New to Grow
I'm a Philadelphia-based therapist who works with a client utilizing an attachment based and trauma informed approach. I often use humor during therapy sessions to make the process feel more approachable. I have experience working inpatient and outpatient with client's experiences trauma, PTSD, severe and persistent mental health and substance abuse. Outside of sessions, I enjoy running, spending time with my dog, and keeping up with my two kids.
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and a bit about your history, but there's no pressure to share more than you feel ready for. We'll also talk about what therapy with me looks like, and together we'll start shaping a plan that feels supportive and manageable for you.
My greatest strengths are creating a safe, nonjudgmental space and brining warmth and humor into the therapy process. I draw from attachment theory and trauma-informed approaches to help clients understand the deeper patterns in their lives, while also keeping our work practical and focused on real change. Clients often tell me they leave sessions feeling both supported and empowered with tools they can use right away.
I'm best positioned to serve clients who are navigating life transitions, recovering from trauma or seeking support after inpatient treatment. I enjoy working with anyone who wants to better understand their relationships, build resilience, and feel more grounded in who they are. My clients often come to therapy looking for a safe, supportive space where they can heal, grow and move toward lasting change.
My approach is grounded in attachment theory, which guides clients in understanding the impact of past relationships on present challenges. This framework supports deeper self-awareness and fosters stronger, more secure connections.
