About me

Hi. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist in Pennsylvania. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and I've been practicing for 24 years. I enjoy working with both males and females from 18-64. I help clients improve their coping strategies, retrain the way they think about things, and give them the confidence they need to tackle their challenges they deal with in their daily lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session together will be an "intake" session. I will ask you questions about what brought you to therapy and gather some other background information so we can create a plan of what you'd like to acheive in therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I'm a great listener, empathetic, intuitive and help my clients feel comfortable coming to therapy.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Due to my many years in the field, I've worked with a variety of clients from all age groups. My biggest strength is working with clients, who struggle with anxiety and OCD disorders as well as clients who have relationship issues.

I am not sure what drew me to Karen over the other provider. Her profile seemed genuine, she seemed caring but also strong enough to make one stop and think in a gentle way. Im very thankful I have her in my life. Someone who listens to my concerns and anxieties and gives me a direction to go with them. Before speaking to Karen I was all over the place and within 3 or 4 sessions I feel more grounded and am learning my self worth. Thankful.

Her profile seemed sincere and had alot of experience in what I am looking for. She took the time to listen to my concerns, asked for some details and noted them and helped me get started on my healing journey. She seemed to genuinely care and gave me feed back that made me feel my heard. :)
