Starting counseling can feel like a big step, and finding the right fit matters. I provide a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and respected as they explore their concerns and goals. I am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania with 10 years of experience, practicing from a humanistic, client-centered perspective. I work collaboratively with clients, offering thoughtful support and gentle encouragement while allowing them to set the pace and direction of therapy. I welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and life stages and am committed to providing professional, compassionate care that supports greater self-understanding, clarity, and emotional well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll spend some time getting to know each other and helping you feel comfortable in the space. You can share what’s been going on for you and what led you to seek counseling, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. As we talk, we’ll begin to explore what you’d like to work toward in therapy. Together, we’ll identify goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you, and outline gentle, supportive steps to help you make progress in the areas that matter most to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Over the past 10 years, I have worked closely with individuals and families, and developing a trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work. I focus on identifying and building on each client’s strengths to support growth, resilience, and progress toward their goals.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, mood changes, or ongoing stress. Many clients come to therapy wanting support in managing emotions, improving communication, and learning how to better advocate for their own needs. Together, we focus on building practical skills that support emotional balance, confidence, and healthier relationships. I also work with individuals who are struggling with substance use. Many people in this situation feel stuck or discouraged and may not yet have the coping tools needed to manage emotional stressors connected to substance use. In therapy, we work collaboratively to develop healthier coping strategies, increase self-awareness, and support meaningful, sustainable change in a nonjudgmental and supportive environment.

My treatment methods

Structural Family Therapy

In my work with individual clients, I use a family-systems perspective to help you understand how relationships, communication patterns, and past experiences may be influencing your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Rather than viewing concerns in isolation, this approach explores how family dynamics and learned roles can shape the way you relate to others and to yourself. Through this process, clients often gain insight into how both spoken and unspoken communication affects boundaries, emotional well-being, and decision-making. This perspective supports individuals in developing healthier patterns, strengthening self-awareness, and creating more intentional and fulfilling relationships in their daily lives.
