I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples. My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility. Hello, my name is Ace (they/them or ze/hir pronouns) and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in the intersections of neurodivergence, LGBTQ+ identity, and disability. Have you ever wished you could talk about your concerns without having to give a 101 level lecture first? Are you struggling to find treatment as an Autistic adult or an adult with ADHD? Whether you're undiagnosed, questioning, newly diagnosed, or just looking for some extra support, I'm here to meet you where you're at with tools and strategies that work. I'm a queer, Autistic, non-binary psychologist of color and I've spent the last seven years learning to provide support to members of my communities as they navigate systems of care not built for us. I believe that therapy should be collaborative and consensual, that evidence-based treatment must honor culture and neurotype, and that gender-affirming care is a human right. If you're struggling to build a system of supports and accommodations that will allow you to thrive, if you're questioning your gender or sexuality and need a guide, or if you're just looking for a safer space to process the everyday stresses of your life. You are welcome here.

Welcome, and thank you for looking at my mental health provider profile. I hope we are able to work together in counseling to help you through a difficult time and improve the quality of your life. My education and experience include bachelors (Idaho State University} and master's degrees (University of British Columbia) in Social Work. I am clinically licensed in Washington and Idaho states. My background is in physical and mental health with internships in Hospice, and inpatient psychiatric hospital for severely mentally ill, and in end-of-life AIDS care. My employment has included hospital social work, emergency department social work, mental health and suicide assessments and safety planning including hospitalization, if necessary, trauma (physical and emotional), and grief and end-of-life counseling. I also did several years of private mental health practice with individuals, couples and children. Most recently I worked with high-risk adolescent youth who failed foster care and were placed by the State in residential care. I am unmarried with very close children and grandchildren. I have 3 dogs and a couple of mice-cats, and chickens for their eggs. I grew up in a military (US Marine Corp) family in California and on the east coast, eventually settling back in California. I left California for college and university then settled in rural Washington State. I enjoy the company and consultation of my sisters who are a clinical social worker and a registered nurse. I enjoy home improvement projects, training my dogs, attempts at vegetable gardening with limited success, family gatherings playing with grandchildren and grand nieces and nephews, exploring historical and cultural connections from the Appalachian Mountains, and reading books and watching movies, especially historical fiction. One of my favorite things that sustain my emotional well-being is to laugh and have fun with the people I love.

Hello! I'm John, a compassionate and grounded therapist. I practice psychodynamic therapy, drawing on narrative, somatic, and EMDR approaches to meet you where you are and tailor sessions to your needs. I spent the last five years working with teens, young adults, and parents at a local community health organization, and I'm excited to bring that experience to Grow Therapy. I see change as a marathon, not a sprint. We'll start by focusing on immediate symptom reduction — helping you move out of constant fight-or-flight reactions. Once you're not in that reactive state so often, we can work toward deeper, lasting change. It took years for you to get where you are, so established patterns won't shift overnight. Part of our work together will be helping you build compassion for yourself along the way. You're human, and you won't be perfect. Real change happens when you make the same old mistake, remember you're on a healing journey, extend yourself some grace, do the necessary repair work, and try again. I especially love working with parents at every stage of life. Parenting is a hard job — nobody can push our buttons quite like our own kids. As a parent myself, I understand how difficult it can be to stay grounded and offer loving, consistent boundaries when our kids — whether babies, toddlers, teens, or adults — are testing us. My approach is tailored to your needs: I use somatic tools to help your body learn what calm and safety feel like, cognitive tools to help shift how you think about and approach situations, and pattern-recognition work to help you identify habits formed early in life — so you can notice your reactions in the moment and choose to respond differently.

Born and raised in the inner city by a single mother and a large extended family, I noticed the needs of those that were mentally or physically diagnosed were often not met. Therefore, I began to inquire about what I needed to do in order to be a part of the solution. I began to work in the field and I have worked in Behavioral/Mental Health for close to 20 years. My experience covers a plethora of ages and diagnosis across many settings. My determination to treat and support those with mental health diagnosis during the pandemic inspired me to perform outpatient therapy via telehealth to adults and adolescents. I specialize in adults 25-55 with various diagnoses but primarily Anxiety, PTSD, trauma and Depression to name a few. I love to utilize CBT, CPT, trauma informed care (TIC) and Motivational Interviewing as treatment modalities.

Many of the individuals and couples I work with are at a crossroads—frustrated, sometimes burnt out, and seeking practical, workable strategies for change. Therapy offers a dedicated, supportive space to identify obstacles and map a path toward meaningful personal growth. With over 15 years of experience across healthcare, restorative justice, and outpatient settings, I provide telehealth therapy at Grow for adults and couples. My practice focuses on: *Chronic Pain & Complex Medical Issues *Anxiety & Phobias *Fertility & Family Building Support *LGBTQ+ & Gender-Affirming Care *Eating Disorder/Substance Use Step-Down Maintenance: Supporting ongoing recovery from substance use or eating disorders following higher levels of care. *Couples Therapy: Improving communication and relational dynamics (clinical outpatient focus only). Practice Boundaries & Administrative Policies To maintain a clear focus on clinical care, please review the following scope boundaries: *Legal & Forensic Services: I do not provide forensic evaluations, court-ordered treatment, litigation support, or expert witness testimony for legal proceedings, divorce, or custody disputes. *Disability & Administrative Paperwork: I do not perform disability evaluations or complete short/long-term disability claims; I do not write Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters. *Telehealth & Medical Requirements: Virtual therapy for chronic pain, ARFID, or medical distress serves strictly as a complementary psychological service. Because virtual care lacks physical monitoring: A. Clients with ARFID or eating disorders must maintain ongoing care with an in-person physician for routine medical safety. B. Clients seeking pain reprocessing or somatic therapy must have their pain evaluated by a physician. ******If medical or psychiatric needs exceed virtual outpatient scope, I will assist with referrals to local in-person providers**************

My name is Janet Muta and I am a Licensed Clinician with over 17 years of experience in mental health, behavioral issues and relationships. I treat individuals from diverse backgrounds. My approach is treating the whole person because most of the time our problems are the outcome of more than just one thing and when I get to know you I am able to address different issues that could be contributing to that one specific problem. We all experience some difficulties in our lives sometimes and we all cope differently. What works for one person/couple who are experiencing a similar situation may not work for another and so I personalize your treatment to fit you. Being in therapy is like being on a journey, I make sure you are in the driver’s seat and I become your great working GPS, guiding you to your desired destination. I also hold a degree in finance which sometimes comes handy when helping those who are stressed due to financial needs. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State with 9 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of challenges. I believe every person has the capacity to create meaningful and lasting change in their life, and that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care. My approach is grounded in meeting clients where they are, without judgment, while creating a space where they can feel heard, understood, and supported. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, difficult life transitions, and grief and loss. I work especially well with clients who are ready to take an honest look at where they are in life and are willing to take steps toward where they want to be. Therapy can be difficult work, but you don't have to navigate that process alone. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, work through what is holding you back, and build the tools and confidence needed to move forward.

Most people come to therapy carrying something specific: anxiety that won’t settle, a low stretch that has lasted too long, a loss, or a big change, whether they chose it or it chose them. Many also arrive having felt misunderstood or judged somewhere along the way. I’m a Seattle-based psychotherapist with 13 years of clinical experience working with adults of all ages, from young adults to elders. My approach is person-centered, which means you set the direction, and my style is laid-back but engaged. You’ll get a real person in the room, not a blank wall. I commonly work with: ▶︎ Anxiety, depression, stress, and burnout ▶︎ Life transitions: relationships, work, aging, identity ▶︎ Grief and loss ▶︎ Self-esteem and self-worth ▶︎ Relationship challenges (individual therapy) I’m an affirming therapist for LGBTQIA+ and gender-diverse clients, and I have long experience with polyamorous, ethically non-monogamous, and kink communities. Whoever you are and however you live, you won’t spend your sessions educating your therapist. All sessions are virtual, anywhere in Washington.

Hello! I have 20+ Years in the helping profession, including street work with homeless people, community development in Africa, institutional mental health, end-of-life care, resettlement with refugees, and multimodal therapy as Master level LICSW... “I can’t wait to work together! Whatever Challenge you’re facing, we will make sense of the thoughts and feelings. We'll find a way forward that you can Feel Good about.” My journey began as an in-home Caregiver for people with disabilities or providing end-of-life care while I completed a Master in Social Work. I volunteered in Africa with the Peace Corps. I spent years in community Mental Health where I earned my License helping people with psychotic disorders. To be more effective, I am pursuing advanced training in a range of Best-Practice modalities, including CBT, EMDR, DBT, and IFS. Most recently, I've been working with Refugees from all over the world to build new lives in the US. And... I’m a Husband and Father. Therapy is my strong passion. If I can help just one person embrace life more fully, it's been a good day.

I'm Sean, and I use he/him pronouns. I'm a mental health counselor with experience working with individuals facing difficult life circumstances and choices, as well as challenges such as anxiety and depression. I work from a mixed existential and humanistic framework, which means I think therapy works when we create an accepting and supportive atmosphere that invites you to explore your own experiences more fully to enable greater awareness and thus more freedom of choice. I may at times suggest specific actions if I think they might be helpful, but they are always optional. To me the most powerful things that happen in therapy happen through the shared understanding we build collaboratively, through you exploring your own experience. Therapy is something that is created between therapist and client not something someone does to you.

Have you ever felt that something was missing from your life, as though you were attempting to reach a destination; however, it could not be reached? We will be looking at ways to fill up our lives that provide feelings of purpose. Sometimes it's easy to look for the next quick fix only to discover we are right where we started. Back to square one! Together, we will discover what areas of life feel unfulfilling and identify barriers and approaches to overcome the obstacles to bring more life satisfaction and self-congruency. I only offer therapy to individuals who are 18+ and no minors. I also focus on integrated hypnosis. Through holistic and integrative therapy, we will examine the areas of life that may feel unfulfilling and develop strategies to build more meaning and consistency. By examining our current behaviors, we can develop interventions that focus on self-direction and self-autonomy. I provide mental health counseling, energy healing strategies including fitness. By reaching out to me as your mental health counselor, various resources and tools can be discovered to build more life satisfaction and congruency. This time is your time. Let's work together to find real potential and bring more life purpose and identify strategies to conquer any negative self-doubt and address any feelings of uncertainty.
