New to Grow
Hi, I'm Jazmine Diamond Sims, LCSW, LISW-CP, and founder of The Healing Hub. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where adults can explore life's challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful change. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem concerns, and women's issues. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical, blending evidence-based strategies with genuine connection. I believe healing is not about becoming someone different; it's about reconnecting with your strengths, honoring your experiences, and moving forward with confidence. My goal is to help you liberate yourself from what is holding you back, heal from what has hurt you, and thrive in the life you are creating.
Starting therapy can feel exciting, intimidating, or even a little uncertain, and that's completely normal. Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong foundation for our work together. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from the experience. I'll also ask questions about your background, relationships, strengths, and any factors that may be impacting your well-being. This helps me better understand your unique story and tailor treatment to your needs. By the end of our first session, you'll have a clearer understanding of how I work, an opportunity to ask questions, and we'll begin identifying goals for our time together. My hope is that you'll leave feeling heard, supported, and encouraged about the path ahead.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. I strive to balance compassion with accountability, offering both support and practical guidance to help clients move toward meaningful change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not a lecture. I work to meet clients where they are while helping them build insight, confidence, and effective coping strategies. Rather than focusing solely on challenges, I help clients recognize their strengths, build resilience, and develop tools they can apply in everyday life. Clients often appreciate my ability to blend evidence-based practices with authenticity, encouragement, and a focus on empowerment. My goal is to create a therapeutic experience where you feel supported, challenged when appropriate, and equipped to thrive beyond the therapy room.
My ideal clients are adults who are ready to break free from patterns that no longer serve them and begin creating a life that feels more aligned, fulfilling, and authentic. Many of the people I work with are high-achieving women who are used to showing up for everyone else while quietly carrying anxiety, self-doubt, overwhelm, or the pressure to have it all together. On the outside, they may appear successful, capable, and resilient. On the inside, they are often exhausted from overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, difficulty setting boundaries, or constantly putting their own needs last. Some are navigating ADHD, stress, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, or significant life transitions. Others simply know that something needs to change, even if they cannot quite put it into words. My clients are not looking for judgment or a quick fix. They are looking for a space where they can show up as they are, feel genuinely understood, and begin doing the heart work of healing. They want practical tools they can use in everyday life, but they also want to better understand themselves, build confidence, and create lasting change. Through a warm, collaborative, and empowering approach, I help clients identify what's keeping them stuck, reconnect with their strengths, and move toward the life they want to live. I believe healing happens when we learn to honor our experiences without allowing them to define us.
Other specialties
I identify as
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Life can be painful, and sometimes fighting difficult thoughts or emotions makes them feel even bigger. ACT helps you make space for your feelings while focusing on what matters most to you. We'll work on building self-compassion, connecting with your values, and taking meaningful steps forward even when life feels hard.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Many of us get stuck in patterns of thinking that increase anxiety, self-doubt, stress, or overwhelm. Together, we'll identify unhelpful thought patterns, explore where they come from, and learn practical tools to challenge them. My goal is to help you develop healthier ways of thinking that support the life you want to live.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT teaches practical skills for managing intense emotions, coping with stress, and improving relationships. I help clients learn ways to regulate emotions, communicate more effectively, and respond thoughtfully instead of reacting in the moment. These skills can be especially helpful when you're feeling overwhelmed or stuck.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Many people spend so much time worrying about the future or replaying the past that they miss what's happening right now. Mindfulness helps you slow down, become more aware of your thoughts and feelings, and respond to them with greater intention. I use simple, approachable mindfulness practices that fit into everyday life.
Strength-Based
Even when you're struggling, you already have strengths that can support your healing. Rather than focusing only on what's wrong, we'll identify what's working, build on your resilience, and use your existing abilities to help you navigate challenges with greater confidence.
