In our first session together, here's what you can expect
It is important to be sure that the therapist client match is a good fit. The first session is an evaluation and is an opportunity to begin the journey to helping me understand how I may support and help you and to provide some strategies/tools that you may use going forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I feel a strength is providing feedback, empathy, listening. I have found that individuals feel better, may eventually stop therapy and then return when they want a tune up to address a new issue.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I have much experience working with adults and older adults and couples. Navigating the stages of life and relationships can often be challenging.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT in combination with understanding an individual with a psychodynamic approach as well as providing feedback and supporting individuals to meet their own goals and solutions.
Psychodynamic
I use a psychodynamic approach to understand an individuals origin and patterns that they have experienced.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I will support individuals to pursue their goals, taking incremental small steps to arrive at the solution they want.
