With 12 years experience as a counselor I am highly adaptable and tend to adjust my therapeutic style and approach to the needs of the specific, individual client. I utilize eclectic and psychodynamic therapy to build strong therapeutic alliances helping clients develop insights into their experiences and personal strengths which may be employed to impact and assist in navigating the struggles often encountered by human beings.
In the first session we will discuss your expectations for therapy, while getting to know one another. We will identify your personal reasons for seeking therapy and develop some initial goals to set the tone for future sessions.
My greatest therapeutic strength is my ability to promote and stimulate individuals toward introspective processes and the exploration of their own psyche.
My ideal client is self-searching and willing to explore their own internal dialogue with a willingnes to develop new skills in mindfulness or has a foundation and history of mindful practices. The client should be seeking to change something and willing to challenge their own biases and thought processes.

Joe continues to be an anchor in my life to help me talk through my thoughts and feelings in a safe and productive way. As we've discussed different events in my life, he's able to bring up different viewpoints and ideas that I may not have thought of by myself.
