As an Army Brat and Marine wife, I understand the unique challenges faced by military families. I'm also a mother of three young men, spending my weekends cheering them on at swim meets. Fully licensed in Georgia, Virginia and New Jersey, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can share your experiences and work towards your personal growth. I look forward to supporting you on your journey to well-being.
First of all, I love what I do and to witness the positive changes clients make in their lives as a result of choosing therapy to help them accomplish what they want. Often the goal is to achieve symptom relief so as to not be overwhelmed by anxiety, mood disorders or be better able to manage the challenges of ADHD. Sometimes there is not a specific outcome identified but a need for ongoing support for dealing with life transitions or difficult people. Sometimes clients use therapy as a confidential sounding board where they can talk to an objective outsider about situations and sort out their perspective. I offer various ways to see and respond to situations that might otherwise not be considered. Your opinion as a client is the most important one and I will also honestly provide mine when asked for. I believe therapy can actually be something that you can look forward to and an opportunity to learn new skills to use long after you discontinue, and we can even have some fun and laughs along the journey.

I am a compassionate and supportive therapist dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s challenges in a safe and nonjudgmental space. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My goal is to help clients feel heard, build healthy coping skills, and gain confidence as they work toward meaningful personal growth and emotional well-being in their daily lives.
If your brain never fully shuts off, you overthink everything, or you feel mentally exhausted even when life looks “fine” from the outside, you’re in the right place. I work best with thoughtful, reflective adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, burnout, relationship patterns, life transitions, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together. Many of my clients are young adults, college students, and young working professionals who are thoughtful, high-functioning, and often spend more time in their own heads than they’d like.
My approach is conversational, direct, and insight-oriented. I don’t believe therapy is about me having all the answers. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you identify patterns, challenge assumptions, explore different perspectives, and uncover solutions that already fit who you are.
Clients often appreciate my open-minded approach, curiosity, and ability to create a space where they can think out loud without judgment. Therapy with me is less about being told what to do and more about developing a deeper understanding of yourself and how you want to move through the world.
If you are seeking more than surface-level conversations and are ready for meaningful transformation, you’ve come to the right place. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, relationship concerns, trauma, grief, burnout, and major life transitions through an integrative and holistic approach to therapy. With over 20 years of clinical experience serving civilian, military, and veteran populations, I provide a therapeutic experience that blends evidence-based practices with mindfulness, emotional insight, strengths-based interventions, and spiritually informed perspectives. My approach is designed to help you gain clarity, improve emotional regulation, strengthen self-worth, and reconnect with the version of yourself that feels grounded, empowered, and emotionally aligned. Therapy is not just about coping — it is about healing, growth, and creating lasting change in the way you experience yourself and your life.

Welcome—I’m truly glad you’re here. I am honored to now offer supportive therapeutic services to clients in the state of Virginia.

My work is guided by a simple belief:
~When people feel safe, seen, and supported, they naturally move toward wholeness.~
It’s an honor to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and step into a life that feels grounded, authentic, and spiritually aligned.

I graduated from the University of Gdansk, Poland (B.A. Psychology), and obtained a Master's in professional counseling from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia. I am licensed to provide professional counseling independently in Arizona, Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, and Texas. I have experience working with individuals from various backgrounds and providing therapy in English and Spanish. Treatment is about finding hope despite the circumstances. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who treats children (ages Zero+), teens, and adults.
Born and raised in the inner city by a single mother and a large extended family, I noticed the needs of those that were mentally or physically diagnosed were often not met. Therefore, I began to inquire about what I needed to do in order to be a part of the solution. I began to work in the field and I have worked in Behavioral/Mental Health for close to 20 years. My experience covers a plethora of ages and diagnosis across many settings. My determination to treat and support those with mental health diagnosis during the pandemic inspired me to perform outpatient therapy via telehealth to adults and adolescents. I specialize in adults 25-55 with various diagnoses but primarily Anxiety, PTSD, trauma and Depression to name a few. I love to utilize CBT, CPT, trauma informed care (TIC) and Motivational Interviewing as treatment modalities.
I know how easy it is to become the person everyone depends on while quietly carrying stress, pressure, anxiety, or emotional pain underneath the surface. Many of the clients I work with are high functioning professionals, caregivers, parents, and leaders who are used to pushing through life while putting their own emotional needs on the back burner. Over time, that emotional weight can start showing up in relationships, work, sleep, mood, self esteem, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself.
My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you no longer feel like you have to hold everything together alone.
I specialize in EMDR therapy and work with adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is warm, grounded, and direct. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation with someone who is present, engaged, and genuinely invested in helping you heal and grow.
Together, we will explore not only what is happening in the present, but also how past experiences may still be shaping the way you think, feel, react, and connect with others today. EMDR can help reduce the emotional intensity connected to painful experiences so you can move through life with greater clarity, confidence, and peace.
With over 16 years of experience in mental health and substance use recovery, I am passionate about helping people move out of survival mode and feel more emotionally connected, balanced, and like themselves again.
I provide virtual therapy to clients in Georgia, Florida, and Virginia.
I am a Clinical Psychologist who loves to help people learn new ways of managing problems with mood and stress. You are the expert on who you are and what you're going through, and I want you to share that expertise. My goal is to listen to gain an understanding of what could be helpful, and to offer tools that have been shown to help address the problems you are facing.

I utilize a positive theoretical orientation which assumes that all individuals possess an innate desire for well-balanced emotional/mental health. I believe a person enters therapy with a strong wish, whether conscious or unconscious, to overcome obstacles and free themselves from constraints that are holding them back. I find that everyone needs a slightly different approach to accomplish these goals, so I adjust in technique for each specific challenge. I truly enjoy the experience of guiding my clients through this process and consider it a privilege to play such an important role in a person's life.
“Crying does not indicate that you are weak. Since birth, it has always been a sign that you are alive.”

Hello, My name Is Reginald Burgess. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. My specialty of interest is providing brief, short term counseling services to individuals seeking counseling to address anger issues, self esteem issues, and depression. I utilize many therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I have experience working with people from all different backgrounds. My primary focus is working with men who are having difficulty with expressing and processing negative thoughts and feelings. I have a particular interest in working with first responders and members of the military.
I am motivated to join anyone who is motivated to take on life's challenges to become a better version of themselves! I am ready to take this journey with you!
Many of the individuals and couples I work with are at a crossroads—frustrated, sometimes burnt out, and seeking practical, workable strategies for change. Therapy offers a dedicated, supportive space to identify obstacles and map a path toward meaningful personal growth.
With over 15 years of experience across healthcare, restorative justice, and outpatient settings, I provide telehealth therapy at Grow for adults and couples. My practice focuses on:
*Chronic Pain & Complex Medical Issues
*Anxiety & Phobias
*Fertility & Family Building Support
*LGBTQ+ & Gender-Affirming Care
*Eating Disorder/Substance Use Step-Down Maintenance: Supporting ongoing recovery from substance use or eating disorders following higher levels of care.
*Couples Therapy: Improving communication and relational dynamics (clinical outpatient focus only).
Practice Boundaries & Administrative Policies
To maintain a clear focus on clinical care, please review the following scope boundaries:
*Legal & Forensic Services: I do not provide forensic evaluations, court-ordered treatment, litigation support, or expert witness testimony for legal proceedings, divorce, or custody disputes.
*Disability & Administrative Paperwork: I do not perform disability evaluations or complete short/long-term disability claims; I do not write Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters.
*Telehealth & Medical Requirements: Virtual therapy for chronic pain, ARFID, or medical distress serves strictly as a complementary psychological service. Because virtual care lacks physical monitoring:
A. Clients with ARFID or eating disorders must maintain ongoing care with an in-person physician for routine medical safety.
B. Clients seeking pain reprocessing or somatic therapy must have their pain evaluated by a physician.
******If medical or psychiatric needs exceed virtual outpatient scope, I will assist with referrals to local in-person providers**************

Meet Tamera
Your Partner in Healing and Growth
I am Tamera Peterson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) and founder of Thrive Collective Services, I bring compassion, creativity, and clinical expertise to every session. I specialize in working with children, teens, adults, and families who are navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. With a strong foundation in evidence-based practices: including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Family Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Psychoeducation, I provide a supportive space where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection, understanding, and practical tools. Whether you're a parent seeking support for your child, a teen learning to manage emotions, or an adult working through generational trauma, I tailor treatment to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move toward lasting change one step at a time.
