Dr. Ayers has her Master's in Social Work from Fordham University, her MS in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University in Maryland, and her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Neumann University. Dr. Ayers is currently completing a second doctorate, a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.). Dr. Ayers utilizes an eclectic approach to her work, including Cognitive Behavioral, Existential - Meaning Centered, Solution Focused, Humanistic and Mindfulness based therapies. Dr. Ayers is affiliated with the American Red Cross as a Disaster Mental Health Manager and Instructor and has traveled throughout the United States assisting survivors of natural and human caused disasters, with a specialization in management/leadership roles in mass casualties.
