Hello,
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. I enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17 and in 1997, after 25 yeas of service, I retired from the Marine Corps as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Marine Corps, I worked as a Farrier (Horseshoer), as well as a structural welder (Ironworker), as those were the most marketable skill that I had. I came to a point where old injuries came back to haunt me and I could no longer walk (several years later, thanks to a surgery through the VA, I can walk again; thankful for that).
At this point, I changed professions and out of a desire to work with veterans, I returned to school, accomplishing all that was necessary to become a licensed counselor. I spent another career working for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically as a counselor in the Readjustment Counseling Service (Vet Center). I recently retired from the Vet Center and now I work part-time here with Grow Therapy.
As a retired Marine senior staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) and disabled combat veteran myself, the Vet Center was the perfect job. Vet Centers provide readjustment counseling to combat veterans and provide counseling to survivors of military sexual trauma (MST). Vet Centers also provide group counseling, bereavement counseling and couples counseling when this is determined to be of support to the veteran.
Readjustment counseling many times consists of treating/addressing symptoms related to post-traumatic stress (PTSD), I.e., anxiety, depression, exaggerated startle response, hypervigilance, sleep disturbance, etc. Many veterans go on to work as first responders and working with many first responders as well as medical personal, has provided me with a great deal of additional experience.

I attended SMU Counseling Program in Plano from 2010 to 2013. I was privileged to complete my practicum and internship at the Resource Center in Dallas. I requested this opportunity so I could help as many people as possible. This was not standard procedure, but I was allowed to do the unusual.
I believe clients simply want to be happy. They want to make their choices in life without guilt or shame. Everyone deserves that freedom. I hope that I can help people facilitate that life.
I am happy to share techniques that provide acceptance that allow people to not be impacted by the judgmental world in which we live.
Please give me a call and see if we connect and if you feel comfortable and safe speaking with me.

Welcome! I'm JoJo.
Feeling lost in the chaos of life or dealing with the tough stuff most therapists won’t touch? You've come to the right place. Welcome! My name is JoJo, Psychotherapist & LPC in TX, GA, LA, CO, SC, ID, and MD. I specialize in complex psychological disorders, mood instability, trauma, and emotional/ behavioral dysregulation. Therapy isn’t just venting—I’m not here for small talk. I’m here to challenge, teach, and help you grow with real change. Therapy with me will never be a cliche or endless “How does that make you feel (s)?" I believe that true healing happens when we bring the mind and body into the same conversation.
Who I Work With
I work extensively with individuals with high functioning individuals with a history of borderline personality disorder (BPD), dissociation (DID), other complex or overlapping conditions with ADHD, bipolar, anxiety, and complex mood presentations. My focus is on the complicated stuff using innovative ways that traditional approaches may not fully address.
I best work with high-functioning adult women who are managing careers, parenting, relationships, and responsibilities on the outside, but feel overwhelmed, emotionally stretched, or stuck on the inside. that have a history of ADHD or BPD. Many of my clients struggle with emotional intensity, black-and-white thinking, or feeling pulled between extremes while trying to make sense of themselves and their experiences.
That’s why I incorporate behavioral and specialized approaches, including Brainspotting, Ketamine Assisted psychotherapy, creative expressive play, and counterintuitive skills, all tailored to fit your needs. So if you’re tired of basic coping, ready to understand your patterns, and open to doing deeper, active work, this space was created for you. Let me help you find the power of the grey area.
The first step to healing is acknowledging there is an issue. As we mature through life some of us face more challenges than others. It is not the challenges we face that defines us but the steps we take to deal with the challenges that define us. Seeking guidance, an ear to listen is not a sign of weakness but strength for it takes a strong individual to acknowledge, seek and accept a helping hand. My passion has always centered around being a helping hand. I have experience in working with children, adolescents and their parents in addressing emotional issues and developing appropriate social skills. I have experience in working with juveniles dealing with mental health issues and a background in case management to provide families with necessary resources. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, the focus of the conversation is on you the individual, your needs, your strengths and barriers and finding ways to develop and increase your skills to live the life you want to live.
Sometimes it is scary to jump or to even take the first step so congratulations on taking the first step and reaching out.
I am a bilingual, licensed clinical social worker with over 21 years of experience working with individuals, parents, children, and families through community organizations. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and validated. Through active listening and thoughtful questions, I help clients gain clarity, identify strengths, and develop practical strategies for reaching their goals.
I am a licensed professional counselor living in the great state of Texas. I daily engage in reading, exercise, and quality time with my husband and children. I enjoy hearing the life stories of others, and addressing the wounds and toxic thinking that keep us bound in unhealthy choices and behaviors. I want to help you become a lifelong overcomer!

I’m a down-to-earth, no-nonsense human with a knack for noticing the behavior patterns that keep people stuck. Therapy is a second career for me, but it feels like the work my life experiences were preparing me to do all along. I bring warmth, honesty, curiosity, and a little humor into the room because healing can be meaningful without being serious every single minute. I work especially well with people pleasers, chronic overthinkers, boundary-strugglers, and anyone who is tired of living according to everyone else’s expectations.

I'm Jamie, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Texas. I use a blend of narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and supportive therapy to help you reconnect with your strengths and shift stories that are holding you back and build a path forward that feels like yours.
Hi, my name is Mark. Thank you for considering me as your therapist. It would be my pleasure to get to work with you! I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist; that means that not only do I work with individuals who experience all kinds of mental health challenges, but I also specialize in systemic, or relational therapy - working with couples, families & groups. I am a Presidential Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and served as a Chaplin, at a hospital. If you want your faith included in your therapy, please let me know; your sessions will be as "spiritual" as you'd like, and no more.
I have been providing therapy and counseling since 2016, and most recently worked as the therapy manager for a clinic that has four locations. Though I have worked with all populations of all ages, young kids have trouble sitting still in front of a camera. Children under the age of 15 are better served in an office setting.
I have been with my amazing wife for over 37 years, and have two wonderful adult children. I enjoy sports, music and all kinds of "outdoorzie" stuff. I most of all just enjoy time with my family.
Most of my clients profess to sincerely enjoy working with me; I tend to connect with my clients on a deeper level, and in a more meaningful way, than some other therapists. Many say that they or their children work better with me than any other therapist, counselor or doctor they've experienced. I am humbled and immensely grateful for their kind words.
I offer my clients a soft place to fall in their hurts and struggles while providing them a firm place to stand in their healing and growth. Always, in a judgment-free way.
Hello, my name is Teresa, practicing mental health for over 18 years working with the military population. Working as a middle school teacher in a lower socioeconomic area. This led to my desire to go back to school for my master’s degree in counseling psychology. Receiving my LPC licensure, led me to pursue my chemical dependency counselor license (LCDC). I began working as a substance abuse counselor with the US Army in substance abuse counseling. While working with the military I worked at a local hospital developing a program for civilians in chemical dependency. The need to work with individuals, and families including Service Members, led me to work as a contractor for private corporations. During this time, I received a certification in behavioral therapy to work with the autism spectrum population. Raised as a military dependent, then wife and mother, I experienced many aspects of different personalities. I was led to understand what it means to try to hide who you are to eventually become someone you may not recognize.
The goal is to have you see, life is wonderful, we go through the storm to appreciate the sunshine. The experience developed led me to work with addiction, anxiety, PTSD, and many other mental health issues. We are a beautiful bouquet with different views on life. Using an eclectic therapeutic array of mental health care has allotted me to develop individual care. This concept of care is the same for couples and group therapy. Some techniques include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychosocial therapeutic techniques.

Hi, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 40 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and find a greater sense of balance and fulfillment. My career has taken me through many roles—serving on community mental health boards, directing psychiatric residential programs, and leading clinical teams—all with one goal: to support people in living fuller, healthier, and more connected lives.
Since stepping back from full-time leadership roles, I’ve shifted my focus to what I value most—working directly with clients through my online therapy practice. I specialize in supporting young and middle-aged adults, couples, and parents who are facing life transitions, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, addictive habits, or a sense of feeling stuck.
My approach combines the practical tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with a deeper exploration of the emotional and mental blocks that may be holding you back. I believe healing and growth happen when we align mind, body, and spirit—restoring a sense of inner harmony that allows you to live with more clarity, purpose, and peace.
Therapy is a journey, and you don’t have to take it alone. If you’re ready to begin creating positive changes in your life, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Feel free to explore my website and see how we might work together.

I became a therapist as a second career. In my first career, I worked in marketing and analytics. I graduated with a BA in Advertising with a minor in Marketing. After working in the advertising, research, and business, I went back to school to get my Masters in Counseling.
I have experience working with eating disorders, athletes, anxiety, depression, divorce, conflict, life stressors and life transitions. I was a competitive runner about 10+ years ago which helps me understand athletes.
Dr. Oquandryia Ross is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration with more than 8 years of experience. Hi, I’m Tiana, a LCSW passionate about helping people reconnect with their most authentic selves. My practice is built for individuals who are ready to move past simply "surviving" day-to-day and instead intentionally step into a life that truly aligns with who they want to be.
My clinical philosophy centers on a vital pivot: I prioritize protecting your long-term energy and sustainable well-being over just maintaining a comfortable, temporary peace. I specialize in navigating complex life transitions, deep identity development, and processing the disconnect that happens when the professional or public personas we create to survive begin to overshadow who we actually are. In our work together, you will find an open-minded, grounded, and deeply collaborative space where you are safely challenged to step out of old roles and fully embody your true self.
Healing the past. Growing in the present. Strengthening the future.
Life can become overwhelming. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, or simply going through a difficult season, you deserve a safe place to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I’m Lorena Quintana Gallion, LCSW, a bilingual English/Spanish therapist. I believe you already carry strengths within you, and my role is to help you recognize those strengths, build on them, and develop the tools you need to move forward. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy—you just have to be willing to take the first step.
