New to Grow
I am a compassionate bilingual LCSW therapist who has helped clients navigate anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions with clarity and self-growth. I will create a calm and supportive space where you will feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow as a person. My goal is to help you move forward with resilience and growth. I work with clients to identify the goals that matter most to them and tailor our sessions around their unique needs.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a chance for you to share your story in whatever way feels most natural. I’ll guide the session and take time to understand your concerns, but there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. My focus is on creating a safe space where you can show up as you are and begin exploring what you hope to gain from therapy. In this session I will ask questions about what brings you to therapy and complete an assessment.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is my empathy and ability to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, listened to, and validated. I allow my clients to take the lead in their treatment, respecting their pace and choices throughout the therapeutic process.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone who may be new to therapy or returning after time away, and is seeking a space to heal, grow, and process their life experiences. They don’t have to feel completely ready or have everything figured out they just need to recognize that they could benefit from support. A willingness to show up and be open to the process is enough.
Psychodynamic
I use the psychodynamic approach because it focuses on understanding the deeper emotional and relational patterns that shape a person’s current difficulties. Rather than only treating symptoms, it explores unconscious processes and past experiences to uncover root causes. This helps clients gain insight, improve self-awareness, and create more lasting, meaningful change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use the CBT approach because it focuses on how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. By identifying and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, clients can develop healthier coping strategies and make practical changes in their daily lives. CBT is structured, goal-oriented, and effective in reducing symptoms while building long-term skills for managing difficulties.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use the solution-focused approach because it emphasizes clients’ strengths and existing resources rather than focusing only on problems. It helps clients clarify their goals and identify practical steps toward change by building on what is already working. This approach is future-oriented, empowering, and supports meaningful progress in a relatively short time.
