About me

Hello! I’m Tasha Medina (she/her), a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in Applied Behavioral Sciences and my Master of Social Work degree from Temple University. My Experience My background includes over 20+ years of experience working in the mental health field. Our therapeutic relationship is one of the essential factors in the therapeutic process. I love to be part of your healing and discovery journeys. I aim to help you reach your full growth, healing, and wellness potential. Therapy Goals My goal as the therapist is to make you feel comfortable, validated, and empowered throughout the therapeutic work that we do together. I take a more supportive role, and compassion is paramount to me. To help you reach those goals, I may use a variety of approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered and Narrative therapy approaches that focus on building trust and an authentic rapport. We’ll address your unique concerns and resolve a variety of life’s challenges together. The old narratives or “stories” we tell ourselves are sometimes destructive and impede personal growth. I’m here to help you find understanding and a path forward.

I had been struggling with my mental health for quite some time and had finally decided it was time to take action. Tasha was my third attempt to be seen by someone on grow after the first two were no longer accepting patients but so it fits quite well that third time really was the charm. Tasha was extremely kind, warm, and welcoming. Therapy has never been something I had felt very good about or that I was getting anything out of, but with Tasha it has been a total 180. She. Not only has the warm and kind presence to make you feel welcome, but the actual knowledge and experience to truly address my concerns and make me & my issues feel validated. This has truly been an eye opening experience for me and I look forward to meeting with her again.
