As a social worker dedicated to helping others maximize their abilities, I am eager to work with others who are looking to manage life enough to feel successful for themselves through SMALL CHANGES. Recognizing that life is busy, hectic, demanding, and complicated, I am here to help you streamline aspects of your life by managing your THOUGHTS, FEELINGS, and BEHAVIORS. I prefer BRIEF INTERVENTIONS (short-term episodes of care) and explore SOLUTION-FOCUSED STRATEGIES.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College and 30 years of experience across diverse settings. My preferred therapeutic approaches include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am open-minded and respectful, believing that everyone is doing their best within their unique circumstances. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life's challenges.
I love what I do as a Licensed Clinical Therapist. To me, there's no better job than showing people how to use their minds to work for them instead of against them by getting past their mental blocks and past traumas so they don't have to suffer any longer.
Specifically, I work with two groups - couples and parents. Couples that aren't communicating very well that have lost that once special connection with their partner and parents struggling with their children's behaviors.

I am a full-time school counselor, but work part-time as a therapist. Prior to becoming a school counselor, I worked in the mental health field for over 15 years in multiple roles. I enjoy helping adolescents and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns to identify strategies that allow them to manage and/or overcome these concerns. I tend to use an eclectic mix of person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy when working with clients. I also have been trained in mindfulness to assist my clients.
I also understand the difficulties one might face related to the current societal climate as it relates to LGBTQ+ population and race. I believe it is important for clients to have a safe space to share
the microaggressions, discrimination, and/or hate that one may face. I believe that I can be that safe space for all individuals.
In my free-time, I am enjoy spending time with my family. During this time, we like to do things outdoors, such as playing pickleball, hiking, paddleboarding, or just relaxing.
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counseling in Pennsylvania. I am passionate about providing strength-based, trauma-informed, and culturally competent care to support mental health. I am committed to supporting adults with navigating transitions and life challenges and learning to approach life with attitudes of self-compassion and self-acceptance. I use cognitive behavioral approaches in an individualized manner to encourage positive and sustainable change.
Welcome! My name is Dru Bleem. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I have 10+ years of experience in the counseling field. I am currently certified as a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist and a Certified Professional Trauma Specialist. I work with ages 5 and up in person and via telehealth. Ideally, I prefer to see the children in person as I feel that I can utilize play therapy more effectively in the office. The modality I use is primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which focuses on thoughts, feelings, and our behaviors. I am non traditional in the sense that I recognize not one approach to therapy works for everyone and I don't always need to be sitting in my chair to provide effective counseling. I believe movement is healing and at times you will see me move about the office and encourage movement in your life.

Hi! I'm Suzanne and I've been a clinical social worker for over 30 years. I’m a warm and engaging therapist who believes that people are pretty much born with what they need to be healthy and happy-but get covered over and need help getting to that part of themselves. Therapy is like gently peeling back the layers of an onion to help you discover the answers. I don’t tell you what to do. I help you figure it for yourself!
As of 1/7/2025 only accepting individual clients for new referrals!
My passion is working with children, teenagers, young adults, couples and families to process trauma and difficult experiences so they can experience growth and healing within themselves and their relationships. Through my work with individuals and family's I have learned the deep importance of understanding "what has happened" to people rather than viewing people through the lens of "what is wrong with people". Likewise, the importance of understanding one's family of origin and how this shapes our views of people and the world and impacts how we relate with people and navigate our world. I work from a relational, psychodynamic, family-systems, trauma-informed, and neurobiological perspective. Feel free to reach out for more information!

Hi. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Pennsylvania. I have a PhD in Educational Psychology and a Masters degree in Music Therapy. I also got a certification in Gestalt therapy by going to a 3 year training program. Over my career I have worked with many different populations and in many different settings. My basic approach to therapy is to use the tools and techniques that I've developed to help people become unstuck and to grow and to reach toward their full potential.
Hello. I look forward to working with you. My own background is one of growing up on farms, having little money and ambitious dreams. I did not know what it was but I knew I wanted to go to college and get out of the tobacco fields. My dreams came true. I ended up being a psychologist and a teacher, spending decades working in residential treatment then in schools, the last 13 years working with preschoolers and their families to prepare them to succeed in school. As a teacher, I taught many college and university courses as well as workshops, most recently to address grief and trauma. I am also an artist, a dancer and a writer and like to bring co-creativity to others.
In the early 1990's, I felt led to live and work at or near the world center of Quakers called Pendle Hill in PA. There I studied and taught Arts and Spirituality while also serving as a Psychologist in nearby schools. I came to see the importance of Co-Creativity (creating together a piece of life we truly want to live for). My specialties in the Arts have been writing, visual arts and dancing/movement from a "no wrong way" perspective. I incorporate these into the therapy process as they become beneficial.
For much of my life, I have also been engaged with my own therapeutic process. Having been the client for several years, gives me the perspective of what might be important to you as we work together, never assuming I know or forgetting to ask you.
In our sessions, I want to hear about you, find our starting points and from there develop action plans each session to work on the goals needed to find the life you dream of and are willing to work toward.

Hi, I'm Cory Ian Shafer, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with my Masters in Counseling. I have been practicing professionally in the counseling field since 2005 and have worked in the mental health field since 1999.
I approach therapy primarily as a Jungian-Existentialist, however, I also realize that many clients may need different approaches to achieve their success, and because of that I also incorporate an eclectic approach towards therapy in addition to my primary school of thought, therefore I can utilize many different modalities and approaches of therapy depending on the what you need in your sessions.
My specializations are working with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and grief counseling. I also like to write a little bit and have published a few books concerning the human condition. On the personal side of things I lead a simple and quiet life, where I enjoy reading history, science fiction and philosophy books, playing the bass guitar, listening to music, traveling and amateur astronomy.

I believe you are the expert of your own life. My focus is on creating a space where you feel safe, valued, and free to explore your emotions without judgment. Whether you're navigating trauma, life transitions, or the weight of self-doubt, my commitment is to help you reconnect with your inner resilience and wisdom. This isn’t about fixing you—because you aren’t broken. It’s about empowering you: to honor your feelings, reclaim your confidence, and move forward in ways that align with your truth. Your goals, your pace, your voice—they guide every step. No matter where you are in your journey, I’m here to remind you: You are capable. You matter. And you don’t have to do this alone.
Hello, and welcome! My introduction to the counseling field began while working within therapeutic group homes that served children through adults experiencing mental health struggles. This experience, both enriching and meaningful, inspired my interest in pursuing counseling. I was deeply moved by the varying degrees of challenging life experiences that we are all tasked with navigating and the ways we attempt to cope, gain insight from, and hopefully transform our adverse circumstances. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University and since, I’ve had the opportunity to assist a diverse range of clients in both inpatient treatment and outpatient therapy settings, and more recently, at a college counseling clinic at the University of Montana. Within these programs, I’ve helped clients address anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, academic challenges, relationships, identity changes, sexuality, and general life stressors.
I am grateful that I can work to help individuals navigate the evolving nature of their lives by providing unconditional positive regard, encouragement, and supportive guidance.
Hey, I am Alyssa.
Are you looking for someone to help guide you through some life and behavioral changes that have been a struggle? Do you notice difficulty managing moods, communicating effectively with others, and/or giving yourself compassion?
I am excited and ready to travel that journey with you and offer a nonjudgemental, safe environment, to build a real therapeutic relationship. I use evidence-based interventions within a dialectical behavior therapy approach that incorporates mindfulness skills and love and kindness. I center my practice around the belief that we are a team and need each other to achieve your goals, as you are the specialist on you, and I am the specialist on the skills.
It can be scary reaching out for help, and I have a safe space for you to start! If you are struggling with a life event, daily stress, depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation, or impulsivity there is hope. You do not need to feel stuck or alone in the struggle anymore! I look forward to working together.
Hello, and welcome. My name is Ayanna Gellineau, and I’m a trauma-focused therapist committed to helping individuals reconnect with themselves in safe, meaningful ways. I work from the belief that healing is possible when we feel seen, supported, and empowered to make sense of our stories — at our own pace, in our own voice.
I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, and life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected — and they’re often carrying unspoken pain from past experiences. My role is to hold space for your healing, offering a steady presence and a collaborative approach that centers your needs. I honor the courage it takes to begin this work and view therapy as a partnership rooted in trust, safety, and mutual respect.
I use evidence-based, trauma-informed practices that may include mindfulness, somatic awareness, inner child work, and cognitive-behavioral techniques — always tailored to your unique story. My style is warm, curious, and affirming. I will meet you where you are and support you in moving forward with clarity and compassion.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and have experience working in community mental health and private practice settings. My approach is grounded in cultural humility, and I value the complexity of each client’s identity and lived experience.
If you're looking for a therapist who listens deeply, honors your pace, and offers a space where all parts of you are welcome — you’re in the right place. Therapy is not about fixing you; it’s about helping you reconnect with the strength and wisdom that’s already within you.
I look forward to walking alongside you in your healing journey.
Have you been feeling overwhelmed lately? Have you been feeling depressed and isolated? Are you struggling with worry and fears? Are you finally ready to take that step and talk with someone? I understand how meeting with a therapist for the first time can feel scary and overwhelming. I work very hard to provide a safe space where clients can feel free to openly talk about what they are struggling with. I have been working with clients for 22 years to help them identify their goals and figure out what they need to move forward and experience a happier, more fulfilling life.
My name is Kim Ring and I have had the opportunity to work in many different settings in the mental health field, such as outpatient, inpatient, drug and alcohol rehabs, and home-based work. Because of my vast experience I have worked with many types of clients where I have gained invaluable experience. I have worked with clients struggling with mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, life adjustment issues, grief and loss and parenting issues. I have had clients tell me they like my approach because I am genuine and direct. I believe that in order to help clients we need to put a mirror to them and be honest about what might be holding them back. Sometimes people just need support and someone to help them navigate a difficult time. I look forward to meeting you.
I can help find relief and lasting change. This begins with the very useful concept of two simultaneous paths when struggling in life...
1- How can clients ADDRESS, or take action to remedy or lessen, the sources of their struggles?
2- How clients COPE in effective healthy ways?
Addressing and coping are central in my work, and clients find this CBT approach to be highly valuable and effective.
I’m Michael Pospisil Jr, Licensed Professional Counselor. I’ve been a counselor for fourteen years, holding several positions in hospital systems and the private sector. My role as your therapist is to support you; by providing you with tools that empower insight and help you to integrate experience, emotion, and behavior. So that we can navigate you to toward positive change through self support.
All behavior is purposeful. This means that we never do anything for no reason. Even when our behavior appears confusing or counterproductive to our values, our behavior has meaning and purpose. Therapy is a setting where we can gain insight about the origins of our perceptions, thinking and behavior. With clearer understanding, we are better equipped to identify factors within our control and consider alternative responses to our conditions. We gain awareness of the needs that are being met by potentially self-defeating thinking or behaviors and have a special opportunity to practice new thinking in the safety of therapy.

Hello! I have almost 30 years experience in the mental health field. I specifically find meaningful work with families in the LGBTQ community who have difficulty navigating life in this world of hate and prejudice. I am open to helping anyone who wants to make changes to have a more meaningful and happier life!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I received my Master's Degree from Chatham University in Pittsburgh and have been providing therapy services for 14 years. I have worked with adolescents, adults, and married couples. I help clients struggling with an array of life and mental health concerns move forward with their mental health and overall functioning.
It would be my pleasure to work with you! My name is Kim Sylla and I have been interested in the field of social services since childhood when I enthusiastically listened to the life stories of those around me including friends, neighbors and extended relatives. This interest grew with with my first therapist volunteer experience -- at the age of 20 -- with individuals who had substance use and mental health disorders. Since then I have had a wide array of additional volunteer and work experiences with adults and adolescents undergoing various life challenges at work, school, home and in the larger community. My varied experience, training and education prepared me to use an integrative therapeutic approach that draws on cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and ecological systems theory.
My approach to therapy is client-centered and solution-focused, providing a balance of empathy and insight. As an individual and a couples therapist, I strive to create an environment where both men and women feel comfortable and engaged in the process. Whether you're looking to improve your mental health or your relationships, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
Hello. My name is John Petkac and I have been providing psychotherapy services for over 29 years. In addition to clinical psychology, I have background and education in music education, philosophy, spirituality and religion. My background and life experience gives me an ability to see a larger picture of situations in life and offer unique resolutions to things that may be occuring.
I am a strong believer in the individual's ability to address and resolve their own issues. Through the process of therapy, we will explore what has been working for you and what has not. It is my belief and practice to treat the person, not the symptoms or the problem. We will work on building and adding to the skills you already possess to help you to build a more fulfilling life.
An integral part of this process is assisting you in an increased understanding and awareness of yourself. Personal growth involves seeing and making informed choices. Therein lies the importance of self-awareness - there is no choice where there is no awareness. Raising a level of self-awareness increases your ability to have and make choices.
Through exploration of these factors and possibly more, we will work toward a resolution that works for you and one that allows you to live a fuller and happier life.

Hi, welcome.
I am so proud of you for taking the first step into your healing journey. My name is Erica and I have been working with children, adolescents, young adults and adults for over 15 years. I have a strong knowledge base of resources in the Philadelphia metro area.
I recently had my second child and currently only have DAYTIME availability due to current clients having established evening sessions.
I became a mom during COVID, which was a big transition for me and quite the journey. This means I can provide insight, compassion and knowledge about parenting issues, fertility struggles, traumatic labor and delivery and pregnancy loss.
My experience includes case management and psychiatric acute care or what people call partial hospitalization; basically, I ensured that myself and my team helped clients stabilize during or after a crisis.
I started my career in case management working with children and families, connecting them to community resources, and therapies, then I grew into acute care, running children and adolescent group therapy, family therapy and individual and crisis counseling. I have some experience in the Department of Corrections, addictions and juvenile justice. I returned to acute care, this time working with adults and then finally into individual counseling. Since most of my history is in acute care, I have a passion for working in crisis and trauma, working with all demographics. My extensive background in crisis and trauma allows me the compassion and space for those needing a little extra support, to check my email and text those clients throughout the day.
I have recently completed Rutgers Certificate Program in Trauma Response and Crisis Intervention, as well as Completed the Dare to Lead, program by Brene Brown.

Hello and welcome to Grow Therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have worked in the mental health field since 1998. First, with my bachelors degree and later doing clinical work after earning my master's degree.
I believe taking care of our mental health should be as accepted and routine as taking care of our physical health.
Therapy can help us to be the best versions of ourselves.
Life is a beautiful mess. Sometimes everything seems to be going our way. And other times, it can leave us feeling overwhelmed, confused, and off balance. I would like to offer guidance and support as you navigate those ups and downs.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with several years of experience helping people overcome a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and life transitions. I believe that everyone has the potential to heal and grow. In therapy, I help my clients to understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I also teach them coping skills and strategies for managing their anxiety, depression, or day to day stressors. My approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered. I believe that the best way to help someone is to listen to them and understand their unique needs. I also believe that therapy is a journey, not a destination. It takes time and effort to heal, but it is possible. If you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or day to day stress, I encourage you to reach out to me. I'm here to help you on your journey to healing.
I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist with over 30 years of experience in guiding individuals through life’s most challenging moments, including struggles with depression, anxiety, grief, anger management, family conflicts, and developing coping skills. I am deeply committed to empowering clients through a culturally and spiritually integrated approach that centers around the Alternative Christ-Like African Thematic Therapy (ACLATT) model.
ACLATT is a unique therapeutic model I developed specifically to support Christian clients of African descent. It integrates Christian values with African principles, providing a holistic, culturally sensitive healing experience. This approach emphasizes identity, love, faith, and hope, helping clients recognize their God-given potential and fostering a strong sense of purpose. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, supporting them in reframing perspectives and developing practical coping strategies.
My work is rooted in the belief that “Being precedes Doing”—by understanding one’s identity in Christ, clients are empowered to realize their gifts and purpose, which enriches their actions and overall well-being. Whether working with individuals, families, or couples, I am committed to helping clients achieve emotional healing, spiritual growth, and lasting transformation aligned with their cultural and spiritual values.
I am here to help with providing ways to get started in developing a new and happier you. I can offer nine years of very successful counseling experience where I offer comfort, hope, and ultimately progress! I graduated from the University of Alabama with a Master's Degree in Education/Counseling. I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief, women's issues, ptsd, bipolar, and relationships. Also I can help you overcome rejection, low self-esteem, work issues, anxiety, people pleaser tendencies, living in the past, guilt, addictions, how to stop living your life as the victim, and how to love and accept yourself. I am passionate about helping women struggling with self esteem and victimization.
I use evidence based modalities such as CBT and solution focused therapy. I will introduce you to grounding, mindfulness, and deep breathing techniques. I will get you started with proven coping strategies so you can see progress faster.
We will begin our journey together as we work in small steps that make sense to you. You will find that I am very easy to work with and every session will be meaningful and helpful.
I look forward to helping you to feel better and stronger. Feel free to make an appointment with me in the Grow calendar today.
Welcome!
I am a compassionate, trauma-informed therapist with extensive experience helping clients navigate some of life’s most challenging struggles. My areas of specialty include substance use disorders, process addictions, eating disorders, and trauma. I also have a strong background working with first responders, military service members, and their families, understanding the unique stressors, cultural dynamics, and mental health challenges.
I approach therapy with a client-centered and individualized perspective. I understand that no two journeys are the same, and I work collaboratively to create a safe, supportive space. My goal is to help you identify patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and gain insight into the underlying factors that may be influencing your behaviors and emotional responses.
In my work with substance use and process addictions, I focus on helping clients build resilience, identify triggers, and strengthen tools for relapse prevention. When supporting clients with eating disorders, I combine compassionate support with evidence-based interventions to address both the physical and psychological aspects of recovery. I also specialize in trauma-focused care, helping individuals process painful experiences in a safe and structured way, reducing emotional distress, and building emotional regulation skills.
Working with first responders and military clients, I understand the high levels of stress, trauma exposure, and unique cultural factors that can impact mental health. I provide practical tools, psychoeducation, and coping strategies to support emotional well-being while honoring the unique identity and experiences of each client.
Whether you are seeking to process trauma, heal from addiction, manage anxiety or depression, or improve your overall well-being, I am here to guide you. Together, we can create a treatment plan that aligns with your goals, fosters personal growth, and empowers you to live a more balanced and fulfilling life. You are not alone in this journey, and change is possible.
Hi, I'm Coreen!

I practice with a humanistic, relational lens, working to build trust in an empathetic, nonjudgmental environment and support you in setting individualized goals to meet your needs. I believe in the importance of self-compassion in fueling personal growth and will work hard to assist you in embodying your true self.

I am currently most effective and comfortable with working with adults and offer a wealth of knowledge and perspectives to support you with managing in this journey called 'Life'. I look forward to getting to know you better!
Dawn Seeburger completed her master’s degree in School Counseling with licensure at
Kutztown University. She has been practicing for over 10 years and is knowledgeable and confident in her work. With younger clients, she utilizes an interactive play therapy-based approach which includes games, sand tray, artwork, etc.
CBT and psychoeducation is also included during sessions. Dawn works with all ages from as young as 3 years old. Typically, she incorporates family members, when possible to help families improve relationships and make positive changes. If your child is struggling in the school environment, Dawn can help work through this and also collaborate with the teacher to develop a positive plan for success in the classroom.
Dawn also works with adult clients to resolve life stressors and reduce anxiety. She takes a very individualized approach and provides a listening ear and interactive feedback.
