I’m a dedicated therapist with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based support. I work with children and adults seeking to address anxiety, stress, depression, coping skills, ADHD, anger, or relationship concerns, tailoring my approach to each person’s unique circumstances. Through therapy, I aim to foster self-awareness, build coping strategies, and strengthen resilience, ultimately helping you find greater balance and fulfillment in your everyday life.
During our first session, we’ll take time to establish rapport, discuss the concerns that brought you to therapy, and begin identifying your goals. I’ll explain my approach and how we can work together, answering any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. We’ll also review confidentiality and any relevant policies to ensure you feel informed and supported. By the end of our initial meeting, you’ll have a clearer sense of how therapy with me might look and whether we’re a good fit for your needs.
I believe my greatest strengths lie in my genuine empathy, collaborative approach, and ability to tailor evidence-based techniques to each individual’s unique circumstances. By blending compassion with practical strategies, I strive to empower clients to develop new insights, harness their strengths, and ultimately create meaningful, lasting change.
I’m best positioned to serve children, adolescents, and adults who may be navigating challenges such as anxiety, stress, life transitions, or relationship concerns. My collaborative, strengths-based style supports individuals across different life stages as they explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By integrating age-appropriate techniques, I help clients develop resilience, healthier coping strategies, and greater self-awareness—ultimately moving toward more balanced and fulfilling lives.
I am experienced in implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in diverse clinical settings, including individual and group therapy. My foundational training involved in-depth coursework, specialized workshops, and supervised clinical practice focusing on CBT principles and techniques. In sessions, I collaborate with clients to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, then develop actionable strategies to foster healthier.
I have substantial experience utilizing psychoeducation as a foundational element of therapy in both individual and group settings. My training includes coursework and continuing education focused on translating complex mental health concepts into relatable information for clients. In practice, I use psychoeducation to empower individuals with knowledge about their symptoms, underlying psychological processes, and evidence-based treatment strategies. By clarifying how thoughts, behaviors, and emotions interact, clients gain a deeper understanding of their experiences and feel more equipped to actively engage in their own healing. Through a blend of clear explanations, practical examples, and collaborative discussions, I help clients build insight and confidence as they work toward meaningful change.
In sessions, I integrate DBT’s core techniques—mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness—to help clients cultivate greater emotional balance and resilience. By combining psychoeducation on DBT principles with structured exercises and skills practice, I guide clients to navigate intense emotions, improve relationships, and develop healthier coping strategies. Through this approach, clients often gain a stronger sense of control in their daily lives and an increased capacity to manage life’s stressors effectively.
I have a solid background in play therapy through hands-on experiences in child counseling settings. In practice, I utilize play therapy techniques to create a safe, age-appropriate environment where children can naturally express their thoughts and emotions. By incorporating toys, art materials, and role-play activities, I help them explore and process internal conflicts in ways that are developmentally accessible. Through this playful yet therapeutic approach, children gain coping skills, enhance self-esteem, and learn to navigate challenging feelings, ultimately promoting healthier emotional and behavioral development.

Nevajo was very warming and inviting during our first session. She took the time to listen and provide feedback on some of my behaviors she noticed during the session. She took the time to explain some different way to help reground myself as well taking the knowledge I provided about myself and how it is negatively impacting my mental and emotional health. She engages with me and my interest to also get a feel how I react when I was in a happier mood.

I felt comfortable with her right away she’s incredibly warm and easy to talk to. It didn’t take long for me to open up, which is something I’ve struggled with in the past. She creates a safe, supportive space where I feel heard. Looking foward to our next sessions!
