Hi there! I have been working in the mental health field since graduating with my Master’s in Counseling in 2015. I began my counseling career providing evidence-based family therapies for several years before transitioning to individual counseling. I take an eclectic approach to therapy because everyone is unique and deserves treatment that is tailored to their individual needs. I love connecting with my clients and helping them develop a more compassionate view of themselves, recognize their strengths, and build confidence in their ability to live the life they want. If you think we may be a good fit, I’d love for you to reach out so we can connect.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, I focus on getting to know you, your concerns, and your hopes for treatment, as well as gaining an understanding of your life experiences and how they have shaped you. I am intentional about ensuring that you feel comfortable with our dynamic while we begin to identify patterns and set collaborative goals for our time together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I am very easygoing and highly strengths-based in my approach. Clients often describe me as warm, understanding, and easy to talk to, even during our first interaction. I believe in gently pushing you toward meaningful change while providing plenty of support, as this is how confidence grows and lasting improvement begins.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I enjoy working with people who are curious and motivated to better understand themselves and their patterns, with the goal of breaking unhelpful cycles and building healthier ways of navigating life. I am a firm believer that you get out of therapy what you put into it, and I love helping clients connect the dots, recognize their inherent strengths, and learn how to work with their instincts rather than feeling the need to change who they are. Everyone brings their own unique “flavor” to life, and the world is better because of it.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an integral part of my treatment philosophy, as we work together to explore your thought patterns and how these may be contributing to your distress. Once we assess this, we can begin shifting these to create a more desirable emotional and behavioral experience for you.
Trauma Informed Care
I practice from a trauma-informed lens, recognizing how past experiences, chronic stress, and nervous system overwhelm can shape current patterns. Therapy is paced intentionally, with a focus on safety, empowerment, and collaboration, allowing us to build insight and skills without pushing beyond what feels manageable.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients better understand and make sense of their emotional experiences, especially when anxiety impacts connection and self-understanding. This approach supports emotional awareness, validation, and safety, helping you develop a more compassionate and secure relationship with yourself and others.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients experiencing anxiety and/or neurodivergence by helping them build a different relationship with anxious thoughts, intense emotions, and internal noise. Rather than trying to “get rid of” these experiences, we focus on increasing flexibility, self-compassion, and clarity around values, so you can take meaningful steps forward in ways that honor how your brain works.

Tracy is the type of person that when you talk to her, you feel like you've known her your whole life. She truly hears you and offers insight to the way you're feeling that feels solution-focused and empathetic. Never in my life have I had conversations, with a therapist or not, where I've felt so seen, understood, and validated. If you're looking for a therapist that feels like you're having a weekly facetime with someone who is going to GET it, Tracy is your person.
