Hi, I’m Brandi Eiland, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I help individuals work through anxiety, stress, relationship struggles, and life’s “what now?” moments. My style is honest, down to earth, and sprinkled with humor because sometimes healing starts with realizing you’re not the only one holding it together with coffee, sarcasm, and a to-do list you keep ignoring. Therapy with me is a space to be real, laugh when it helps, and build practical tools to handle life without feeling like it’s handling you.

My ideal client is someone who recognizes that life presents with many challenges and understands that receiving help is not a sign of weakness, rather it is strength. Those life challenges maybe due to stress, health issues, family conflicts, or something more, but they are looking to identify, process, and gain needed support and skills to conquer those challenges. They are looking for someone who will encourage them, keep them accountable, and be open and honest with them. I feel that therapy is more than an occupation for me, rather it is a calling. I will be a listening ear, support, encourager, and support for my clients. I believe that encouraging is a gift which I possess and freely give, and when my clients are going through some of their toughest battles, understanding that they are not alone really matters. There are many different providers who are looking to support and help clients, which is good, because finding the right provider absolutely makes a difference. I want to be a support, sounding board, and ally to work through crisis, challenges, and even give a different perspective. Life is hard, but finding the right provider should not be.

Years ago, I found myself facing challenges that felt overwhelming. Working with an exceptional therapist helped me heal, grow, and create a life that looked very different from the one I had been living. That experience was so transformative that I returned to graduate school in my 40s to pursue a new path—helping others create meaningful change in their own lives. Today, with more than 13 years of clinical experience, I help adults navigate trauma, relationship challenges, addiction recovery, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, affirming, and practical. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to take risks, and empowered enough to move toward the life you want. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something different, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

Hi, I'm Emily. Something brought you to this website in search of a therapist or counselor. Maybe it was a single event or problem, like a loss of a loved one or a sudden change in job status. Or maybe you've been struggling with a multitude of stressors and are feeling burned out, anxious, depressed, disconnected, and fatigued. What would your life be like if you no longer experienced these issues? How do you get to that point? These questions are the foundation of my therapeutic approach, which is goal-oriented, solution-focused, and personalized to you as an individual. Your goals are unique to you, so it takes a unique approach in order to help you reach them. Together, we will identify your goals, the barriers you face, and how to overcome them to get to where you want to be. Our past and current interpersonal relationships influence our own mental health status and are often the source of past trauma. I focus on building interpersonal skills such as conflict resolution, communication, and identification of healthy and unhealthy relationship dynamics to help heal trauma, and build a solid personal and professional support system to use long after our work together is completed. Since interpersonal relationships are so important to us as social creatures, the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is key to healing. Not every therapist works for every client. If, during our work together, you feel that this relationship is not a good fit for you, I am here to help you find someone who is. Please note that I am a LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist.

Have you been carrying more than you let other people see? Maybe anxiety has been running the show, and you can’t seem to quiet your mind or concentrate. Maybe a relationship has left you feeling confused or stuck. Or maybe you’re carrying so much that you don’t even know where to start. Whatever brought you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD and executive functioning challenges, relationship concerns, life transitions, stress, grief, self-esteem, and personal growth. Many of the people I work with feel stretched thin, pulled in multiple directions, and under constant pressure. Over time, that pressure can affect how they think, feel, and respond to the people around them. Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what’s happening, and identify practical steps that move you toward the life you want. My approach is warm, collaborative, and action-oriented. I believe therapy should provide insight, but it should also equip you with skills you can use long after our work together ends.

Life can feel heavy and overwhelming, and we don’t have to carry everything alone. I’m here to help shoulder some of that weight and guide you toward the life you’re envisioning. I practice from a holistic perspective, considering all aspects of your life and how they influence one another. Even when we focus on a single concern, we’ll explore the broader patterns and connections that shape your wellbeing. Growth is rarely linear, and we’ll navigate that journey together with intention and compassion to help you get lasting change. I thrive with clients who understand they need to work for change, want to gain insight and value personal evolution. Sessions often lead to new insights, “aha” moments, and sometimes even a laugh or two. Humor doesn’t replace healing, but it sure can soften the edges of difficult moments. For my qualifications, I’m have a bachelor’s in Social Work and a master’s degree in counseling earned back in 2013. My background spans substance abuse treatment, grief and trauma work, suicide prevention, attention concerns, and mood and anxiety disorders — I’ve walked alongside people through some of life’s toughest chapters. And if you’re interested in Law of Attraction coaching, I also offer that as a way to help you align your mindset with your goals and dreams.

I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist who believes that feeling safe, understood, and genuinely supported is the foundation for meaningful change. With over 15 years of experience across schools, hospitals, crisis settings, and community-based care, I’ve had the privilege of working with people at many different stages of life—from teens navigating overwhelming emotions to adults facing complex life challenges. My background as both a counselor and school social worker has given me a deep understanding of how early experiences, family dynamics, and life transitions shape who we are. I’ve supported students and families through anxiety, emotional struggles, and difficult situations, and I carry that same patience, empathy, and advocacy into my work with all clients. I’ve also worked in high-intensity environments—including crisis settings, alongside law enforcement, in hospitals, and with veterans, survivors of trauma and domestic violence, and individuals in eating disorder treatment. Because of this, I’m comfortable supporting clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. In our work together, I focus on creating a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. I balance practical tools and coping strategies with deeper exploration, helping you not only manage what you’re going through, but also understand it. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to you—whether you’re looking for structure, insight, or simply a place to feel heard. Reaching out for therapy can be hard, but you don’t have to do it alone. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more confident, and more in control of your life.

Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker serving individuals in ILLINOIS, TEXAS, and SOUTH CAROLINA. For several years, I have been in private practice, assisting both children and adults facing difficulties related to depression and anxiety, as well as supporting individuals who are experiencing losses. I have also worked as a hospice social worker, where I provided support and education to families navigating the end-of-life process, helping them prepare to say goodbye to their loved ones. My background also includes working with families who have experienced trauma related to abuse, neglect, family dysfunction/conflict, and legal challenges. I have experience and knowledge of the education system, having worked in the public school system. I understand assessments and evaluations for students struggling academically, developed Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and offered social-emotional education and individual support for students dealing with issues such as peer relationships, bullying, anger, anxiety, and other challenges that can affect their learning and growth. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a key element of my therapeutic approach. This evidence-based method equips clients with tailored tools and strategies. Together, we will identify triggers and explore ways to alleviate the physical and emotional symptoms you may be experiencing. Having been raised in a military family and lived in various states, I have gained unique insights into community, culture, and the importance of building new relationships. I am eager to learn and develop a trusting relationship with you as we work together to enhance your well-being and foster self-compassion on your journey.

Are you stressed out and ready to build the resiliency needed to navigate burnout and overthinking.? I provide a dedicated virtual space for high achievers and professionals to rediscover their internal strengths and find clarity in the midst of life's heavy transitions. My counseling style is deeply person-centered. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to follow your lead while offering a mix of empathy, warmth, and humor. I am a Colorado and South Carolina Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with extensive experience working with: individuals in the midst of grief and other major phase-of-life transitions like divorce, job loss, legal challenges, etc.; teenagers who are struggling with a variety of mental health challenges; couples and families that are struggling to find common ground; and fractured families prior to, during, and after divorce. Building strong families, even through divorce or custody battles, incarceration, or other prolonged periods of estrangement, is a particular area of focus for me. I offer reintegration therapy services for parents and children who have experienced short- and long-term separation or alienation. I love working with families who want to find a way to function better post-divorce. In addition, I spent a decade working for the Alzheimer's Association, which included counseling individuals and families who were facing a diagnosis of dementia. Prior to venturing into the counseling field, I ran a non-profit that operated a 100-bed homeless shelter, a family transitional housing program, and an eight-unit supportive housing project for Veterans. I have a heart for working with military veterans and their families -- having 22 years of service in the US Air Force myself. I served on Active Duty for 6 years, and after a break in service, completed another 16 years as a Reservist. My spouse served alongside me, with each of us deploying twice. Our son is currently serving as well. Therefore, I have been the deployed service member, the spouse left to manage things back home, and the mom watching her "baby" deploy to far-off places. There is almost no part of military service I do not understand through first-hand experience.

Every relationship leaves an imprint. The quality of our relationships shapes nearly every part of our lives, including the relationship we have with ourselves. Whether you're recovering from a breakup, struggling with family dynamics, navigating friendship challenges, or feeling stuck in unhealthy relationship patterns, therapy can help you heal and rebuild trust in yourself and others. My practice focuses on helping adults understand their attachment style, heal relational wounds, strengthen emotional connections, and create relationships that feel secure, authentic, and supportive. Together, we'll explore the patterns that may be holding you back and create lasting change that supports healthier, more fulfilling connections in all areas of life. Many of the clients I work with find themselves repeating the same painful cycles, overthinking relationships, struggling with boundaries, fearing rejection, or feeling disconnected despite wanting deeper connection. Through a compassionate, attachment focused approach, we'll work to understand where these patterns began, how they continue to show up in your life, and what it takes to create meaningful change. I believe healing happens when we gain insight into our experiences while also learning new ways to relate to ourselves and others. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you can process difficult emotions, build self trust, increase emotional resilience, and develop the confidence needed to create stronger, healthier relationships.

My Professional Background and Counseling Philosophy My passion for mental health has shaped my work with individuals, families, and communities across a variety of settings. Over the years, I have had the privilege of collaborating with clients to enhance their well-being, drawing on my experience across diverse settings, including hospital Emergency Departments, psychiatric units, community organizations, and mental health agencies. My professional journey includes supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, assisting those facing mental illness, and working with people who have experienced homelessness and hopelessness. I have also provided both individual and group therapy within clinical settings. Counseling Philosophy At the core of my counseling practice is the belief that meaningful change occurs through collaboration and purposeful effort. I view my clients as the experts in their own lives and encourage them to take an active role in their treatment by investing time and energy in the process. Together, we identify the outcomes that matter most to the client and work to ensure consistent progress toward those goals. My approach centers on empowering clients by fostering self-awareness and resilience, and I am dedicated to ensuring every individual feels heard, understood, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey. Commitment to Client Autonomy What distinguishes my counseling style is a steadfast commitment to honoring each client’s autonomy. For example, I have worked with clients who struggle with anxiety and self-doubt. By collaborating closely, we identify the client’s unique strengths and develop practical coping strategies tailored to their needs. As clients move through this process, they gradually regain their confidence and begin taking meaningful steps toward their desired outcomes. This experience reinforced for me the importance and effectiveness of a supportive, empowering therapeutic alliance. In every interaction, my focus is on achieving the best possible results and facilitating lasting, positive change.

Yes! If you use Cigna you’ll be asked to verify your Member ID at the time you book the appointment. However, if you don’t have Cigna you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
