I’m Andrea Thomas, a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience, dedicated to supporting adults, children, and families. I specialize in helping people manage stress and anxiety, work through trauma and grief, navigate life transitions, and build motivation, self-esteem, and confidence.
At the heart of my practice is a simple belief: everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. In our work together, we’ll create a safe, open space where you can freely express your thoughts and emotions without judgment.
When I’m not in session, you can find me enjoying my favorite music or cheering on my favorite football team, it’s part of how I recharge and stay grounded.
When you’re ready, I’m here to listen, support, and walk alongside you. Let’s start the conversation toward your well-being.
Many clients come to work with me at a time in their lives when they feel stuck, lost, or unsure due to trauma, intense loss, or a major life transition. During these times, the people in their lives may not always know or understand how to help. This can be such a painful place to be, but just know that you don't have to go thru this alone. My expertise is in working with survivors of childhood abuse and domestic violence. Helping people comes naturally to me. I've also been confronted with difficult challenges and struggles in life where I understand how overwhelming it could feel to take that first step in seeking help. If this work has taught me anything it's taught me this: Change takes time and is a process, but there is more hope, possibility, and power when we work together to bring about change. My approach is simple-I will meet you where you are and together we can start your journey towards positive change and personal growth. If you think we will be a good fit please reach out to schedule a consultation-I am looking forward to working with you and helping you on your journey towards personal growth.

Hello there, my name is Joe Sampson, and I would like to take this moment to acknowledge you for your courage in seeking therapy. Your decision to seek therapy, illustrates that you are ready to take an important step towards creating a future where your current struggles are no longer the driving force in your life. My role in this this process is to provide and create a therapeutic relationship by offering a listening ear for you to tell your story and collaboratively work towards your desired goal.
As a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I am here to support you with evidence-based techniques and strategies to address issues of life stressors, anxiety, depression, familial struggles and significant trauma. Therapy does not have to be a scary process, when you work with the right therapist, it can be a wonderful journey of discovery and healing.
Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 12 years of diverse experience and I continue to evolve in new treatment models. I have worked with individuals, families, and couples alike. I have specialized training in depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and women's issues. In my approach to individual therapy, I utilize treatment methods such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused and Strength Perspectives.
Do you feel overwhelmed these days? Are you constantly trying to strike a balance between the demands of work and parenting or co-parenting, while also managing your health, housework, and perhaps other demands? In your family, does the caretaking always fall to you? Are you experiencing depression and anxiety in reaction to either a past trauma and/or burnout from stress? I work with women who are experiencing what I like to call "multiple-role fatigue". I have experience in treating depression, anxiety, and trauma-related stress disorders common to women who face an ever-mounting load of responsibilities in a complex society, where being a mother or a caretaker often comes with diverse challenges and responsibilities. I also like to work with clients on their recovery from trauma. With this in mind, I incorporate various treatment modalities, where healing and recovery can take place through a combination of compassionate conversation, active listening, homework assignments journaling, mindfulness, self-reflection, cognitive behavior therapy, grief counseling, boundary setting and trauma-informed care. I also offer a faith-based support, where clients seeking a Christian approach are welcome.
I like to form a supportive alliance with caregivers to help them navigate the demands of parenting a child or children with higher needs. I focus on parental needs, and I work with clients using evidence-based techniques to empower them to achieve balance and experience lasting well-being. For parents, I'm a big advocate of self-care, and I help my clients learn to nurture themselves in a sustainable way to avoid burnout. I also believe that parents need to feel seen and heard, and the stress of parenting cannot be overemphasized. Forming a partnership with parents, giving them a forum in which they feel consistently supported in a compassionate and non-judgmental way, therefore, is one of my top priorities as a therapist.

Hi! I'm a therapist licensed to practice independently in several states. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Master's of Social Work in 2006, and have been in practice since. I provide support to help teens and adults who are struggling with depression, mood swings, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD. My name is Graham Maxey. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1983, after graduating from the University of Houston/Clear Lake with a Master of Arts in Behavioral Science. I had noticed for many years that the primary problems people experienced in life were mainly due to living in a space of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that were "too small" to accommodate their well-being or their enjoyment in living. My goal as a counselor has always been to help clients "widen" the spaces they live in and let them have fuller access to all that their lives actually can provide for them.
"True success is the predictable result of hard work, patience, sacrifice & learning put into practice everyday." - Unknown
Hey there! Thank you for sliding on past my profile and the above quote is essential to not only my mindset in how I approach everyday as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) but also how I want to assist in creating a space for my clients. I am currently based in Pennsylvania & have over 10 years of experience working with an array of clients. I have helped many from young adults to older adults take a deep dive within themselves to challenge thoughts, perspectives and beliefs that create a mental and emotional limitation on becoming a more empowered and improved version of themselves. My goal is to respectfully challenge and guide clientele to look within themselves since they are the best expert on their own life and choices so that they can discover the innate skills and abilities that can take them to higher heights within their situations and lives.
I take a holistic perspective with my clients to address the health of body, mind, and spirit. I believe that a solid therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is a crucial part of the healing process, and that techniques and therapy approaches must “fit” the client in order to be effective—there is no “one size fits all” therapy. My goal, as a counselor and therapist, is to deeply understand my client, and when this happens we are able to identify areas of life that need to be changed, and ways of going about doing that. Therapy is a collaborative process between a trained therapist and a client who wants to change.
I see therapy as a collaborative process exploring how the past informs the present and allowing trust and authenticity to foster insight and development. After 17 years of practicing therapy, I strive to provide the highest quality of care, focusing on the unique needs of each individual and creating a safe environment with room for challenges, exploration, process, and growth.
I’ve been a somatic trauma therapist* for over 17 years. I believe healing can only happen interpersonally. I’ve worked mostly with the LGBTQ+ community, but straights are welcome. ;)
You will likely laugh as much as you cry, I’m hella clear with boundaries, I encourage shared online meals, and I’ll typically remind you of what’s happening astrologically (from what I’ve gleaned from the experts).
* a somatic what?
Think talk therapy that doesn’t ignore your body.
How so?
-help release effects of systemic trauma
-rewire neural pathways to create positive subconscious programming
-release effects of pandemic isolation
and retrain body/mind to access deeper forms of trust/intimacy
-developing awareness and connection to your full authentic self

Since I was 17, I’d always wanted to be a therapist. I learned that sometimes it takes more than just healing the mind in order to heal the whole person. That means that sometimes people need healing on emotional, psychological and spiritual levels. I then received two masters degrees, one in mental health counseling, and the other in the applied healing arts. Utilizing both these degrees has helped me to combine both traditional and alternative therapies into my work.
Life has a way of throwing us curveballs, and it can be quite the rollercoaster. Sometimes, it's downright overwhelming and even a bit scary. But taking this first step to acknowledge that you are hurting or in need of support, well, that's courageous. In a world where seeking help isn't always easy, the welcoming and friendly ear I have to offer may be the support you are looking for. I am passionate about validating your experiences, encouraging you to open up, and helping challenge the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that might be holding you back. It could be the weight of school, stress from work or home, relationship drama, turning to substances as a coping mechanism, or simply navigating the twists and turns of life. And, you know what? It's totally okay to need someone to chat with, someone who'll listen without judgment and with a ton of compassion. I've worked with people of all ages and use a mix of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), reality therapy, and motivational interviewing. This is a safe space where I encourage you to share your thoughts. I'll laugh with you, be your shoulder to lean on during tough times, and cheer you on every step of the way!

Hello, I am Dr. Young.
Life is full of colors. Light or dark, each has its unique quality. The secret to becoming successful in life is to change from the inside out.
We live to move forward, and it requires us to be more and do more. Resilience is an innate human capacity. In my view, everyone is capable of self-healing given the proper guidance and provided with supportive conditions. With a cultivated healthy sense of self, solutions appear with the clarity to think about what you desire in life, not what you cannot or don't have.
In tough water, even good swimmers might struggle. If you have dreams and hopes, I can help you acquire new skills as you navigate the waves of life. Let's work together!
