Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Based out of Texas. Licensed both in Texas and Pennsylvania. I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years. I specialize primarily in working with individuals that struggle with trauma and anxiety. With experience in various types of trauma, I have partnered with many individuals to help them learn how to navigate life. My goal is to empower the individual through learning coping skills that are the right fit for the person.
I am also an individual that believes all people deserve therapy, I am not going to judge a client, or make them feel small. My job is truly to hear what my client has to say and offer any skill that I have to help that person. I am an ally to all people regardless of your identity.
Feeling overwhelmed by day-to-day life is something many people experience, and counseling can provide a supportive space to work through those challenges. My goal is to offer a nonjudgmental, empathetic environment where we can identify your goals, work toward them together, and regularly evaluate your progress.
I especially enjoy working with individuals living with chronic illnesses, as well as partners, family members, and caregivers who may also need support but often hesitate to ask for help. I also work with people who have been falsely accused and may be navigating stress, uncertainty, isolation, or difficult emotions that can feel overwhelming to manage alone.

Hello! I am Julia.
Are you feeling stuck? Overwhelmed by current events or the direction your life has taken? Do you find yourself repeating behaviors or patterns of behavior that contribute to your unhappiness, and you don’t understand why? Do you have thoughts or feelings that upset you? Are you struggling to handle sudden changes in your life, including new physical limitations?
I have good news. You are not alone. And help is out there.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas, and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. I focus on providing a safe, compassionate, empathetic environment while also promoting accountability and proactive planning to encourage positive changes. Most importantly, I am here to work with you to help you on your journey to become the person you want to be. To that end, we will work together to determine what strategies work best for you. I am here to listen and support, without judgment.
I’ve been a therapist for nearly 20 years, and my style is conversational, engaged, and direct. I won’t just sit quietly and nod—I’ll ask questions, share what I’m noticing, and help you consider perspectives you may not have thought about before.
I work primarily with adults dealing with anxiety, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem and identity concerns, and major life or career transitions. I’m especially well suited for people who are thoughtful and self-aware but still find themselves repeating patterns like people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, fear of rejection, conflict avoidance, overthinking, or taking responsibility for other people’s feelings. I also have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ adults.
I’m a good fit if you want to understand not only what’s happening in your life, but why certain patterns keep happening. We’ll look at your relationships and circumstances while also being curious about your own assumptions, reactions, and choices—and what you actually have the power to change.
My approach is integrative, insight-oriented, and practical, drawing from cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, relational, and other evidence-based approaches. I tailor therapy to the person rather than trying to fit everyone into the same model.
If this sounds like the kind of therapy you’re looking for, bring what’s happening in your life right now and we’ll start there. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s going on, identify what you want to change, and begin figuring out how to get there.

Hi! I am Gene Gibbs, a trained counselor and mental health therapist. I enjoy helping people as they navigate the issues and concerns that arise as one lives from day to day. I seek to provide a sounding board that allows clients to hear what they are saying and then to process their thoughts and ideas and get a clear view of how they are heard and what it means. Have you ever wondered, “What is wrong with me?” If your mirror can talk back to you, what would it say? What good things or bad things will it tell you and how would you respond? I will be the mirror that will help you learn more about yourself and will give you an honest reflection so that you can make the best decisions for yourself. I tailor my counseling approach based on your specific needs and goals.
I combine a person-centered counseling approach with brief solution-focused therapy to give you the best outcome. I have a master’s in counseling with a dual emphasis on both School Counseling and Agency Counseling. I have over 17 years of counseling experience with all age groups, diverse populations, and subject matter. You don’t have to do life alone. Bring me your challenges, your struggles, and your troubles, and let’s work together to resolve them.
I also provide Christian counseling: God never promised us a life free from struggles, pain, or sorrows (John 16.33); however, He did promise that He will never leave us (Matthew 28.20). Life is not meant to be lived alone: It’s not a good thing (Genesis 2.18). I am here to support you and to remind you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalms 139.13-14), and you are loved (John 3.16). Nothing is impossible with God (Matthew 19.26). Whatever you are struggling with, whatever troubles you, know that God has a purpose for your life (Romans 8.28). As a Christian counselor, you can trust that my counseling approach will not stray from the teaching of the Bible. May God guide us as we work together to understand His purpose and His plan for the challenges in your life.
I have several years of experience supporting clients through life’s challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, family conflict, parenting concerns, and substance use. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space—one where you can be open, honest, and fully yourself without fear of judgment. Together, we will work at your pace to explore what’s going on, build coping tools, and help you move toward the life you want.

Hello and welcome! Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, and I want to honor the courage it takes to begin this process. I'm Elizabeth Parrish, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with over six years of experience. I hold a Master’s degree from Dallas Baptist University and am passionate about helping individuals navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, and low self-esteem. My work often focuses on issues stemming from relationship difficulties, work stress, family dynamics, and other life stressors.
As a compassionate therapist, my goal is to work collaboratively with you to discover peace, clarity, and confidence. I strive to create a supportive, honest, and authentic therapeutic relationship where you feel truly seen, heard, and valued. Together, we’ll work toward building the life you deserve.
Do you feel like you have a lot on your mind but don’t know where to put it? Maybe you’ve become used to keeping things to yourself, questioning whether your feelings are “important enough” to talk about, or trying to handle everything on your own. You may know something needs to change, but aren’t quite sure where to start.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating. My goal is to make that step feel a little easier.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can slow down, be heard, and make sense of what you’re experiencing. You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy—we can work through it together.
My approach is primarily rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping you recognize patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and develop healthier ways of responding to difficult situations. I also incorporate mindfulness-based techniques to help you manage stress, stay grounded, and become more aware of what you need in the moment.
Therapy is not about having someone tell you what to do. It’s about having a space where you can better understand yourself, work through what has been weighing on you, and develop tools that feel realistic for your life.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in negative thought patterns, struggling with stress, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Together, we can work toward greater clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of control over how you respond to life’s challenges.
Reaching out can be the hardest part. You’ve already taken an important step by considering therapy.
**I will not be able to evaluate for disability, custody or court-related documents.
I first want to thank you for taking the first step to seek out a therapist to address the identified conflict that you may be experiencing. It takes courage to reach out for help and I am privileged that you are considering me as your therapist. I have been practicing for over 15 years and have experience working alongside individuals, couples, and families who are seeking to work on addressing relationship conflict, overcome depression symptoms, and process past trauma. Each individual is different in their identified needs and I tailor my therapeutic approaches on a client centered model to address the individual needs. I consider it a privilege and an honor to work with individuals who aspire to not allow the circumstances of life to prevent them from living their best life. I would be more than happy to walk alongside you in this journey of self discovery and healing.
Hi, I'm Jonni Allen, from Houston, Texas, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and an Advanced Mediator. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, panic, or emotional stress - or noticing patterns from the past repeating in your relationships - you’re not alone. Unresolved trauma, depression, or anger can affect the way you think, behave, and connect with others. These patterns can also affect how you see yourself - leading to self-doubt, low self-esteem, or a sense of not being good enough.
I’m Manuel Olvera, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I specialize in helping adults work through anger, anxiety, acute and complex trauma, depression, self-doubt, and relationship issues, so you can feel more calm and balanced. I also welcome clients who struggle with ADHD-related challenges, particularly when emotional regulation or past trauma is involved. Teenagers are also welcome.
In therapy, I aim to listen more than I talk. I offer guidance and explain psychological concepts when they’re helpful, but my main focus is creating space for you to express yourself and process what you're feeling. I ask questions to help you explore your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviors - and I follow your lead.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and elements of CBT to support healing at the level of both the mind and body. I also help you explore how past wounds may be affecting your current relationships. For couples, I use the Gottman Method and often work with each partner individually in addition to joint sessions - especially when personal trauma is showing up in the relationship dynamic.
Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, struggling with anger, shutdown, or self-doubt - or feeling disconnected from yourself or the people around you - therapy can help. You don’t have to have all the answers. If you’re ready to start, I’d be honored to work with you.
I am an experienced social worker with nearly 20 years in social services. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating everyday stressors whether related to work, parenting, relationships, or emotional overwhelm. My approach centers on creating a safe, affirming space where we explore healthy coping strategies and reconnect with the mind, body, and soul. Together, we’ll work toward balance, resilience, and intentional healing.
No matter how strong we are, we all need a little help finding our way. If you're feeling stuck, anxious, or struggling with past experiences, you don’t have to go through it all on your own. Whether you're looking to improve your relationship, manage stress or improve your conflict resolution skills, I will provide a safe and judgment-free space where you can grow and heal at your own pace.

My name is Omar Sandoval and I could have been a statistic. The persistent financial, social, and inter- and intrapersonal adversity I experienced coming from a low socioeconomic status single parent home could have defined me were it not for hope, discipline, education, luck, and my hobbies. Instead, I am a Mexican-American English/Spanish speaking Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor practicing since 2017. I was inspired to work in this field due to many hardships growing up. Though difficult to overcome, such significant obstacles ignited my curiosity for understanding the human condition and improving upon it when and where possible, a lifelong pursuit which still guides me personally and professionally.
