New to Grow
Hi, I'm Satya M. Sol, LCSW-S. I believe therapy is more than managing symptoms—it's an opportunity to better understand yourself, heal old wounds, and create lasting change. I work with adults who are ready to explore the patterns, beliefs, and life experiences that may be keeping them stuck and preventing them from living a more authentic, fulfilling life. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and collaborative, integrating evidence-based practices with a deep respect for the mind-body connection. Together, we'll work to increase self-awareness, strengthen your resilience, and help you build a life that aligns with your values and the person you want to become.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. I'll begin with a holistic assessment to better understand what brings you to therapy, your personal history, current challenges, strengths, relationships, and the goals you hope to achieve. I believe that understanding the whole person—not just the symptoms—is an important foundation for meaningful change. Our first session is also your opportunity to get to know me. I welcome your questions about my approach, experience, and what therapy together might look like. Finding the right therapist is an important decision, and I want you to feel comfortable determining whether we're a good fit. By the end of our session, we'll have a clearer understanding of your goals and begin developing a plan that supports your unique needs and the life you want to create.
I bring a balance of clinical expertise and genuine human connection. With over a decade of experience as a mental health professional, I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, somatic and nervous system regulation through yoga, sound healing and breathwork. I also utilize parts work, while tailoring therapy to each person's unique needs. Clients often appreciate that I look beyond symptom reduction to help uncover the "why" behind patterns. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" we explore, "What happened to you, and what has helped you survive?" This compassionate perspective helps reduce shame and create lasting change. As a holistic therapist, I also recognize the connection between mind and body. When appropriate, we may incorporate mindfulness, breathing techniques, body awareness, and other nervous system regulation strategies to support healing. My clients often describe our work as both practical and deeply transformative—helping them better understand themselves while developing tools they can use long after therapy ends.
