Hello there! Thank you for stopping by and taking the first steps towards your self improvement journey. I invite you to envision the best version of yourself, capable of managing uncomfortable emotions, inner thoughts, and life challenges that might be troubling you. Together, we will work to help you reach your personal breakthroughs, find inner balance, & hope. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of PA & NJ. I received my Masters degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College and have been providing mental health services for the last 6 years. I have experience working with clients who are struggling with stress and anxiety, motivation, self esteem/confidence, career difficulties, life changes/ transitions, peer relationships, & depression. I am also a bilingual therapist (English & Spanish speaking) and have experience providing cultural sensitive and trauma informed care. My therapeutic style is Client-Centered and Eclectic, where I honor everyone's ability and capacity for change and healing. Through our work, I will hold in high esteem that you are the expert in your own life. My role will be to support and guide you through the use of various evidence-based therapeutic techniques and emphasis on self empowerment and self compassion. *Disclaimer - Please note that I do not offer/complete the following services: Emotional Support Animal letters/evals, custody evaluations, Court-ordered treatment, Worker's compensation evaluation, Disability evaluation, FMLA paperwork*

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I will ask several questions related to your background and history that will help me understand your current challenges and reasons why your are seeking therapy. Together we will discuss and identify specific problems you would like to work on in future therapy sessions, along with forming a plan to help you achieve your unique goal.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have found great value when helping others by being a compassionate and empathetic practitioner. I strive to be my authentic self with clients and I understand its an honor and privilege to play a part in each person's journey. I connect well with clients through my ability of creating a safe space, actively listening, and asking questions that elicit self awareness with curiosity and non judgment.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I have found person-centered approach successful in my practice as I strongly believe everyone has the ability to find their personal breakthroughs within themselves, sometimes we just need a bit of guidance to find those answers. I am here to help guide you in that process.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I enjoy incorporating mindfulness based strategies into my practice to help clients find inner balance by teaching how to connect to the "here and now", improving ability to self regulate emotions, and ground self.

Eclectic

An eclectic approach has allowed me to adapt treatment methods and techniques to each client's unique needs and helped me as a therapist meet my client's where they are at. I utilize Mindfulness, solution focused, strength based, client centered, CBT, trauma informed, and relational/ interpersonal therapy.

Strength-Based

I have found great value in strength based techniques as it helps my clients discover and understand their unique strengths and how to put their strengths into practice to overcome life challenges.

Trauma Informed Care

I incorporate trauma informed care into my practice by creating a non judgmental safe environment for my clients where they can identify, explore, and process how negative traumatic experiences have shaped their world view, affect their emotions, thoughts, and relationships with others in the present day.
