New to Grow
Hi, I'm Daria. I bring together Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), along with other evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs. My work isn't about fixing what's "wrong," it's about helping you feel like yourself again. Whether you're new to therapy or you've been in and out of it for years, my goal is simple: help you feel supported enough to be honest, and equipped enough to move forward.
Our first session is a conversation, not an interview. We'll talk about what brought you in and what you're hoping will feel different. I'll ask a few questions, but you're never expected to have it all figured out. We'll also notice what's already going well in your life, because strength is often easier to overlook than struggle. You'll leave feeling heard, with a clear sense of where we're headed.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and practical. I don't do surface-level advice, I help you understand your patterns, build on what's already working, and walk away with tools that actually hold up in everyday life. Clients tell me our work feels effective without feeling clinical. My goal is simple: help you move forward with clarity and confidence, not just get through the day.
My ideal client is a woman who feels ready for a new chapter. She may be navigating grief, anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, or a significant life transition, and she's looking for a space to pause, reflect, and move forward with intention. She's open to self reflection, willing to prioritize her own self-care, and committed to creating meaningful, lasting change. Together, we'll build on her strengths, develop practical tools, and help her move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and hope.
I use CBT to help you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, especially the patterns that show up during life transitions, grief, anxiety, or stress. Together, we'll gently identify the thought patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and work collaboratively to set goals that actually feel meaningful to your life right now. Using practical, hands-on tools, we'll challenge unhelpful thinking, build in small but rewarding actions, and strengthen the resilience you need to move through change with more clarity and confidence. This isn't about "fixing" you it's about giving you real strategies you can use long after our sessions end.
I use Compassion Focused Therapy to help you soften the harsh inner critic many of us carry, especially during grief, life transitions, or seasons of feeling not "enough." Together, we'll work on building a genuine sense of self-compassion, learning to relate to yourself with the same warmth and understanding you'd naturally offer someone you love. This approach is especially powerful when shame, self-blame, or years of putting everyone else first have made it hard to feel deserving of care. Through gentle, guided practices, we'll work toward quieting that critical voice and replacing it with one that allows you to feel safe, supported, and worthy, exactly as you are.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you make peace with difficult thoughts and feelings, rather than fighting against them, while still moving toward the life you actually want to live. Grief, anxiety, and major life transitions often come with pain that can't simply be "fixed" or thought away, and ACT gives us a way to hold that pain with more openness instead of getting stuck in it. Together, we'll get clear on what matters most to you, your values, and use that clarity to guide meaningful action, even while difficult emotions are still present. This approach is especially powerful for grief and life transitions, where the goal isn't necessarily to feel better right away, but to learn how to carry what you're carrying while still building a full, values-driven life.
