I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor who helps adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I believe healing happens when you feel both supported and challenged. Together, we’ll build practical tools, strengthen emotional resilience, and help you move beyond surviving so you can create a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and aligned with who you want to be.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is about getting to know you, not judging you. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, explore your current challenges, discuss your personal history, and identify what you hope to accomplish. We'll work together to create goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. My priority is helping you feel heard, understood, and comfortable while laying the foundation for a therapeutic relationship built on trust and collaboration. You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. Just come as you are.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to balance compassion with honesty. I create a space where you can feel safe enough to be vulnerable while also helping you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. My background in trauma, EMDR, DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, grief work, and substance use treatment allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. I believe insight is only the beginning. My goal is to help you build practical skills you can use outside of session so that therapy creates lasting change, not just temporary relief. Whether you're healing from trauma, navigating a difficult life transition, managing overwhelming emotions, or working toward healthier relationships, I'll meet you where you are while encouraging steady, meaningful growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is an adult who is ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change, even if they're unsure where to begin. Many are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. They often appear to have it together on the outside while feeling overwhelmed internally. They value a collaborative, goal-oriented approach and are open to learning practical skills, increasing self-awareness, and building healthier patterns that support lasting emotional well-being.

My treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps people process distressing memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming in everyday life. Before beginning trauma processing, we focus on building coping skills, emotional regulation, and a sense of safety. Once you're ready, we'll work together to help your brain reprocess difficult experiences so they have less emotional impact and no longer keep you feeling stuck.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps us understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another. Together, we'll identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge beliefs that may be holding you back, and develop healthier ways of responding to life's challenges. My goal is to help you build practical skills you can use long after therapy ends.

Faith based therapy

For clients who would like to include their faith in the counseling process, I offer therapy that thoughtfully integrates spiritual beliefs with evidence-based clinical care. Whether you're wrestling with questions about purpose, forgiveness, grief, relationships, or life's challenges, we'll incorporate your values in a way that feels authentic and supportive. Faith is always client-led and is included only if it is meaningful to you.

Humanistic

Humanistic therapy begins with the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and healing. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences openly. Together, we'll build self-awareness, strengthen self-acceptance, and help you make choices that align with your values and the life you want to create.
