I want clients to feel empowered and feel like they can manage what they are going through. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. Feeling lost in the chaos of life or the tough stuff most therapists won’t touch? Tired of therapy feeling like a cliché? Not here. And if you’ve made it here, you’re probably not looking for surface-level therapy and you’re in the right place! Hi, My name is John’Neiska "JoJo" Williams and I am a licensed professional counselor in the states TX, GA LA, CO, SC, and ID and I can assure you, you’ve come to the right place.
I specialize in working with high-functioning adult women who are managing careers, parenting, relationships, and responsibilities on the outside, but feel overwhelmed, emotionally stretched, or stuck on the inside. Many of my clients struggle with emotional intensity, black-and-white thinking, or feeling pulled between extremes while trying to make sense of themselves and their experiences.
I believe healing happens when the mind and body are in the same conversation. Some moments require us to stay present, while others require us to explore how past experiences are still showing up in your life today.
I work best with individuals experiencing high-functioning anxiety or ADHD, and Borderline personality disorder. I am also trained and experienced in working with other personality and dissociative disorders.
Therapy isn’t just venting and I’m not here for small talk. I have a laid-back vibe, but make no mistake I’m here to challenge, teach, and help you grow with real change. No clichés, no endless “How does that make you feel?”
That’s why I incorporate behavioral and specialized approaches, including Ketamine Assisted psychotherapy, creative expressive play, and counterintuitive skills, all tailored to fit your needs. So if you’re tired of basic coping, ready to understand your patterns, and open to doing deeper, active work, this space was created for you. Let me help you find the power of the grey area.

Do you feel like you've lost your way, your purpose and identity,
or just need to get back on track? Hello! My name is Erie, and I'd love to help you.
Social workers typically have an interesting life story and personal experiences with tragedy that tug at our heartstrings. I am no different. At times, I wonder "how is it that I have survived these mountains and valleys?" Despite personal tragedy, loss, and despair, influential people have served as beacons of hope throughout the years in my life.
Along with my re-creation of self through school, internships, and certifications, I have learned one basic human tenant that would be my guiding light through the most challenging of times: people need people. I realize that this sounds a bit rudimentary, but this is the cornerstone of social work and the secret to my success in beating the statistical odds that accompany a survivor of childhood abuse, drug addiction and alcoholism, military combat trauma, and the loss of a child.
So, the question stands: why am I here and what do I want? I simply want to pay it forward as many have done for me. I would have never expected to be where I am or doing what I'm doing. I personally believe that there is hope and light in the most desperate, dark places and recesses of the human soul. For that reason, I bet on the underdog, society's undeserving, and those with whom all other plans have failed.
I find that my reward and inner satisfaction comes with doing for others when all else has failed and all others have given up. For this reason, I will keep doing for others, because they are worth it.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with expertise working with LGBTQIA+ and Nuerodivergent individuals. Starting therapy can feel scary — but it can also be life-changing. You are brave, and you're not alone. I believe that therapy is ready to work for those who are ready to make the leap. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ it is close to my heart to ensure that all people have a safe, nonjudgmental place to process life's challenges. I also tend to use humor in session as a way to process stressors.
I believe that compassion and self-love are powerful tools that allow us to overcome life’s challenges and mental health struggles. By fostering a nonjudgmental and understanding environment, we can acknowledge that perfection is not the goal—growth is. Each person is unique, processing experiences in their own way and at their own pace. Through patience, collaboration, and consistency, we can achieve meaningful goals and build resilience together. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my purpose is to help others just as I was once helped. My personal journey—marked by life experiences, challenges, and both right and wrong choices—has guided me toward the most rewarding profession: supporting others in their healing.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your healing journey and to help you discover your strength, resilience, and potential for growth.

I have always had the conscious goal of supporting others with being able to overcome their hardships and internal challenges that prevents them from being successful. I am a firm believer that in life we have all experienced some type of challenge that will impact our thoughts and emotions. For some people the challenge is more difficult than others and they will experience greater hardship and internal challenges that will send them on a spiral to the unknown. Being a therapist has always been a desire of mine to support others with understanding their thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors associated with how they feel.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for ten years now. You will always know yourself better than I can or will.
From a philosophical and theoretical standpoint. I am overwhelming more of an attachment theorist, and have been known to use existentialism from time to time to help make sense of something. I guess the question that remains though is; can a butterfly flap it's wings in Brazil and cause a tornado in Kentucky, or are we all simply just products of our childhood and mirrors of our parents traumas?
The duality of life.
Attachment Theory vs. Chaos Theory. Both have value. I digress.
My goal is to provide a petridish in which you can explore your self. Safe. Contained. Yet completely in your control. The paradox being, you likely already have what you need. I'll sit with you while you find it. I can give you my clinical opinion, or diagnosis, and recommendations along the way as well if you'd like that. I can just sit and listen. I can play devils advocate. My job is to listen, empower, observe, and provide feedback when requested.

I have been a licensed social worker since 1996, working with clients in healthcare settings and case management. In addition to being a licensed social worker, I completed graduate school and met a lifelong dream of becoming a licensed professional counselor in 2022. I have worked with the senior population in skilled, nursing, private homes, and inpatient physical rehabilitation for 30 years. This brought me to not only work directly with the senior population, but also their family members to provide the love and support needed to get through life's challenges and circumstances. I have gained experience in helping work through stress, anxiety, depression, family dynamics, job loss, marital problems, physical limitations, and/or disabilities, as well as long-term life-altering situations. I am a wife, a mother of two young adult children, a mother-in-law, a grandmother, a sister, and a daughter myself. My own life experiences help to ground me while supporting others.
I understand and know how family dynamics affect an individual’s physical and emotional health in all aspects of their daily lives. I am trauma-informed. I understand and realize that traumatic experiences (no matter when they happened in life) can follow us down the road when we don't even realize it is happening. Once a client understands how trauma affects their brain function and daily life, they can realize the power they have to make positive change in their lives, where before they may have felt stuck or powerless.

My approach provides empathy, engaged listening and behavior change support as part of my therapy style. I am licensed in both Iowa (MHC License 123416) & Texas (LPC 62282) as a counselor. I look forward to supporting you.
Hi there! I'm so glad that you have taken the step to begin your journey to becoming the best version of yourself...
A little about me, I have a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Kean University in Union, NJ. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington.
I have experience working with clients in a variety of settings and diverse backgrounds. I have worked within hospitals, residential treatment facilities, community mental health centers, non-profit organizations, schools, major health insurance companies, and private practice.
The past few years have been difficult for so many of us... It seems like any issues we had before the pandemic were put on hold and we were then faced with a brand new set of overwhelming issues to cope with! Now that it seems we are beginning to return to some sense of normalcy, there's finally time to focus on personal growth and healing.
LIFE be LIFING… From the outside, you’re holding it together—but inside, you’re exhausted and running on empty. Your mind won’t slow down, your emotions feel heavy, and you’re just trying to get through the day. You may even be experiencing compassion fatigue—giving so much to others that there’s nothing left for you. You don’t have to keep doing this alone. I help you move out of survival mode, gain clarity, and feel more grounded, calm, and in control. I’m a compassionate and direct therapist who believes healing starts with feeling seen, heard, and understood without judgment. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use recovery, compassion fatigue, relationship challenges, and overwhelming life stressors. My approach is practical, supportive, and grounded in helping clients better understand themselves while building healthier coping skills, emotional balance, and stronger boundaries. I strive to create a space where clients can show up authentically, process difficult experiences, and work toward meaningful, lasting change at their own pace.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have been working with families and children for over two decades as a teacher, a school counselor, and in private practice. I am here to help with the healing process and support emotions that arise through life’s many transitions. Rest assured that when working with me, you will be met with understanding, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach.
We will laugh! We will discover! We will create a plan for change! Intakes are 30 minutes. But regular sessions are 45-55 minutes! Let’s try to get through this challenging time in your life, together! I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I can't wait to embark on this journey of healing discovery with you! BTW, I am "booked up" for couples and family therapy. At this time, I am only accepting individual therapy clients-no couples, or family therapy.
