HeIlo. My name is Tracey and I am pleased you are here. Just to share a little bit about myself. I am a wife and a mother. I have worked as a licensed clinical social worker for fifteen years, however I have over twenty years of experience in counseling. Guided by Christian values of grace, hope, and compassion, I seek to support clients in a way that honors both their emotional well-being and, when desired, their spiritual journey. I believe healing occurs through a combination of understanding, truth, and practical action, and I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Welcome!
I came to this work a little differently than some. After spending 16 years in my first career, I found myself sitting across from a therapist for the first time. That experience changed my life. It gave me not only a new perspective on myself but also a deep desire to help others in the same way. So, I made a big leap: I went back to school to become a therapist myself.
Since then, it’s been over two decades of meaningful, often humbling work. I spent 21 years in community-based mental health and substance abuse treatment, and I was fortunate to serve as a contracted therapy provider for the Department of Defense—work that gave me a profound respect for the strength and resilience of those who serve. I’ve also worked in private group practice and provided therapy in intensive outpatient programs in Canada, gaining experience with a wide range of individuals and challenges along the way.
In November 2021, I opened my own private practice. It’s been an incredible privilege to support individuals and couples in this more personal setting, and I truly value the relationships I build with each client. If you’re considering therapy, I want you to know you're not alone—and change really is possible.

Hello, my name is Robert.
If you are like other people and feeling the pressures of everyday life then the stress from the cares of attempting to live a normal life are working overtime. The pace today is more hectic. People need help. Everyone deserves a safe place and a stable environment. I find the most effective ways to help people feel comfortable with therapy is a welcoming attitude with curiosity about their experiences that have brought the person into the session.
My approach is to build a strong therapeutic alliance, provide acceptance, and focus on the present moment without judgment to help people gain the skills for managing complicated situations. Clients have often stated the experience was easy to discuss their issues without worry and they felt non-judged regardless of the situation. We will work together to discover what works, promote healing the whole person, and help understand the dynamics of existing relationships to choose to respond in a rational way to master life to the greatest extent possible.
Seeking therapy can feel scary but you’re making the right choice. In our sessions together I’ll meet you with compassion and with evidence-based strategies so you can build resilience, and stability to find the supports you need.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Virginia. I received my graduate training at Smith College School for Social Work in a clinically focused program. I believe that here is hope in the process of self-discovery. You are responsible for your process of change and the power of healing lies within each of us. I will be your skilled responsive partner. We will hold space for difficult and joyous moments. Let's journey together as you gain insight and build a life that works better for you. My therapeutic approach is attuned, responsive, person-centered and culturally aware. I strive to build a trusting empathic connection that fosters safety and authenticity. I have worked with persons presenting with a wide range of issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, interpersonal challenges, adjustment challenges, stress reactions, and male abuse survivors.
You keep seeing everyone posting about being their best self, and showing up for themselves. Meanwhile you are just trying to be. Whatever that be, may be for the day. I believe that in order to be your best self, you must be authentic. What does that even look like? You must be true to what you’ve endured, the things that you have overcome…the good, the bad, and even the ugly moments. I help women to embrace them all. Then we take it a step further and look at building you up as a WHOLE. So your best self starts with where you are today and then we create a plan on where you want to be and who you want to become.
I have been a mental health professional for more than twenty years, working with individuals who often find themselves at a crossroads and unsure where to begin in addressing what they are feeling. My experience spans a variety of settings, including community mental health, public schools, disability services, and outpatient care. looking for someone who can work with your family across different ages, that's something I

single parents. A lot of my clients have been carrying something for a long time before they
finally reach out — that's more common than you'd think, and it's never too late to start.

Hellooo! I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist living in Virginia. I received my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Regent University in 2008.
I have lived in many different places but mostly I grew up in eastern North Carolina and Europe. Having parents from western New York and southern West Virginia, I was raised in a "northern" household in a "southern" environment. I like to think these contrasts in my life have helped me learn to adapt and identify with many different types of people. While I value the privilege of being an American, I love what other nationalities contribute to my world. Standing beside my clients and walking with them through their difficult times is one of my greatest joys.
I will like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as a licensed mental health therapist. I want to tell you a little about myself and my fieldwork experiences. I worked in this field for several years, along with various training, to assist clients in different areas. In the last several years, I worked in a mental health hospital with adolescents, substance abuse, and crisis intervention in various settings. People with trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia were some of the people I helped at work. I worked with individuals on career choices to increase their career paths to maximize success. I support individuals in their desire to become independent, and I do this by helping them identify their true potential.

Hello, I'm Mary Jo -
I have extensive knowledge and skills in both outpatient mental health and school clinical practices, wellness interventions and programs, implementing mental wellness professional development and have provided training both locally and nationally regarding evidence-based practices in schools. I supervised clinicians in outpatient substance abuse for a hospital treatment program and was a supervisor for clinicians for Employee Assistance Programs. Most recently, I have been an administrator within a large school division supporting 187 school social workers, supervisors and several managers. I have received clinical training in DBT, solution-focused and CBT clinical modalities and I work with older children, adolescents, and families in my private practice.
I am passionate about supporting individuals and families' mental health and wellness by assisting adolescents and families with finding solutions to improve their relationships, and moods and find more happiness in their lives. I specialize in supporting adolescents to find solutions for the next steps toward college and career success and manage their strong emotions such as anxiety, sadness and anger to have healthier relationships with their peers, teachers and within their families. In our counseling sessions we will focus on finding your goals for a more holistic health, better relationships and solutions for having peace and happiness in your life.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience working with children and adults. I have primarily worked within school systems as an on-site therapist; as well as in my own private practice. I work with people who have a variety of concerns, including: trauma, attachment, grief and loss, divorce, school problems, anxiety and depression, life-phase transitions, and family conflicts. I value an eclectic and prescriptive therapeutic model, and am skilled at shifting gears when the need arises.
My specialty is working with children 2 to 12. As a registered play therapist/supervisor, I understand the language that children routinely use to communicate: play. Through play therapy, children can explore new roles, act out challenging situations, and re-work beliefs about themselves and others. In parent-child play therapy (with younger children), we work together to build secure and safe connections, practice new ways of communicating, and foster JOY in your interactions.
In addition to play therapy, I have trained extensively in EMDR (for children and adults), Jungian sandtray, the Oaklander Model of Gestalt Play therapy, Mindfulness, and Theraplay. Every one of these modalities is meant to foster relationships built on safety, warmth, security, and trust.
My work with adult clients can be described as "going deep." I especially enjoy working with adult women going through life transitions (career, family, spiritual). In addition, I am interested in working with other therapists who experience clinical burnout.
In my life outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, crocheting, reading, yoga, walking, petting my cats, and spending time in nature.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes that meaningful change happens when people feel safe, understood, and genuinely accepted. I work with children and families, and I bring creativity, humor, and a down-to-earth approach into every session. Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating sometimes it looks like play, laughter, art supplies on the floor, or learning new ways to connect in the middle of everyday chaos. If you’re looking for a therapist who gets your child’s unique needs and knows that change doesn’t have to be boring or stressful, you’re in the right place! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who was born and raised in the Caribbean and immigrated to the United States at age twelve. I obtained my Master's Degree from Columbia University in Social Work and have been a licensed clinician for nine years. I work with clients that struggle with depression, anxiety, self esteem, life transitions, trauma, substance misuse, psychosis, mood disorders, to name a few. My goal as a therapist is to always meet the client where they are; to provide a space where the client is heard and validated; to provide guidance, empathy, and support to allow the client to build on their own strengths to in turn process and overcome their life challenges.
