(she/her)
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care that meets the unique needs of each individual and family. With advanced training in counseling and behavioral health, I specialize in treating adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. Moreover, I am committed to providing culturally sensitive care, utilizing trauma-informed practices, and supporting families through life transitions.
Clients working with me can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental, and safe environment in which they are encouraged to be themselves. It is my goal to establish a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and cultural sensitivity. My sessions are collaborative and goal-oriented, designed to help clients gain deeper insight, and effective coping skills.
As a provider, I believe my greatest strengths lie in my ability to build trust, provide culturally responsive care, and integrate evidence-based interventions with a trauma-informed lens. I bring a strong clinical foundation in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and strengths-based approaches, which allows me to tailor treatment to meet the unique needs of each client.
No matter what the issue is, whether it is anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral challenges, or life transitions, my goal is to help clients feel empowered and more confident in their daily lives. As a result, you will have practical tools for managing stress, setting boundaries, improving communication, and fostering healthy relationship.
In my practice, I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge maladaptive thought patterns, increase emotional regulation, and develop healthier coping strategies. Treatment typically begins with psychoeducation to help clients understand the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
