My approach draws on Jungian thinking, which revolves on one central idea: much of what we think and feel remains outside of our awareness. Sometimes we keep powerful feelings hidden so we can continue moving through the day, or we simply cannot find time to reflect on everything that is happening to us. In any case, keeping these potent experiences hidden may leave us feeling stiff, dreary, unfulfilled, or even numb and dull. I offer emotional attunement and embodied wisdom. Clients come away from sessions with self-trust, and more secure boundary-wise self-care. Jungian therapist wouldn't treat these as a checklist to march through — more like threads to follow wherever they lead, since the goal is less "fixing a pattern" and more understanding what the pattern is for, psychically.

“In a world full of pressure to be anything but yourself, be a sunflower 🌻—rooted in who you are and always reaching toward the light.” — Lauresha Z. Hawkins, LCSW, MSW, MPH Hello! I’m Lauresha Hawkins, LCSW, MSW, MPH, Founder/CEO and Clinical Director of Mental Wellness University, Licensed Clinical Social Worker Inc. I am licensed to provide therapy in California and Alaska and serve as an independent provider with Grow Therapy. I support youth, Transitional Age Youth (TAY), adults, mature adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, substance use concerns, perinatal mental health, family conflict, sports performance, and major life transitions, including the transition from high school to college. Trust, authenticity, mutual respect, and rapport are central to my work. My approach is eclectic, trauma-informed, collaborative, and individualized because therapy is never one-size-fits-all. I believe treatment should reflect who you are, what you have experienced, what you value, and what you hope to change. I bring more than 15 years of social work experience, including eight years providing mental health services as an associate and licensed clinician. My background includes residential treatment, outpatient care, managed care, foster care systems, and psychiatric hospitals. My communication style is warm, genuine, adaptable, direct, and grounded in active listening, honesty, accountability, and humor when appropriate. I am passionate about serving vulnerable and historically underserved communities, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals, student-athletes, and those navigating co-occurring conditions. Although I value my role as an educator, I also remain a lifelong student. I believe every person who crosses my path has something to teach me. Together, we will create a space where you can feel seen, heard, respected, supported, and safely challenged as you continue growing into who you are. www.mentalwellnessuniversityinc.com

If you are a client of Kaiser Permanente, it is necessary to obtain a referral from Kaiser before proceeding. Once you have received the referral, Kaiser will provide you with a link to schedule a session with me. I specialize in helping individuals as they navigate grief, anxiety, depression, anger, relationship challenges, and behavioral concerns. I understand that these struggles are not just diagnoses—they are lived experiences that can quietly shape how you see yourself, how you connect with others, and how you move through your day. Anxiety can feel like a constant hum in the background—keeping you on edge, overthinking, and emotionally worn down. Many people carry it for years without realizing how much it’s impacting their relationships and sense of peace. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to keep managing it by yourself. Depression is often misunderstood because it doesn’t always look like sadness. Sometimes it feels like exhaustion, numbness, irritability, or simply going through the motions without feeling connected to your life. It can make even the smallest tasks feel heavy. But depression is treatable, and with the right support, it is possible to feel like yourself again. In our work together, I offer a space where you can be seen, heard, and understood—without judgment. My goal is not only to help you cope, but to help you reconnect with yourself, find clarity in what you’re feeling, and build a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and yours.

Welcome, and congratulations on starting your healing journey! Our sessions together will provide a warm, welcoming, and self-paced therapeutic environment to help you feel safe and supported while processing where you’ve been, and creating a clear vision for where you’re going. In our work together, we’ll utilize a variety of simple and accessible techniques catering to your needs for self-improvement, some of which may include changing problematic thoughts and behaviors, increasing acceptance and awareness toward self, building up your resiliency "tool box" to navigate complex emotions, and addressing any internal or relational roadblocks. I work with patients looking for support with stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, inattention, life transitions, and relationship issues. I have dedicated my clinical work to supporting people to believe that they have innate wisdom and internal resources to support themselves toward healing. I believe healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and accepted. My role is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself, explore what you are going through, and move at a pace that feels right for you. My own life experiences, combined with my education and professional work in social work and mental health, have taught me the importance of meeting each person as an individual. I bring empathy, curiosity, and authenticity to my work, and I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. I work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, ages, and life experiences, including those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, major life transitions, and relationship or identity-related challenges. I draw on evidence-informed approaches and adapt my work to each person's needs, rather than believing that one approach fits everyone. Having lived in different countries and being fluent in English, Farsi, and German, I understand how culture, migration, identity, and life experiences can shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us. Most importantly, I see therapy as a collaborative process. You bring your story and your experience; I bring my professional knowledge, experience, and genuine commitment to supporting you. Together, we can work toward greater understanding, healing, and a life that feels more meaningful to you.

I’ve studied and practiced many methods. I like to be eclectic and work with you with what’s needed to get you back on track and feeling your best. I was a teacher for many years, then went for my masters in social work. Life has many twists and turns. Sometimes we can feel off balance or are suffering from depression or anxiety. We’ve all had our ups and downs and getting back on track and feeling our best is a goal I enjoy helping people achieve to live the life they want. Are your coping skills no longer working? Are you tired of being the emotional project manager in your relationships? Do you stay calm on the outside while mentally writing resignation letters from your relationships? **Could you BE any more overwhelmed? (Chandler’s voice)** Well, hello—I’m really glad you’re here. If you’re someone who looks capable on the outside but feels stretched thin, overwhelmed, or quietly exhausted on the inside, you’re in the right place. I’m Katrina, a Christian therapist who works with high-achieving individuals navigating relationship shifts, workplace stress, and the pressure of holding it all together. My work blends evidence-based approaches like Compassion-Focused Therapy and CBT with faith-centered values  and scripture references, creating a space where you don’t have to choose between emotional healing and your beliefs. And yes, I believe therapy can be meaningful without feeling painfully serious all the time. If you appreciate a well-timed *Friends*, *The Office*, *Parks and Recreation*, or *Brooklyn Nine-Nine* reference, we’ll probably get along just fine. Sometimes humor helps us feel human, breathe a little deeper, and make space for the harder conversations. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you. It’s about helping you slow down, untangle the mental noise, and reconnect with who you are beneath all the expectations and responsibilities. This is a place where you can stop performing, be honest, laugh when you need to, and feel supported as you move toward clarity, peace, and purpose. If you’re looking for a therapist who understands both your ambition and your faith—and who won’t mind the occasional pop-culture reference—I’d love to walk alongside you. Let’s turn survival mode into sustainable growth and help you feel grounded, confident, and hopeful again. Schedule an appointment today, and let’s take the next step together.

I often work with individuals experiencing burnout, major life transitions, relationship stress, work-related stress, and patterns of overthinking that can make daily life feel overwhelming. My goal is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly and begin making meaningful changes. I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to each person’s unique needs. Together, we will explore patterns, thoughts, and experiences that may be contributing to anxiety, stress, or low mood while also developing practical tools to help you cope more effectively. My approach is compassionate and grounded in evidence-based practices.

I’m a 30 yr old who loves staying active...whether that’s going on runs, getting outside for hikes, or spending time at home with my cat. I love to be someone who can motivate others and serve as a strong, steady anchor during difficult times. I bring that same grounded, real-life energy into my work, creating a space that feels comfortable, supportive, and easy to show up in. Through my own life experiences, I’ve learned how to cope with challenging transitions and navigate relationship struggles, which allows me to show up in a genuine and grounded way with my clients. I’m passionate about helping young women navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, and relationship struggles. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start, just showing up is enough. Together, we focus on building self-worth, setting healthy boundaries, and helping you feel more confident, grounded, and aligned in your life and relationships.

I think of therapy as part detective work, part puzzle: laying out the pieces of a life and tracing the threads between things that never seemed connected until you see them side by side. I believe a good clinician is a moldable one, someone who adapts to the person in front of them rather than fitting people into a fixed approach. My work is collaborative, insight-oriented, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on yourself. Together, we explore the patterns, stories, and relational blueprints that shaped how you see yourself and the world, and we work to rewrite the ones that no longer serve you. I work with individuals and couples across the lifespan, and I am proudly affirming of the LGBTQIA+, kink, and BDSM communities. I specialize in trauma, identity, depression, anxiety, relationships, and sexual health, and I bring the same nonjudgmental, culturally humble approach to every client I see. I also offer faith-integrated counseling for those who wish to bring spirituality into their healing. Whether you arrive ready to dive in or full of resistance, I'll meet you where you are. I am bilingual and bicultural, and I welcome clients who move between both languages and worlds.

I offer a space where you can show up exactly as you are. Perhaps in pain, grieving, growing, uncertain, hopeful. I believe healing happens in safe connection, in being witnessed with compassion, and in slowly finding your way back to yourself. My style is warm, grounded, and intuitive. I’m especially passionate about supporting people through trauma, anxiety, relationship pain, motherhood, identity shifts, and seasons of emotional heaviness. Together we make room for both the ache and the healing, with gentleness, honesty, and care.
