I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College and have been providing mental health services for the past seven years. My therapeutic style is Psychodynamic, Client-Centered, and Eclectic. I believe that understanding the patterns beneath our emotions and relationships can help us find deeper healing and self-awareness. In our first session, I will ask you several questions about your background, history, and current life circumstances to better understand what brings you to therapy. Together, we will explore your current challenges and begin identifying the specific areas you’d like to focus on in future sessions. By the end of our initial meeting, we’ll start developing a collaborative plan to help you work toward your personal goals and create meaningful, lasting change.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in authenticity, empathy, and insight. I help clients explore the deeper meaning behind their emotions and patterns while maintaining a compassionate, non-judgmental space for growth. I balance curiosity with evidence-based strategies that empower clients to build self-awareness, emotional resilience, and lasting change. I consider it's a privilege to be part of each person’s journey toward healing and self-discovery.
I work well with individuals who are ready to reflect, grow, and gain deeper insight into their emotions and patterns. I frequently work with clients experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, life transitions, and depression. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck or uncertain, and through our work, they begin to build awareness, self-compassion, and the confidence to create meaningful change.
I have found the Person-Centered approach to be deeply effective in my practice. I believe that every individual holds the capacity for growth, healing, and self-understanding , sometimes we just need the right environment and support to uncover those inner resources. In our sessions, I strive to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, accepted, and empowered to explore your thoughts and emotions. My role is to guide you with empathy and curiosity as you discover your own insights, strengths, and personal breakthroughs.
An Eclectic approach allows me to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs and meet them exactly where they are in their journey. I integrate techniques from several evidence-based modalities, including Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based, Client-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Relational/Interpersonal Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. This flexibility helps me create a personalized and dynamic treatment experience that honors your individuality while supporting insight, emotional growth, and meaningful change.
My Psychodynamic approach focuses on helping clients gain insight into how their past experiences, relationships, and internal patterns influence their present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By increasing this awareness, clients can begin to understand the “why” behind their struggles and make lasting changes from a place of self-compassion and clarity. In our work together, I aim to create a safe and reflective space where you can explore your emotions, uncover patterns that may be holding you back, and strengthen your sense of self. This approach often leads to greater emotional understanding, healthier relationships, and a deeper connection to your authentic self.
