I am a social worker who provides a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where clients can explore challenges and build on their strengths. My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, self-esteem concerns, and adjustment challenges. Together, we will identify goals, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when you’re facing difficult experiences, relationship challenges, major life changes, or struggles with substance use. If you’re looking for a space where you can feel heard, supported, and understood, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey. My goal is to provide a safe and compassionate environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you move toward the life you want. No matter where you are in your journey, we will work together at a pace that feels comfortable and meaningful to you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel exciting, nerve-wracking, or even a little overwhelming, and that's completely normal. During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. We will talk about your current concerns, your personal history, your strengths, and what you hope to gain from our work together. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether I am a good fit for your needs. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My role is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can openly discuss your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we will begin identifying therapy goals and discuss how we can work collaboratively to support your growth, healing, and overall well-being. By the end of our session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of the therapeutic process and the next steps in your journey. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling heard, respected, and encouraged, knowing that you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is my commitment to creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I believe that meaningful change begins when clients feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. Using person-centered therapy, CBT, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care, I help clients explore challenges, build on their strengths, and develop practical tools to support lasting growth. My goal is to meet each client where they are, helping them gain insight, increase resilience, and move toward the life they want to create.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often use CBT to help clients notice and challenge unhelpful thoughts, and I pair that with practical coping strategies so they can feel more in control of their emotions and behaviors. I do this in a culturally responsive way honoring your identity and perspective.
