New to Grow
As a neurodivergent human, I'm intimately aware of the uniquely vast breadth of our difficulties and strengths. I have been working with individuals who have felt trapped by stress and anxiety for the past ten years as an analyst, consultant, yogi, and clinician. Integrating breathing exercises, somatic movement, and psychodynamic therapy into sustainable lifestyle enhancements allows individuals to gain more control of their experience of life. Having trained, taught, and worked in Southeast Asia, I bring a combination of a deep education in Ayurvedic practices through the lens of modern psychology. As a lifelong student, science, research, and data-driven exploration are at the center of my approach to helping expand your agency and expression.
In our first session, I am here to learn about who you are and what you are ready to let go of. I'll invite you into your body with some invitations to explore breathing and collaborate on a structure and style that works for us both. You can expect unbridled curiosity and psychoeducation as we begin connecting the dots on your experience.
Curious, informative, open-minded and strategic, my style is continuously praised for being more science-based and empowering than clients anticipated therapy could be. I have had a higher retention rate than my peers in previous employers, as clients anticipate learning something new in each session.
My ideal client is a neurodivergent (autism, adhd, dyslexia) adult seeking to reduce burnout frequency, better understand themselves or process trauma. Individuals struggling with stress and anxiety who are open to body-mind connection approaches, as well as mindfulness. Existential and Buddhist individuals seeking emotional support in times of strife and confusion. ADHD teens with a history of getting in trouble and struggling to leverage their giftedness in school.
EMDR
We'll collaborate on identifying and strengthening coping skills to support the reprocessing of traumas. EMDR is an evidence-based treatment that follows a strict structure and sequence that uses eye movement to allow the brain the opportunity to reprocess what keeps us stuck and limited. I use an online resource that transforms your laptop screen into an EMDR tool as I guide you through the process. Clients benefit from scheduling multiple EMDR sessions in close proximity to one another to allow for optimal progress.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
As a yoga teacher and meditation facilitator for over ten years, I integrate breathing, somatic, and energetic modalities.
Mind-body approach
Having trained and taught somatics all over the world, I invite you to leverage the mind-body connection through breath, stretches, and mindfulness.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Radical acceptance, mindfulness, and evidence-based ACT structures help us find our way out of that "stuck" feeling and propel us into intentional alignment with our potential.
Existential
Life is layered and infinitely complex. Helping you find meaning in your experiences and purpose in your journey can be overwhelming. Existential therapy is a powerful approach to quieting the noise and finding the flow that brings you in to alignment.
