New to Grow
Hello! I have over 15 years of experience as a counselor in a school setting and 6 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor, and 2 years, running my own telehealth practice. My background in both education and clinical work allows me to support clients with empathy and practical tools for growth. I'm a therapist who believes real change happens when you feel genuinely supported and understood. Therapy doesn't have to feel heavy all the time, my approach is warm, collaborative, and I want you to feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. My goal is to help individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions while building confidence and emotional resilience.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgemental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts emotions, and personal challenges. As well as to empower clients to feel more balanced, resilient, and hopeful as they navigate life's challenges.
Using approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), I help clients develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and build confidence in their ability to create positive changes.
I am well-positioned to work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, low-esteem, and relationship challenges. I also work with clients who may be struggling with negative thought patterns, emotional regulation, and developing healthy coping skills to improve daily functioning and overall well-being. I strive to create a supportive and nonjudgemental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT is used to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that impact their emotions and behaviors. Techniques are used to support clients in developing healthier coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and building more balanced ways of thinking.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Using SFBT helps clients recognize their strengths, build on past successes, and focus on achievable goals for the future. I work collaboratively with the client to identify practical solutions and make small, meaningful changes that can improve their daily functioning and overall well-being.
