I’m Jeff. I know that there are so many misguided beliefs about therapy that it can seem too overwhelming to give it a try. However, as your therapist, it’s my job to coach you through the discomfort and encourage you to make insights into lasting change. Therapy doesn’t have to be a complete upheaval process or drastic edit to your identity. I work with my clients by empowering them to hone in on their strengths and believe in their desired outcomes. With small, thoughtful reflections and inspired actions, we can improve your life exponentially.

Meet Atrews Bell, LMHC
Atrews Bell, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals navigating mental health, behavioral health, substance use, and life challenges. His approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and the belief that meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported.
Throughout his career, Atrews has worked with individuals facing complex and challenging circumstances, including crisis situations, behavioral health concerns, substance use, and major life transitions. These experiences have given him a unique perspective on the many factors that can affect a person's emotional well-being—and the importance of creating a safe, judgment-free environment where clients can be honest about what they are experiencing.
Since 2023, Atrews has served as a Regional Mental Health Manager with Armor Correctional Services, providing leadership and oversight for behavioral health programming and clinical operations. Previously, he served as Mental Health Director at the St. Johns County Jail in St. Augustine, Florida, where he supervised a multidisciplinary behavioral health team and developed crisis-management treatment plans and quality-improvement initiatives.
His professional experience has also included developing re-entry programming and substance-use follow-up planning designed to help individuals successfully transition back into their communities. These experiences have strengthened his understanding of resilience, recovery, accountability, and the importance of having the right support system during difficult seasons of life.
As a therapist, Atrews brings both clinical experience and genuine compassion to his work. He understands that reaching out for counseling can be a significant step, and he strives to meet each client where they are without judgment. Whether you are working through stress, emotional challenges, relationship concerns, substance-use issues, life transitions, or simply want to better understand yourself, Atrews is committed to helping you identify your strengths, develop practical tools, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate stress, trauma, life transitions, and emotional burnout. My approach is warm, practical, and goal-focused and I work to create a safe space while also helping you develop real tools you can use in everyday life. I’m especially passionate about supporting people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or carrying responsibilities for everyone else, and I believe meaningful change happens when insight and action come together.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of North and South Carolina. I graduated from Liberty University in 2013. My approach to counseling is very eclectic and person-centered. I have experience in the utilization of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Family Therapy (FT), Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), and I also assist clients with implementing forms of meditation into their daily lifestyle. I aim to empower each person I am allowed to serve, and to assist them with understanding that each person can heal, cope, and/or adapt despite life's challenges. The power to create change is within each one of us, and my job is to assist you with that process.
I approach therapy as a relational process, not a place where you come to be fixed. You’re not a problem to solve; you’re a person with a history, patterns that make sense, and a way of being in the world that developed for a reason. In our work together, we slow things down and get curious about what’s underneath the surface. I’m interested in who you are, not just what’s wrong. My goal is to create a space that feels real, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental, where you can begin to understand yourself more deeply and move toward something that feels more connected and meaningful.
You might be here because life feels heavier than it should, your thoughts won’t slow down, or you’re tired of trying to hold everything together on your own. As a licensed therapist in Pennsylvania, I work with people who are navigating stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self‑doubt, and the everyday challenges that can leave you feeling overwhelmed or stuck.
My approach is down‑to‑earth and collaborative. I don’t believe in one‑size‑fits‑all therapy — your experiences, your pace, and your goals matter. Together, we’ll explore what’s getting in the way, build practical tools you can use in real life, and create space for you to feel understood without judgment.
I draw from evidence‑based practices, but just as importantly, I bring compassion, curiosity, and respect for your unique story. Whether you’re working on managing emotions, improving focus, building confidence, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more capable, and more connected to the life you want to live.
I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, panic, chronic worry, stress, and burnout using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches. I also work with clients experiencing depression, trauma-related symptoms, and life transitions that feel overwhelming or hard to manage alone. In my practice, this means we focus on both understanding what’s happening in this moment and identifying patterns that no longer serve you. Depending on your needs, I may also integrate mindfulness-based strategies, trauma-informed care, behavioral activation, and attachment-focused interventions to support deeper emotional healing and stability. My approach focuses on building real-life tools to help you feel more steady, confident, and in control. It is structured, supportive, and collaborative. CBT is a major focus of my work, meaning we identify thought patterns, emotional responses, and behavioral cycles that keep anxiety, depression and low self esteem going—and actively work to change them in practical ways.

I’m a trauma-informed therapist with over 20 years of experience supporting people through their healing journey. I bring deep empathy, compassion, and a holistic approach that honors your mind, body, and spirit.
As a marathoner, I understand the strength it takes to keep going — even when the path feels long. I believe in the power of listening to your intuition and gently rebuilding trust in yourself. A big dog lover, I also bring warmth, presence, and genuine care into every session.
This work is my true purpose, and I feel incredibly grateful to do it. I especially love working with motivated clients who are ready to invest in themselves — those who want to explore different ways of healing, take ownership of their growth, and show up with courage and insight.
If you’ve experienced trauma and are ready to do the meaningful work of healing, I would be truly honored to walk this path with you. You’ve already taken a brave step by being here, and I’m so glad you are.
I have had the privilege of walking alongside couples and families through some of their most difficult seasons, helping marriages rebuild trust, communication, and emotional connection after deep hurt and trauma. Over the years, I have supported children recovering from the effects of trauma and sexual abuse, guiding them toward safety, stability, and renewed confidence. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, trauma‑informed care that honors each client’s story. My background in Christian counseling further allows me to support clients who desire faith‑based guidance as they work toward restoration and healing.
I have worked for many years as a counselor and therapist. I believe that everyone has a story; and every story should be valued and deeply understood. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples and families unpack their stories and move toward healing from individual hurts and broken relationships. I named my practice Strength for Living because the journey sometimes gets too difficult to manage alone; we sometimes need help to find strength to keep moving forward. I use a variety of treatments to meet clients where they are, and help them move toward hope and recovery. Trauma-informed, evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and emotionally focused therapy can help you take a deeper look at your experiences and the patterns that interrupt your relationships with others. Taking a deep look at your own painful experiences can be hard work! Digging into your thoughts and feelings can be scary. It can also be your first step toward healing and restoration. If you are suffering, don't continue to suffer alone. Strength for Living is here to offer a safe place to begin your journey toward healing.
There are times in our lives when we feel uncertain- may be questioning direction or unsure of the path to continue on. I have been there and my desire is to help you in this time. Whether you are experiencing grief, struggling with a life transition, having a difficult time connecting with others, or are just struggling in general- you don’t have to do it alone.
I am passionate about this work and have spent the last 14 years supporting individuals in major life transitions - often times where there lives had been at rock bottom and I had the honor of helping them to find their light again. Throughout that time in my career I learned many things and want to help apply that knowledge to supporting you. I have a passion for helping people find joy in difficult seasons and have experienced abrupt changes and the importances of finding support. I want you to leave our sessions feeling like you have a plan and that a weight has been lifted.
Welcome! I’m Gina. First off, take a second to give yourself credit for being here. Taking that first step toward therapy is a big deal and honestly, it can feel empowering, confusing, and a little scary all at once. I am a licensed therapist that has been working in the field for over 15 years. I have been in outpatient care for the past 8 years and have experience working with all ages.
I am a empathetic and creative mental health counselor who believes in meeting each person where they are with understanding, respect, and an open mind. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered to explore their experiences, build resilience, and discover their strengths.
My approach integrates mindfulness, empowerment, and evidence-based therapeutic strategies. I encourage clients to develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, healthy coping skills, and a deeper understanding of the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I believe growth requires both compassion and courage - the ability to accept ourselves as we are while remaining open to becoming who we want to be. Through compassion and empowerment, I hope to help individuals embrace their imperfections, take accountability for their choices, and recognize the change is possible, even when the journey feels difficult.
I am Nakia, a licensed clinical social worker in Philadelphia, and over the past 13 years I’ve had the privilege of supporting people in both mental health and healthcare settings. That experience taught me that real progress begins when you feel heard and respected. My practice is built around a client-centered approach, so you’re never a passive participant in your care. Together, we’ll set goals that matter to you and work at a pace that feels right. I work with adults and older adults facing difficulties in life including but not limited to depression, anxiety, grief, and the unique challenges many women experience. Sessions are available in person and by telehealth, so support can fit into your life. I’d be glad to hear from you.
That feeling you can’t quite put into words, the ache of wishing things had unfolded differently, missing the person you were before an illness, grieving the relationship you longed for, navigating the end of a marriage, or mourning the future you imagined for yourself or your child, that is grief. Grief is not limited to physical death; it touches every season of unexpected transition, unmet expectations, and profound life change.
Walking alongside individuals through these tender, vulnerable spaces is my life’s work. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker serving clients across Pennsylvania and Delaware, my clinical passion is rooted in helping people navigate grief in all its forms. That dedication was shaped by over a decade of experience in hospice care, where I learned firsthand how honoring pain allows healing to begin.
Because no two journeys of loss look the same, my approach is deeply person-centered and trauma-informed. I view your story through a family systems lens, recognizing how relationships, roles, and family dynamics shape how you carry pain. In our sessions, we balance gentle, compassionate space with practical tools, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize, gently challenge, and reframe the automatic negative thoughts that often accompany sorrow, guilt, and uncertainty. You do not have to carry this alone

All behavior is purposeful. This means that we never do anything for no reason. Even when our behavior appears confusing or counterproductive to our values, our behavior has meaning and purpose. Therapy is a setting where we can gain insight about the origins of our perceptions, thinking and behavior. With clearer understanding, we are better equipped to identify factors within our control and consider alternative responses to our conditions. We gain awareness of the needs that are being met by potentially self-defeating thinking or behaviors and have a special opportunity to practice new thinking in the safety of therapy.

I hold a BA in psychology with a minor in children's studies and a master's degree in social work. I was licensed as a clinical social worker in Florida in 2020. I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience working with children and adults. I have primarily worked within school systems as an on-site therapist; as well as in my own private practice. I work with people who have a variety of concerns, including: trauma, attachment, grief and loss, divorce, school problems, anxiety and depression, life-phase transitions, and family conflicts. I value an eclectic and prescriptive therapeutic model, and am skilled at shifting gears when the need arises.
My specialty is working with children 2 to 12. As a registered play therapist/supervisor, I understand the language that children routinely use to communicate: play. Through play therapy, children can explore new roles, act out challenging situations, and re-work beliefs about themselves and others. In parent-child play therapy (with younger children), we work together to build secure and safe connections, practice new ways of communicating, and foster JOY in your interactions.
In addition to play therapy, I have trained extensively in EMDR (for children and adults), Jungian sandtray, the Oaklander Model of Gestalt Play therapy, Mindfulness, and Theraplay. Every one of these modalities is meant to foster relationships built on safety, warmth, security, and trust.
My work with adult clients can be described as "going deep." I especially enjoy working with adult women going through life transitions (career, family, spiritual). In addition, I am interested in working with other therapists who experience clinical burnout.
In my life outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, crocheting, reading, yoga, walking, petting my cats, and spending time in nature.

Hello, I am Dr. Young.
The secret to becoming successful in life is to change from the inside out. In my view, everyone is capable of self-healing given proper guidance and supportive conditions. With acceptance and appreciation of what you can do, possible solutions previously not in sight start to appear organically.
My interventions are based on our collaboration and leverage your own experiences, beliefs, and behavioral patterns to drive change. I am committed to creating a safe space for you. Together we uncover your strengths to use in our work together as we decrease obstacles standing your way.
My work is rooted in mindfulness and the understanding that "we do not harvest our inner crop on the same day we plant the seed". I look forward to partnering with you in your journey.
When I am not working, I enjoy knitting. Knitting, much like therapy, is a process of creating something meaningful stitch by stitch.
I am an open-minded, flexible, and compassionate mental health professional who recognizes that every client is unique. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so I strive to meet clients where they are and adapt my style to best support their individual needs and goals. I value authenticity, collaboration, and creating a safe space where clients feel heard and understood.
My professional experience includes working as a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) therapist, where I supported individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. I currently work as a school counselor, helping students navigate academic, social, emotional, and personal concerns.
Outside of my professional role, I enjoy reading books, watching a variety of TV shows, spending quality time with family and friends, and exploring new restaurants. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I love discovering new places and experiences, which helps me bring curiosity, openness, and a genuine appreciation for different perspectives into my work with clients.
I have an LPC and an LMFT and have been seeing clients since 1996. I have extensive training in helping people who are going through or have experienced narcissistic abuse and any form of childhood trauma, this includes verbal and emotional abuse, family addictions, or any early childhood experience that would cause one to feel unsafe. I am also experienced in the treatment of anxiety, worry and mood concerns and work with addictions, obsessive compulsive behaviors and any poor coping skills or core beliefs that were developed in order to manage these stressors. I use practices primarily focused on somatic and cognitive therapy but also utilize acceptance commitment therapy, internal family systems, mindfulness and am solution focused. I use homework and assignments aimed at regulating the nervous system in order to repair the fight/flight/freeze response that is often stuck on due to a continuous history of a variety of life stressors (trauma). This trapped and stored trauma continues to trigger the nervous system to respond in ways where we continue to feel unsafe, even after the threats have passed. By working with the nervous system to release this trapped trauma and find safety, we can then have the opportunity to respond to the world differently.
