DISCLAIMER: Please do not book me based off of ratings or reviews. Your experience with me will be personal and UNIQUE to YOUR needs, not someone else's needs or experience. Please book me if you perceive I am the right TOOL to use and help you reach your INDIVIDUAL goals. Book me if you are seeking an action-oriented therapist who provides HOMEWORK! Book me if you have insight about your situation, some history with therapy, are seeking solution-focused steps, and are not seeking someone to solely affirm you. I may or may not be the best therapist for newcomers (depends on you) as I ask a lot of questions, which can overwhelm you if you are not used to being questioned. Questioning is to understand you and get to the root of the problem, as well as the excuses used to perpetuate the problem. I am not interested in treating symptoms but rather getting to the core of the problem. If you don't want to do the work, I am just an expensive "Friend". So please be sure that you understand my style before booking me ;-). I am warm, DIRECT, solution-focused, AUTHENTIC, mildly confrontational, 100% Raw/Real and guaranteed to make you laugh as I have often heard from clients that I am funny :-) I won't lie to you or co-sign lies you tell yourself. I will gently reflect what you are not saying and what you are not showing so that you can explore for yourself. The only way out of pain is through. Not above, below, around but through.. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.

My professional journey began in education—I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Houston Christian University (formerly HBU) and spent over a decade teaching in both public and private schools. Hi, I'm Attalie. Have you forgotten to take care of yourself? Do you often wonder what it would take to feel some sense of balance in your life again? We are faced with challenges and changes in life constantly. Making adjustments to pivot to meet the expectations of those changes often leads to feelings of overwhelm, disappointment, frustrations and a sense of depletion with no time to care for self. If you often escape, avoid, procrastinate or for that matter take on everyone else's issues except your own sense of wellness and health I am here to help empower you to develop and access your own inner resources and move toward self actualization and personal growth.
I look at mental health in a wholistic sense. I mix mindfulness and decades of experience in fitness to help you find what works for you to live your best balanced life and find the fulfillment you need to step into the alignment of your purpose. Developing a strong relationship with self; defining your boundaries, recognizing your value systems and how they pertain to your way of being in this messy world are the staples to grounding yourself mentally.
You are enough, you are deserving, and whatever you are dealing with now I'll meet you there. Let's work together to find tools that are intrinsically yours and get to a better you, so that each day is met with a sense of balance and well being despite the stressors in life.

My main professional interest and passion is insight-based psychology and existential psychodynamic therapy. I studied and practiced clinical psychology in Belgrade, Serbia for 15 years where I also received intensive training in psychodynamic therapy and worked with individuals, families, and groups. I taught courses to graduate students at the University of Houston on Spirituality and Aging, Group therapy, Grief/Bereavement therapy and Research Methodology.
My deep dedication to the understanding and acceptance of the most diverse human existential experiences and challenges has led me to explore a wide array of aspects and sources of knowledge both scientific (evidence-based), but also those stemming from the creative processes of making music, literature, film, and art. My basic belief is that ultimate healing and balance comes from the inward, often unpleasant, but deeply rewarding journey into ourselves that incorporates our habits and thoughts, but also our physical existence, emotional dynamic and spiritual needs and values. My goal as a therapist is to be a reliable, trusted companion in this journey of self-exploration and self-acceptance.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, panic, or emotional stress - or noticing patterns from the past repeating in your relationships - you’re not alone. Unresolved trauma, depression, or anger can affect the way you think, behave, and connect with others. These patterns can also affect how you see yourself - leading to self-doubt, low self-esteem, or a sense of not being good enough.
I’m Manuel Olvera, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I specialize in helping adults work through anger, anxiety, acute and complex trauma, depression, self-doubt, and relationship issues, so you can feel more calm and balanced. I also welcome clients who struggle with ADHD-related challenges, particularly when emotional regulation or past trauma is involved. Teenagers are also welcome.
In therapy, I aim to listen more than I talk. I offer guidance and explain psychological concepts when they’re helpful, but my main focus is creating space for you to express yourself and process what you're feeling. I ask questions to help you explore your thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and behaviors - and I follow your lead.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and elements of CBT to support healing at the level of both the mind and body. I also help you explore how past wounds may be affecting your current relationships. For couples, I use the Gottman Method and often work with each partner individually in addition to joint sessions - especially when personal trauma is showing up in the relationship dynamic.
Whether you’re seeking relief from anxiety, struggling with anger, shutdown, or self-doubt - or feeling disconnected from yourself or the people around you - therapy can help. You don’t have to have all the answers. If you’re ready to start, I’d be honored to work with you.

My therapy style is supportive, reassuring, accepting, and genuine. In our therapeutic relationship, I will provide tools you need to reach your goals. You will do all the heavy lifting, but I will be here to support and encourage change.
My name is Pablo, and I have been working as a clinician for the past fifteen years. I have worked with a variety of clients. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, substance abuse, addiction, marital problems, anger problems, and a wide range of other mental health concerns in both clinical and hospital settings.
My goal as a clinician is to help people gain a better understanding of the challenges that can arise in daily life and how to maintain a healthy balance so that these problems do not define them. I want to help my clients understand the true purpose of counseling and how it can empower them to grow as individuals. I am passionate about helping people build the tools they need to live fulfilling lives.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Faith Development. I also have a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. I am committed to providing my clients with the highest quality of care.
