It takes courage to seek support and make meaningful changes. If you're ready to take that first step, I'm here to walk alongside you and help you build a more fulfilling and empowered life.
I look forward to working with you.
Hello there. My name is Joan I have been a social worker for over 25 years. Like you, I have had my own set of challenges and believe the key to overcoming life's obstacles is learning to plan and cope. We can't control all the pain that will come our way, but we can control how we react to it. Of course, this is sometimes easier said than done and we need help. I would be honored to assist you in your journey towards a happier healthier you.

Hi, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I received my Master's from Lamar University in Beaumont Texas. I have been practicing for less than 5 years. I am a practical, and down-to-earth individual. As a clinician, I help families, young adults, couples, and individuals by providing a safe and non-judgmental space for them to explore their thoughts and feelings. My approach to therapy is compassionate and client-centered, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
Halfway into the year, how is it going? Are you ready to try something different? If so, I may be able to help you. My name is Jessica, and I am a Bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I am committed to being an agent for positive change. I have always had a love and desire to help people. This has been evident through counseling, previous experience in education, and immersion in various cultures globally. I can assist you with setting and reaching goals to work towards being a better version of yourself.
I chose to change careers late in life. It has been a wonderful decision. I am able to help people in their daily lives be happy.
I attended SMU Counseling Program in Plano from 2010 to 2013. I was privileged to complete my practicum and internship at the Resource Center in Dallas. I requested this opportunity so I could help as many people as possible. This was not standard procedure, but I was allowed to do the unusual.
I believe clients simply want to be happy. They want to make their choices in life without guilt or shame. Everyone deserves that freedom. I hope that I can help people facilitate that life.
I am happy to share techniques that provide acceptance that allow people to not be impacted by the judgmental world in which we live.
Please give me a call and see if we connect and if you feel comfortable and safe speaking with me.

Drawing from evidence-based practices, I work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized strategies that promote emotional wellness, enhance self-esteem, and support meaningful life transformations. My commitment is to walk alongside you with genuine empathy, respect, and professional expertise.
Welcome! My name is Shelese Moaning and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I have been working with clients for about 7 years in various settings from acute psychiatric facilities to traditional online therapy sessions. I aim to create a space where you feel open to share the thoughts, feelings, and experiences that come with being human.
I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Youngstown State University and began my career working in foster care as a case manager, where I developed a strong foundation in advocacy, family systems, and trauma-informed care. I later expanded my clinical work as a mental health therapist in a school setting and within a collaborative program serving children involved in foster care, supporting clients through complex emotional and environmental challenges.
I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). My clinical experience includes counseling children, adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, low self-esteem, anger management concerns, and relationship challenges.
In my practice, I utilize trauma-informed CBT, solution-focused therapy, strengths-based approaches, and motivational interviewing to support meaningful and lasting change. I believe healing occurs in a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment, where clients feel empowered, respected, and actively involved in their mental health journey.
Hello, I’m Kimberley Bell, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and trauma-informed therapist passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, support, and practical tools for healing and growth. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, emotional stress, life transitions, and recovery from unhealthy or narcissistic relationships.
My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, integrating evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-informed care, and faith-informed counseling when desired. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported as they work toward healing, emotional balance, healthier relationships, and personal growth.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally unsteady, or unsure how to move forward — you don’t have to carry that alone.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of North Carolina State University. I work with adults navigating anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, and questions of direction or purpose. Many of the people I support feel capable and motivated — yet internally worn down, struggling to feel grounded, present, or confident in themselves.
My primary focus is helping clients stabilize emotionally and mentally — so you feel more anchored, regulated, and clear. From that place of steadiness, we begin to explore how you can grow into the fullest version of yourself, making the most of your strengths, values, and lived experience rather than trying to become someone you’re not.
Therapy with me is not about pushing or fixing — it’s about creating a solid foundation where clarity, confidence, and meaningful change can naturally emerge. For those who find meaning and strength in their Christian faith, I welcome that as part of our work together — though spirituality is never required or assumed. You bring what matters to you, and we build from there.
I am Sunny Alexander, and I’ve been in practice for over ten years treating clients working in various job placements. I am trauma informed and treat people in therapy with a holistic approach. This includes the whole being and all aspects of health and wellness. I’ve treated clients working inpatient and outpatient at a hospital. I instructed Intro to Psychology at a community college and I’ve been in private practice for over ten years. My unique counseling services create safe space for healing and self-optimization for individuals striving to find purpose and evolution of the self. Through healing and and self growth, my clients are able to let go of a ‘ceiling-paradigm’ to live more meaningful and enriched lifestyles. I help clients learn to cope in healthy ways with the symptoms that they experience and we work together to explore how to thrive versus survive.
Hello,
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that).
At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy.
As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran.
Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.
Hello, my name is Tiffany Simon. I am a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor, School Counselor, and Group Fitness Instructor, and I truly believe that wellness is about caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. In our society, there is a strong stigma against mental health services, but I try and break that stigma daily. I would love to begin working with you on your journey to wellness.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who specializes in supporting high-functioning Black women navigating burnout, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I also work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, and major life changes, including those adjusting to new roles, relationships, or life circumstances.
I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, gain clarity, and better understand your thoughts and emotions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you build practical coping skills while also exploring deeper patterns that may be impacting your well-being. Together, we will work toward helping you feel more balanced, confident, and in control of your life.
Hello, and wonderful job taking the first step toward making a positive change in your life. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, life transitions, or are simply feeling overwhelmed as a person in this world, you have come to the right place. Join me in a safe space where we can address your concerns and work together on feeling, healing, and making plans for your growth. Welcome to your new chapter. I am so glad you are here.
Hello, I’m Dennis Alvarez, PsyD.
I believe counseling should both encourage and thoughtfully challenge individuals to move toward their fullest potential by addressing the mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of their lives. I hold a Doctorate in Psychology and a post-graduate diploma in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I am a licensed psychotherapist with experience across hospital, treatment, and private-practice settings.
Throughout my career, I have provided individual and group therapy as well as comprehensive psychological assessments to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, substance-use concerns, and life-transition stressors. My clinical background includes work in hospitals, substance-use treatment programs, and outpatient private practice, where I integrate evidence-based approaches within a holistic, person-centered framework.
I am also the author of When Heaven Was Silent: Integrating Psychology and Theology in the Garden of Gethsemane, which explores the experience of mental suffering through both clinical and historical perspectives. My doctoral dissertation focused on trauma and psychological adaptation, further shaping my approach to helping individuals understand their internal patterns, build resilience, and restore a sense of meaning and purpose.
In my work with clients, I emphasize helping people understand how and why certain thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns develop, particularly in the context of anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance-use histories. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment while also encouraging insight, personal responsibility, and growth. My goal is to help you move toward a more grounded, authentic, and meaningful life.

Hi, my name is Mark. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. It would be my pleasure to get to work with you! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist; that means that not only do I work with individuals who experience all kinds of mental health challenges, but I also specialize in systemic, or relational therapy - working with couples, families & groups. I am a Presidential Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and served as a Chaplin, at a hospital. If you want your faith included in your therapy, please let me know; your sessions will be as "spiritual" as you'd like, and no more.
I have been providing therapy and counseling since 2016, and most recently worked as the therapy manager for a clinic that has four locations. Though I have worked with all populations of all ages, young kids have trouble sitting still in front of a camera. Children under the age of 15 are better served in an office setting.
I have been with my amazing wife for over 37 years, and have two wonderful adult children. I enjoy sports, music and all kinds of "outdoorzie" stuff. I most of all just enjoy time with my family.
Most of my clients profess to sincerely enjoy working with me; I tend to connect with my clients on a deeper level, and in a more meaningful way, than some other therapists. Many say that they or their children work better with me than any other therapist, counselor or doctor they've experienced. I am humbled and immensely grateful for their kind words.
I offer my clients a soft place to fall in their hurts and struggles while providing them a firm place to stand in their healing and growth. Always, in a judgment-free way.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, and ongoing life stress. I believe therapy should feel steady and purposeful — a place where you can speak honestly about what’s heavy while also making meaningful progress.
My style is calm, grounded, and direct. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we explore both where those patterns began and how they’re affecting your relationships, work, and sense of self today.
I integrate EMDR, CBT, and ACT to address the root of distress while also building practical skills for emotional regulation and clearer decision-making. I value depth, but I also value structure — therapy should not feel aimless.
I tend to work well with people who hold a lot together for others yet quietly carry internal stress, self-doubt, or unresolved experiences. I believe you don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. When someone is ready to look beneath the surface, not just manage symptoms but understand and shift what’s underneath, that’s where meaningful change begins.
I am a veteran of the USAF and learned what NOT to do, and graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Psychology, and an M.A. in Counseling and Education. I began counseling in Christian ministry in 1984 and have a biblical focus on counseling.
I have worked as the lead clinical therapist at inpatient treatment centers for adult women with trauma, as well as an inpatient treatment center with teens focused on behavioral issues. I have also worked with single adults, married couples, and retirees. I have also worked in Intensive outpatient programs for adult men.
I have been trained in EMDR therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Shame resiliency, Grief resolution, Solution-focused therapy (SFT).

Overthinking Your Way to Underliving? Let’s Fix That.
When you look at your life, it seems great on paper. But lately you’ve been stuck — unable to decide whether to take the job, end the relationship, or even pick a restaurant for dinner. You’re waking up tired no matter how much you sleep, and there’s a worry running in the background that hasn’t let up in a while, and even the small decisions have started to feel exhausting.
This is what happens when anxiety and depression show up together, which they often do — especially in people used to solving problems by thinking harder. The anxious part of you keeps spinning, weighing every option. The depressed part of you is running low, flat, hard to motivate. Both at once means you’re keyed up and worn out in the same breath.
My job is to help you untangle that: give the overthinking somewhere to land, and the exhaustion somewhere to actually rest.
Together, we’ll work on:
• Separating perfectionism from your actual values
• Making peace with “good enough”
• Building tolerance for uncertainty
• Treating the anxiety and low mood together, since treating one without the other rarely sticks
This isn’t about pushing through on your own. Therapy gives you a place to slow the overthinking, address the anxiety and low mood together, and build coping skills that hold up under pressure.

Hi there, I’m Olimpia
Do you ever feel hopeless? Are you struggling to keep up with basic day to day routines? Is it hard to give yourself some love?
I help to manage symptoms of anxiety and depression by learning and identifying triggers , looking at it from a different perspective, and how to have a better relationship with yourself. I do have an eclectic approach that involves mindfulness, diet, exercise, meditation, and awareness.
Whether it is anxiety, depressions, ADHD, or relationship issues, I am here to help. Therapy can be scary, but you have taken the first step to figuring out what is going on. Hopefully together we can get to the bottom of things and find the balance that is important to you.
I am a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, low self-esteem, and life transitions. My approach is personalized, drawing from therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, and Narrative Therapy. I believe in creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their emotions, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop practical strategies to achieve their personal goals. My aim is to empower you to live a more fulfilling and balanced life, with tools that fit your unique needs and values.

The past few years have been difficult for so many of us... It seems like any issues we had before the pandemic were put on hold and we were then faced with a brand new set of overwhelming issues to cope with! Now that it seems we are beginning to return to some sense of normalcy, there's finally time to focus on personal growth and healing.
Hello, my name is April. As a therapist, I enjoy the opportunity of walking with others on their journey and through the uniqueness of their experiences. I look forward to seeing clients confront patterns, challenge negative thoughts, regulate emotions, learn new coping skills, and build healthy internal and external relationships. Therapy is more than a place where you talk about problems. It is a place to confront, tear down, transform, overcome, grow, transform, heal, and see life from a different perspective.
