Hi, there! I have been working in the mental health field since graduating with my Master’s in Counseling in 2015. I started out my counseling career providing Evidence-Based family therapies for several years before transitioning into providing individual counseling. I take an eclectic approach to therapy because everyone is unique and deserves treatment that is tailored to them. I love connecting with my clients and helping them find a more compassionate way to view themselves, highlight their strengths, and increase their confidence in their ability to live the life that they want. If you think we may be a good fit, reach out and I’d love to connect with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session I focus on getting to know you, your concerns, and your hopes for treatment. I am intentional about ensuring in this meeting that you are feeling comfortable with our dynamic and focus on setting goals for our time together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am very easy going and am incredibly strengths-based. My clients often describe me as warm and understanding, and share that I am easy to talk to during our first interaction. I love pushing you to make changes with tons of support from me, as this is how you increase your confidence and begin to feel better.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an integral part of my treatment philosophy, as we work together to explore your thought patterns and how these may be contributing to your distress. Once we assess this, we can begin shifting these to create a more desirable emotional and behavioral experience for you.

Trauma Informed Care

Our traumas, regardless their size, leave an impact. I help explore and assess how these may be contributing to current difficulties.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

In treatment, I look for patterns in how we relate with ourselves and those around us. In learning to tune into our emotions and learn what the need is behind them, we can begin to improve our navigation of relationships as well as emotional regulation.
