When it comes to the therapeutic experience, my treatment motto is “therapy is a collaborative journey.” In treatment, the client or the patient sets the pace for treatment. As a clinician, we are trained to meet our patienst and clients where they are, currently, and provide services as appropriate. I always use this analogy when introducing how treatment will proceed to clients. I explain to clients that the therapeutic journey is like a road trip. They are in the driver's seat. They are setting the pace. They are deciding the route and the destination. All I do, as their therapist, is hold the GPS, suggest alternative routes when needed, and set the music.
Hello! I'm Heidi and I have been a therapist for 32 years now. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have found this career in counseling and mental health because I love this work. That I get to help others along the way, is an absolute bonus! For much of my career I have been working with clients suffering from chronic mental illness. But I also have over 10 years of experience running a highly successful private practice as well. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the LGBTQ community, sexual abuse survivors, folks with dissociative identity disorder and clients who struggle with depression and personality disorders.
My Approach is non judge mental and client centered. I am passionate about helping others grow through mental health and realize that life can be challenging and creating change can be difficult. I have been providing individuals with mental health treatment for 10 years and find my clinical strength is with individuals who struggle with thinking patterns, anxiety, depression, anger, parenting, and marriage discourse. I focus a lot on thinking patterns, emotions, behaviors and their connections as well as building insight and awareness into thoughts and behaviors that create barriers in life or sustain challenges. I utilize CBT, DBT, EFT, SF, and Narrative therapy for the most part and also focus on the nervous system/polyvagal to assist with calming the body and rewiring what it has learned through distress. My objective is to create an atmosphere of acceptance, understanding, and to allow clients to feel safe while processing their thoughts and feelings while gently providing psycho education and techniques to assist.
My goal is to help you break free from the cycle of stress and anxiety through practical techniques and personalized strategies for growth. With a background in mindfulness, meditation, and psychedelic-assisted therapy, I take a holistic approach to therapy. Together we'll create a comfortable space where you can explore your challenges, gain perspective, and deepen your emotional awareness without feeling judged.

I also work with adults experiencing a range of mental health disorders, offering a supportive space for emotional exploration, healing, and personal growth.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Georgia. I received my Masters from the Western Michigan University and have been practicing for 16 years.
Life is full of changes and ups & downs. Sometimes you may need help dealing with all these changes. I am so glad you realize you don't have to manage all these change on your own. My name is Judy Jordan and I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist with over 20 years years of professional experience in counseling with children,, adults, and families. I took an evening course in Psychology 5 when starting school, and by the end of it , I knew I wanted to become a therapist. I was drawn to understanding people on a deeper level and helping them through their struggles. With support from my dad, I left my job and went back to school starting from scratch. I loved every minute of learning and felt more certain with each class that I was on the right path. My dedication paid off...I earned straight A's and received the Academic Achievement Award in Psychology. More importantly I found a sense of purpose in supporting others on their mental health journeys.
My passion is people and I am most curious about what makes us who we are. I have been in the field of mental health for 20 years and I have worked with an array of clients. The most effective work comes from those clients that are not afraid to be vulnerable, to self reflect and to do the work.
I've spent the last 15 years working as a marriage and family therapist, helping clients create lasting, positive change. I draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Solution-Focused Brief Treatment (SFBT), blending the two into an evidence-based approach shaped around each client's needs. My work centers on building emotional resilience, strengthening communication, and helping people forge deeper connections — with others and with themselves. I love walking alongside clients as they work toward their goals and build a life that feels genuinely fulfilling.

Whether you are navigating a major life transition, experiencing relationship difficulties, seeking greater self-understanding, or simply looking for a safe space to process your experiences, therapy can provide an opportunity to gain insight and perspective. My approach is direct yet empathic, collaborative, and solution-focused, while remaining grounded in genuine compassion and practical feedback. Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing, identify patterns that may be holding you back, build upon your strengths, and work toward meaningful, positive, and lasting change. Love and work are essential to a meaningful life. Relationships with others define experience and work gives a sense of purpose. Disturbance in these affect well being and contribute to an overwhelmed response leading to collapse. As trauma is relational so is recovery and healing. Having the right therapeutic alliance is a key element and requires, attunement and constistency.
