Welcome—I’m truly glad you’re here. I bring a warm, grounded, and collaborative approach to this work, shaped by graduating with honors in my Master’s program and earning my Bachelor’s in Social Work with a Minor in Human Services. With 17 years of experience supporting at‑risk youth and families across Illinois, Kansas, and Missouri—and roughly five years in a direct therapeutic role—I’ve learned that healing is most powerful when mind, body, and spirit are invited into the process. My background includes specialized training in DBT, ASIST, trauma‑responsive care, and emerging work with elders through grief support and medical assessments. My practice continues to expand as I deepen my understanding of military culture and the unique stressors faced by Service Members, Veterans, and their families. I integrate training in reintegration support, deployment‑related stress, and identity transitions to help military‑connected clients navigate life with clarity and strength. I am honored to now offer supportive therapeutic services to clients in the state of Virginia. As a Licensed Massage Therapist, Somatic Therapy remains one of my first passions and is available for in‑person sessions. This body‑based approach helps clients release stored tension, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect with the wisdom of their physical and emotional selves. When the body softens, the mind opens—and healing becomes more accessible, more intuitive, and more aligned. My work is guided by a simple belief: ~When people feel safe, seen, and supported, they naturally move toward wholeness.~ It’s an honor to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and step into a life that feels grounded, authentic, and spiritually aligned.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session with me is designed to feel welcoming, steady, and pressure‐free. I focus on creating an environment where you can settle in, breathe, and get a sense of who I am and how we might work together. We’ll explore what brings you in, what you’re hoping to shift or strengthen, and what support looks like for you right now. I’ll ask thoughtful, gentle questions to understand your history, your strengths, and the patterns you’ve been navigating—always at your pace. By the end of the session, we’ll identify a few initial goals or areas of focus, and you’ll leave with a clearer sense of direction, partnership, and what our work together can offer.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is warm, steady, and collaborative—I create a space where clients feel both supported and empowered to grow. I work from a trauma‐informed, strengths‐based lens, helping people slow down, make sense of their experiences, and build practical skills they can use in their daily lives. My style is direct but compassionate: I name patterns, offer clear language, and guide clients toward insight without judgment or pressure. I integrate specialized training in DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution‐Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, and ASIST, allowing me to tailor sessions to each person’s needs—whether that’s emotional regulation, communication, grief support, or navigating complex family dynamics.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

If you’re feeling constantly on edge, overstimulated, or caught in cycles of worry, you’re not alone. Many of the adults I work with—thoughtful, capable people of all ages—feel overwhelmed by the pace of life, the pressure to keep up, or the weight of expectations, both internal and external. Pause for a moment. Have you noticed how your body signals discomfort long before your mind catches up? The connection between mind, body, and emotions is powerful, and when they fall out of alignment, it can feel disruptive and exhausting. Clients often come to me to reduce anxiety, strengthen boundaries, heal from past emotional wounds, or break patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we create a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and authentic. #Freedom

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I've been using CBT in my practice for the past five years. It's helped dozens of clients challenge recurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We'll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact with one another. We'll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a more relaxed and less stressful life.
