You're likely here because you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed by the chaos of daily life, or carrying the heavy weight of past experiences. Maybe you are navigating the tough transition from a career of service back to the civilian world, or perhaps you are simply exhausted trying to balance the demands of work, home, and your own well-being. On the outside, you might be keeping it together, but on the inside, you are looking for a way to finally catch your breath. Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all process. I am a passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who believes in building a strong, collaborative relationship with my clients. Having worked in a variety of high-intensity environments—including residential substance abuse programs, forensic settings, and with at-risk youth, first responders, and veterans—I bring a unique and adaptable perspective to our sessions. I specialize in trauma therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy). These aren't just about talking in circles; they are proven methods to help your brain actually process stuck memories and reframe the heavy narratives holding you back. My ideal clients are those who are ready to roll up their sleeves and do the work. Healing isn't a passive process, and if you are open to trying new strategies and committed to your own growth, we will make an incredible team in building your own shield of strength.
Reaching out is the hardest part, so I want to make our first session as comfortable and productive as possible. We will start with brief introductions and take some time to simply get to know one another. From there, we will dive into the specific challenges you want to tackle so we can create a tailored, focused roadmap for our time together. Most importantly, before we wrap up that first hour, you will walk away with at least one practical, actionable tool you can start using immediately to help manage the symptoms you brought to the table. This first appointment is the beginning of a collaborative process to get you back to feeling balanced and empowered.
My biggest strength is my adaptability backed by clinical rigor. Because I have navigated such a wide variety of clinical settings, I don't rely on cookie-cutter methods, but I do rely on evidence-based science. My extensive experience across multiple trauma therapy models allows me to do more than just apply a single framework; it equips me to actively guide you toward the specific modality that will be the most effective and natural fit for your unique situation and personality. Whether we are utilizing EMDR, CPT, or focusing on present-day management strategies, my approach is completely client-centered. I am fiercely committed to meeting you exactly where you are and equipping you with the right strategies to move forward.
I enjoy working with individuals who are working to find better management strategies that promote a healthy balance of work, home while also dealing with past trauma. My clients are looking for ways to find balance in their lives and open to trying new strategies to achieve this. They often feel stuck and overwhelmed in the chaos of life, or are struggling with transitioning from a career of service to civilian world or having difficulty finding balance. There is a solution and we will work together to find what works for you.

I have used CBT in practice throughout my career. It is an evidence-based approach that is effective in treating a variety of presenting issues. Because of the well-researched, effective, and easy to understand model, I find CBT to be a good fit for many individuals. It can also compliment other apporaches.
I received training in CPT in 2022 and frequently use this modality to address PTSD and other traumas. CPT is a more structured and specific form of CBT. I love using this model with clients and watching the drastic transformationt that takes place through the diligence in working through the intervention's homework.
EMDR is another favorite modality of mine. I was trained ini 2020 and have utilized EMDR in my practice consistently throughout the years. I spend time educating clients on this approach and ensrue their comfort level. EMDR addresses a variety of presenting issues and assists in processing distressing memories and desensitizes them and reprocesses to install a positive and transformative thought that creates drastic relief for the client. EMDR is another one of my favorite interventions to utilize as it can address so many different presenting problems.
I have provided grief therapy throughout my career as loss is an unfortunate, yet common human experience. I educated clients on grief and normalize how different it can look for the individual. While a common experience, it is unique to the individual and everyone should feel validation in that experience. I provide emotional support, information, and tools to process through grief in a healthyand transformative way.

Callie is very welcoming and a great listener. She is not overly serious, making the conversation much easier. There is a clear goal that she helps work toward during and after the first meeting.
