Hello! I’m Tasha Medina (she/her), a licensed clinical social worker (LSW). I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in Applied Behavioral Sciences and my Master of Social Work degree from Temple University. My Experience My background includes over 20+ years of experience working in the mental health field. Our therapeutic relationship is one of the essential factors in the therapeutic process. I love to be part of your healing and discovery journeys. I aim to help you reach your full growth, healing, and wellness potential. Therapy Goals My goal as the therapist is to make you feel comfortable, validated, and empowered throughout the therapeutic work that we do together. I take a more supportive role, and compassion is paramount to me. To help you reach those goals, I may use a variety of approaches such as Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered and Narrative therapy approaches that focus on building trust and an authentic rapport. We’ll address your unique concerns and resolve a variety of life’s challenges together. The old narratives or “stories” we tell ourselves are sometimes destructive and impede personal growth. I’m here to help you find understanding and a path forward.
