New to Grow
Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and accepted from the very beginning. I believe that healing happens through genuine connection, trust, and collaboration. I work with adults and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, trauma, self-esteem challenges, ADHD, and grief. My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and tailored to your unique needs rather than a one-size-fits-all model. Together, we’ll identify your strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season or simply want to better understand yourself, I’m here to help you move forward with confidence and hope.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a comfortable, judgment-free environment. We’ll spend time discussing what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions about your background, relationships, mental health history, and any important life experiences to better understand your unique perspective. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My priority is creating a safe space where you can feel heard, respected, and supported. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals that are meaningful to you and discuss how therapy can best meet your needs. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions about the therapy process, my approach, or anything else that’s on your mind. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of what working together will look like.
I strive to balance compassion with honesty. My clients often describe me as approachable, genuine, and easy to talk to while also appreciating that I provide practical tools and gentle accountability. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process where you feel empowered, not judged. Rather than simply listening, I actively help clients recognize patterns, challenge unhelpful beliefs, strengthen coping skills, and build confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges. I tailor treatment to each individual because no two people or experiences are exactly alike. I use evidence-based approaches while recognizing that every person’s journey is unique. I believe lasting change comes from understanding both the “why” behind our thoughts and behaviors and learning practical ways to respond differently. Whether you’re looking for emotional support, new coping strategies, or personal growth, I’ll meet you where you are and help you take realistic, meaningful steps toward the life you want
My ideal client is someone who is ready to invest in their mental health, even if they’re unsure where to begin. They may be experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, life transitions, ADHD, or feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life. They don’t need to have everything figured out—they simply need a willingness to show up and be open to the process. I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season, healing from past experiences, strengthening relationships, or working toward personal growth, we’ll work together to create a treatment plan that fits your unique needs and goals. My aim is to provide a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel heard, challenged when appropriate, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes.
Attachment-based therapy focuses on how our earliest relationships shape the way we see ourselves, connect with others, and respond to life’s challenges. Sometimes past experiences can lead to patterns such as difficulty trusting others, fear of rejection, or challenges with emotional regulation. Together, we’ll explore these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment, helping you better understand where they come from. As we build a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship, you’ll learn healthier ways to communicate, strengthen relationships, develop self-compassion, and create more secure, fulfilling connections with the people who matter most.
Child-Parent Psychotherapy strengthens the relationship between children and their caregivers while helping families heal from stressful or traumatic experiences. Through play, conversation, and guided interactions, we work together to improve communication, strengthen attachment, support emotional development, and create a greater sense of safety and connection. Caregivers play an active role throughout the process.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps you recognize how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful thinking patterns, develop healthier ways of coping, and practice practical skills you can use in everyday life. CBT is a goal-oriented approach that can be effective for anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, and many other concerns.
Trauma-Focused CBT is designed to help children, teens, and their caregivers process and heal from traumatic experiences. Using developmentally appropriate techniques, we’ll build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, address trauma-related thoughts and feelings, and strengthen family support. Treatment moves at a pace that promotes safety, healing, and resilience.
Children often communicate through play more naturally than through words. Play therapy uses age-appropriate activities to help children express emotions, process experiences, develop coping skills, improve behavior, and strengthen problem-solving abilities. I work closely with caregivers to support progress both during sessions and at home.
