New to Grow
I am passionate about helping adults heal from trauma, understand how their past shapes their present, and reclaim balance, resilience, and fulfillment in their lives. In my experience, healing trauma often has a ripple effect, improving relationships, emotional well-being, and overall life satisfaction. I specialize in supporting those navigating childhood trauma or complex PTSD, people-pleasing tendencies, life transitions, emotional burnout, and relationship struggles rooted in early attachment wounds. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, with you as the active partner in your own recovery. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where we explore your past and present to understand how both have shaped your patterns, coping strategies, and goals. Together, we’ll connect the dots from past experiences to your current challenges, fostering clarity, insight, and motivation for meaningful change. In addition to other therapeutic techniques, I use EMDR to gently help your mind and body unlearn survival patterns that no longer serve you. Clients often leave sessions feeling lighter, more present, and in greater control of their lives. If you’re ready to stop surviving and start truly healing, I’m here to walk that path with you.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
You’re curled up in your favorite spot at home.. maybe a soft blanket, tissue box to the side, no pressure to be “put together.” There’s a warm mug in your hands, coffee or tea, something comforting. The space is quiet and private, just yours. You log in, and instead of anything clinical or intimidating, it feels like a conversation—steady, calm, and at your pace. No rush, no pressure to have the “right” words. Just a space where you can show up exactly as you are and start sorting through things, one step at a time.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I am a direct yet compassionate therapist dedicated to helping you achieve meaningful, lasting change. I create a non-judgmental space where you feel truly seen and heard, grounded in authenticity and professionalism. Together, we’ll set clear goals and work collaboratively to make each session purposeful and effective. My trauma-informed approach allows you to go deep at your own pace—without pressure—while feeling safe and supported. Clients often share they feel lighter, more present, and more in control through our work together. If you’re ready to stop surviving and start healing, we can take that next step together.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
You’ve done therapy before, but the same patterns keep showing up in your relationships, work, and inner world. You second-guess yourself, overextend, or withdraw when overwhelmed. Deep down, you want lasting relief not just insight, but real change. If you’ve experienced trauma or emotional neglect, especially in your family of origin, it can feel like you’re constantly managing invisible triggers. You may look “fine” on the outside, but feel stuck in survival mode. You’re tired of old patterns and ready to feel calm, clear, and connected.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is used to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. It focuses on developing healthier thinking patterns and practical coping skills to improve mood and functioning.
EMDR
EMDR is used to help clients process and reduce distress associated with traumatic memories or negative core beliefs by using bilateral stimulation while recalling difficult experiences, allowing the brain to reprocess the memory in a more adaptive way.
Motivational Interviewing
MI is used to enhance a client’s motivation and readiness for change by exploring ambivalence and strengthening their own reasons for making positive behavioral changes.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness techniques are used to help clients develop awareness of the present moment, reduce stress, regulate emotions, and improve their ability to respond to thoughts and feelings without judgment.
