New to Grow
Life is ever-changing, and sometimes, change can be difficult and uncomfortable. Life's stressors can become overwhelming and at times debilitating, especially as we transition from children to adolescents and from adolescents to young adults. Although I work with clients of all ages, I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. I am passionate about helping clients cope with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, severe and persistent mental illness, family issues, interpersonal relationships, and life transitions.
Your first therapy session is a welcoming space to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore your goals. We’ll talk about your history, current challenges, and what support looks like for you. There’s no pressure—just a safe, collaborative conversation at your pace.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I use evidence-based techniques such as CBT, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, and solution-focused therapy to help clients develop age-appropriate coping skills and mood regulation techniques. Clients can expect improved self-awareness, self-esteem, and confidence, along with a reduction in stress-related symptoms that impact daily life and overall well-being.

Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, emotional responses, and behaviors that may be contributing to distress. In sessions, I work collaboratively with clients to build practical coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life stressors. My approach is goal-oriented, supportive, and tailored to each client’s individual needs, helping them create meaningful and sustainable change in their daily lives.
Motivational Interviewing
I incorporate principles of Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore ambivalence, strengthen internal motivation, and build confidence toward meaningful change. Through a collaborative and nonjudgmental approach, I support clients in identifying their personal values, goals, and readiness for change while honoring their autonomy throughout the therapeutic process. I use reflective listening, open-ended questions, and supportive guidance to help clients increase insight and move toward healthier behaviors and decisions.
Interpersonal
I utilize principles of Interpersonal Psychotherapy to help clients improve relationship patterns, communication skills, and emotional functioning within their personal and social lives. In therapy, I support clients in exploring how interpersonal stressors, life transitions, grief, or conflicts may be impacting their mental health and overall well-being. My approach is collaborative and supportive, helping clients strengthen connections, build healthier relationships, and develop greater emotional insight and resilience.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I incorporate techniques from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify strengths, build on existing successes, and create practical solutions to current challenges. My approach focuses on helping clients clarify goals, recognize patterns of resilience, and develop achievable steps toward positive change rather than remaining centered on problems alone. Through a collaborative and empowering process, I support clients in building confidence, increasing motivation, and creating meaningful progress in their daily lives.
Psychoeducation
I provide Psychoeducation to help clients better understand mental health symptoms, emotional responses, coping strategies, and treatment approaches. My goal is to empower clients with knowledge and practical tools that increase self-awareness, improve emotional regulation, and support informed decision-making throughout the therapeutic process. I tailor education to each client’s individual needs, helping them feel more confident, supported, and engaged in their personal growth and healing.
