I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Texas, with experience working in a variety of settings, including behavioral hospitals, outpatient clinics, and private practice. Through these diverse environments, I have had the privilege of connecting with people from all walks of life and learning their unique stories. Outside of work, I love to read, explore nature, and immerse myself in music in all its forms. These passions help me recharge and bring creativity and balance to my life, which I strive to share with my clients as they navigate their own journeys. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, meaning I prioritize each individual’s unique needs, experiences, and goals. This foundation allows me to use an eclectic blend of evidence-based modalities, including trauma-informed practices, Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT).

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Your first therapy session is all about building rapport and creating a comfortable, safe space for you to begin your journey. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, and you’ll have the opportunity to share your story at your own pace. This session is also a time for you to ask any questions you may have about the therapeutic process, my approach, or what to expect moving forward. Together, we’ll begin exploring your goals and setting the foundation for a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, and authentic environment where clients feel supported and empowered to explore their challenges and strengths. Together, we work on building emotional awareness and regulation, processing trauma, enhancing communication skills, and establishing healthy boundaries. In our sessions, we also focus on practical tools for stress management and conflict resolution to help clients navigate life’s complexities with greater confidence and resilience. My goal is to help you uncover deeper self-awareness and develop skills that foster growth, healing, and meaningful connections.

My treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR is used to help reorganize traumatic memories. It can be used when previous traumas are interfering with daily functioning or future goals.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Used when it feels like there are blocks in life, or to gain a better understanding of the whole self.

Eclectic

I pull from various therapy methods to help therapy feel like a personalized journey.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

Utilized to help better understand how personal core beliefs about self can affect your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Trauma Informed Care

I create a self space to explore and navigate ways to cope with previous trauma experiences. I participate in continued education to make sure I stay informed on ways to better support clients with trauma experiences.
