing their symptoms. Through a structured, goal-oriented approach, I support clients in building resilience and applying CBT skills in their daily lives.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have been using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) since 2010 to help clients who struggle with emotional regulation. In my practice, I integrate core DBT skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness to support clients in managing intense emotions and improving relationships. By providing a structured and skills-based approach, I help clients develop greater emotional balance and resilience in their daily lives.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have been using Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) since 2010 to help clients dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship issues, and life transitions. In my practice, I focus on clients’ strengths, resources, and past successes to create practical solutions and foster positive change. By emphasizing goal-setting and small, meaningful steps, I empower clients to build confidence and move forward with resilience.
