Everyone has their own unique story and I will work to understand yours.
I work with a variety of people including individuals, couples and families from a wide variety of professions, family situations, race, age and religious affiliations. Some of the issues I have experience and success working with are sexual dysfunction, infidelity, communication issues, trauma, and mental disorders. My approach looks at the entire person and the “system” in and surrounding them. I examine elements of people’s lives like their physical well-being, emotional coping and conflict resolution skills.
We will work together in developing helpful behaviors and collaborate to create a safe place to develop emotional and physical wellness.
Everyone has a story which impacts their core beliefs about themselves, relationships, life and choices made. I start with your story and want to learn what it has been like to be you in this life. I will help you to identify negative messaging and how those messages impact your life. I will include homework in most sessions to support your ongoing growth.

Una de las razones es porque nos inspira esperanza, en mi opinion, todos nos podemos identificar con "el candidato a perder" de vez en cuando. I’m a therapist who believes healing starts with feeling safe and understood. I provide a calm space where you can talk freely and begin to unpack what’s been weighing on you. I have extensive experience helping clients manage stress, anxiety, and the effects of past experiences. In our sessions, I’ll teach simple, effective ways to handle emotions and life challenges. Together, we’ll work on building confidence, gaining clarity, and making choices that move you toward peace, balance, and a better quality of life.
As a first-generation Latina therapist, I chose this field because I know how meaningful it can be to have someone show up for you when you’re navigating the challenges of growing, finding yourself, and caring for your mental health. I want to be the kind of support I once needed—someone who listens without judgment, creates space for honesty, and meets you where you are. My approach is authentic, empathetic, and focused on helping you create meaningful change while still honoring your unique experiences and background. I’m naturally laid-back and validating, but I’m also a challenger when I see an opportunity to help you grow, reflect, or step outside of what may be holding you back. No matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, you deserve a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you work toward becoming the version of yourself you want to be.
Hi and welcome! If you like someone who is straightforward with a bit of dark humor, we’ll probably be a good fit and you’re in the right place. I love discussing things that range from the mundane to deep spiritual and philosophical concepts, whether it’s helping people through depressive slumps, anxieties, or all the changes associated with big life transitions. I feel that all problems are the problem and not the person themselves—regardless of neuro-alignment, gender, sexuality, race or age.

🧭 // APPROACH
Your holistic transformation starts now.
Clients consistently praise my empathy, perceptiveness, practical guidance, and measurable improvements they experience, with one noting: "Tim is empathetic and encouraging. I'm on session 7 seeing improvements. 10/10."
Therapy should feel like a cozy tea-time chat in your living room, creating a safe space where intimacy and authentic connection flourish naturally.
I bring a holistic, modern approach rooted in CBT, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care, supporting individuals through dating, marriage, or healing from the past. I tailor my approach to your unique story, helping you find peace, reconnect, and build lasting relationships, whether you're feeling distant, unheard, or weighed down by the past.
🙏 // GRACE POLICY
Please respect my 15-minute wait policy. Sessions don't always start exactly on time due to back-to-back appointments.
More than likely, I will be in the waiting room once you join, in a session, transitioning the prior client with grace, before I prepare for you.
As clients can be a few minutes late without issue, practitioners deserve similar grace.
🧘🏽♀️ // SERVICE & CARE BOUNDARIES
I DO NOT provide docs (e.g., dr. notes, signatures, letters) for lawsuits, legal cases, work accommodations, emotional support animals, or leave requests, this includes FMLA, unemployment, lawsuits, etc. If that's a need, i'm not your fit.
Furthermore, I don't tolerate any disrespect or intentional and malicious transference towards me in session. I am here to process your bad days and equip you with the perspective, tools, and frameworks to navigate them, not receive the brunt of them. I will abruptly stop a session in which I feel threatened, disrespected, or abused and report the client to Growth Therapy (or law enforcement). My work is my livelihood and passion. I will protect it and myself.
Welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) based in Texas. I am originally from San Antonio, Texas, and received my bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. During my undergraduate work I had the opportunity to study abroad in Accra, Ghana. After my ungraduate studies, I stayed in Austin for a while to continue working overnight at a shelter for survivors of sexual and domestic violence for women, children, and transgendered women while answering a 24/7 National Suicide Prevention Hotline.
I went on to attain my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the Graduate College of Social Work at the University of Houston. I spent two additional years in clinical supervision working in hospitals, crisis mobile mental health, and facilitating groups to attain my independent clinical license. Thereafter, I spent time in clinical practice to build expertise to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor providing individual, family, and group therapy. Most recently I have broadened my scope of practice to include my Chemical Dependency Counseling license and Certification in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. In my free time, I enjoy singing, spending time with family and friends, cooking, film, and television.
I help adults struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship distress, and work related stress become the best versions of themselves.
Welcome! I'm Jan Quirl.
Take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards improving your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time.
I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to explore obstacles with concerns related to anxiety, depression, and/or self-care. Since the days of pigtails, I’ve been pulled by this strong force to access wisdom and connect with something higher than this tangible world. This gnawing passion has led me to study the power of the mind and how to create what our souls truly desire.
I’ve been blessed to study ancient technologies such as yoga and breathwork and am so passionate about sharing simple tools to effect real change.
I was trained in counseling at University of North Texas, receiving my Masters in Education. My favorite courses were transpersonal counseling and stress reduction through movement. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas and have currently been practicing for 7 years.
I’m also a certified yoga teacher and trained at the Shri Kali ashram in India. The types of yoga I teach focus on activating the parasympathetic nervous system to release the whole self from the ever vigilant fight or flight mode a lot of us find ourselves in on a constant basis to survive in this modern culture.
In the therapy session, my main intent is to be fully present with you, free of judgment; to Become a spacious environment in which you can explore your own truth and start to shed the layers that no longer serve.

Hello Friend! Welcome to my practice, Pragmatic Solutions Therapy, PLLC!
I am an experienced psychotherapist with over 20 years. I've worked in private practice and in the clinical hospital setting and now own my own thriving practice. I have passion, dedication and ethical standards that I make sure to uphold with every client. My basic mantra in life is simple: Drop the baggage and take the value. Step out of that box and if you can't change the problem, then change the way you see it using a different perspective.
Everyone at one point or another in life experiences a host of unbearable stressors which may leave one feeling stressed or 'out of sorts'. We may even describe that feeling as 'lost in a web of frustration', which feels like anxiousness, fatigue, and perhaps sadness; as if our unique threshold has been completely depleted.
Feeling anxious is normal. Feeling stressed is actually a sense of determination to gain back control, though if comes with temporary tiredness. Anxiousness is innate in all of us. What's not healthy is when stressors cross the threshold of your wellbeing and you stay stuck there, feeling uncomfortable, which interrupts our daily habits/responsibilities to 'fix things' and you are left in solitude.
I’ll help you navigate the web of confusion to find empowerment.
Respectfully, Monica Pina
Hi there ! As a former educator, I’ve always been passionate about helping others grow, discover their potential, and build confidence in their own abilities. Transitioning into the field of mental health as a social worker , I continue that same mission supporting individuals as they navigate the challenges of life. I believe everyone has unique inner strengths, and my goal is to help you uncover and enhance those strengths . I use evidence based approaches such as CBT, DBT, Solution -Focused brief therapy, Trauma Focused CBT and Narrative therapy to support meaningful growth and progress.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy the simple joys of spending time with my dogs. They remind me daily of the importance of connection, balance, and play. I look forward to working with you as you move toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and well-being.
As a licensed marriage and family therapist I have particular experience and training in understanding individuals in the context of their relationships, families, and social identities. Sometimes our distress isn't just about what we're doing or not doing. Oftentimes, it's about how we move through the world in our social identities and how the world perceives and interacts with us so I want you to be able to talk about that in therapy.
I can relate and find it meaningful to work with individuals suffering from anxiety. Anxiety can be crippling and paralyzing, causing us to overthink which can get in the way of so many things in life from accomplishing goals, trying new things, socializing, sleeping or even smaller things that add up until you're overwhelmed with them, like answering the phone or checking your mail.
If you're feeling misunderstood, like you can't be yourself, anxious, worried, or trapped in repeating patterns that are causing you pain, I will join you where you are and we can work together to help you create a secure sense of self, and restore and improve relationships.

I am the oldest daughter of immigrants and a first generation college graduate. From a very young age I felt the weight of expectations put on to me by my family, society, and my culture. I became very good at taking on roles that were not mine, and quickly burned myself out. It wasn’t until graduate school that I really allowed myself to explore the root of my unhappiness. I needed to stop doing for everyone else and finally make myself the priority; I mattered too.
I now enjoy empowering individuals to find their voice and discover the freedom that comes with letting go of past hurt and behaviors that no longer serve them, and finally pursue the life they’ve always wanted.

Alyssa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Therapist. She studied Behavioral Sciences in undergrad where she fell in love with learning about why people behave the way they do. She went on to receive her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at The University of Houston. Alyssa trained in acute mental healthcare, where she worked with patients to address a critical moment of their mental health in inpatient psychiatric care. From there she moved to outpatient care & individual therapy where she enjoys working with clients on meeting their long term goals & processing lingering issues that hold them back from reaching their full potential.
Alyssa understands that it’s not the happy moments in life that bring people to therapy, but she firmly believes that true strength comes from rebuilding.
My practice is located in Portland, Texas. Much of my work focuses on trauma. This ranges from car accidents, to childhood trauma, to abusive relationships, combat veterans and PTSD. I respect my client's opinions on their treatment and work closely with them in treatment planning. I love it when clients share resources with me that have helped them outside of sessions, whether that be podcasts, books, etc. I work to incorporate these things into treatment. I'm very skilled at meeting a client where he or she is at, and I have a talent for coaching clients through the difficult parts of treatment to continue making progress and not become "stuck."

Hi, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) serving clients virtually throughout Texas and Florida.
I specialize in working with adults, high-achievers, and "the strong ones"—the fixers, leaders, and eldest siblings who are used to taking care of everyone else but are secretly running on empty.
My primary treatment areas include:
Anxiety & Overthinking: Helping you quiet the racing thoughts and find relief from that constant, "on-edge" feeling.
Burnout Recovery: Providing practical tools for professionals and caretakers who are emotionally exhausted and operating on fumes.
Life Transitions: Navigating the disorienting, messy middle of major life, career, or relationship changes.
In our sessions, you don’t need a script; just show up as you are. My style is a collaborative, faith-friendly conversation where we meet your real-world struggles with down-to-earth grace.

Hi, I'm Sondra!
My mission is to help individuals and families improve their lives through effective mental health counseling. My goal is to empower my clients and offer them skills that will help them overcome the challenges they face, so they can live a full and happy life. I believe it's my job to be there to assist my clients as they overcome life's challenges
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, chronic pain and/or chronic illness. Other areas of focus that I can help you with include relationship issues, anger, stress-management, physical and learning disabilities including ADD/ADHD, life-stage issues and self-esteem.
My professional career began as a certified American Sign Language Interpreter in 2001 and quickly progressed into earning a Graduate degree in Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin. My training provided the experience needed to work in a community mental health clinic providing high quality mental health care to residents in Austin, TX for 6 years. My interests in whole health led me to San Antonio to work with chronic illness, transplant, and geriatric care for roughly 10 years. Along this journey, I have had the opportunity to work with multinational clients seeking refugee services, worked as the Associate Director for Student Accessibility Services at a private university and currently involved in a fulfilling career as a counselor to veterans of our Armed Forces.
I enjoy staying busy. On my time off, I thoroughly enjoy spending time with my friends and family, always searching for my next adventure.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who blends clinical precision with genuine human connection. I don’t believe therapy should feel distant or scripted, it should feel intentional, focused, and grounded in real conversation. I’m engaged, attentive, and not afraid to ask the thoughtful questions that move us past surface level insight.
Clients work with me because I balance warmth with direction. I’ll validate your experience, but I’ll also help you challenge patterns that no longer serve you. When appropriate, I bring a grounded sense of humor and authenticity into the room, because meaningful work can still feel approachable.
If you’re looking for therapy that is purposeful, collaborative, and designed to create lasting change, you’ll find that here.
