Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW, DSW) based in Virginia. I earned my Doctorate in Social Work from Simmons University and my Master’s degree from Radford University, and I have over 10 years of experience in the field. I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating emotional regulation challenges and difficult life transitions. My approach is supportive, practical, and tailored to each client’s needs. My goal in therapy is to help clients build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward living their best lives by achieving their personal goals.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with adolescents and adults for the past 10 years, I've developed different skills for supporting clients in (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
I love working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with regulating their emotions. My clients are eager to improve their circumstances but don't have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel overwhelmed, anxious, and depressed.
