The first session is an intake assessment, where we review your background, explore current concerns, and collaboratively clarify your goals for treatment to guide a tailored therapeutic plan.
My strengths include a warm and non-judgmental temperament, strong clinical expertise, and a holistic treatment approach that combines mindful listening, cultural sensitivity, and thoughtfully tailored interventions to support meaningful, personalized change.
My clients come from culturally diverse backgrounds and seek support for a range of psychological challenges, including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, grief, chronic illness, and trauma. They are actively engaged in personal development and motivated to build new skills to reach their highest potential. Together, we focus on cultivating resilience, deepening self-awareness, and improving relationships, while developing effective strategies for stress regulation and sustainable habits that support long-term psychological well-being.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I integrate ACT therapy by helping clients cultivate psychological flexibility—learning to accept difficult internal experiences while committing to values-driven actions that support meaningful, long-term change.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate mindfulness practices to strengthen present-moment awareness, reduce reactivity, and support clients in developing a more compassionate and nonjudgmental relationship with their thoughts and emotions.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I integrate IFS by helping clients identify and work with their internal parts, fostering self-leadership and compassion while addressing protective patterns and facilitating healing of wounded aspects of the psyche.
Mind-body approach
I integrate mind-body principles with Ayurvedic lifestyle and dietary guidance, helping clients understand the connection between physiological balance and emotional well-being while supporting regulation through personalized habits, nutrition, and daily routines.
Jungian
I incorporate Jungian approaches through dream work and expressive art therapy, using symbolic exploration and creative processes to access unconscious material, deepen self-understanding, and support the process of individuation.
