Hello! My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can process your experiences, deepen your understanding of yourself, and explore areas where healing is needed. I take a person-centered approach, meaning you lead the way in your journey while I follow—offering guidance, support, and tools as needed. I offer EMDR, IFS, CBT, and other modalities, tailoring our work to what feels most helpful and empowering for you. I also place a strong emphasis on connecting the mind and body, as many of us experience a disconnect between the two. For those who are interested, I incorporate elements of energy therapy—drawing on yogic principles, Usui Reiki, and other approaches—to support your healing process. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and experiences, and I offer specific support for those seeking culturally sensitive therapy, honoring your unique story and identity throughout our work together. For mental health tips, cultural insights, and therapist content, follow my professional Instagram: @the_unfiltered_desi_therapist. All content shared is for educational purposes only and is not therapy or a replacement for therapeutic care.

Hello. My name is John Petkac and I have been providing psychotherapy services for over 29 years. In addition to clinical psychology, I have background and education in music education, philosophy, spirituality and religion. My background and life experience gives me an ability to see a larger picture of situations in life and offer unique resolutions to things that may be occuring. I am a strong believer in the individual's ability to address and resolve their own issues. Through the process of therapy, we will explore what has been working for you and what has not. It is my belief and practice to treat the person, not the symptoms or the problem. We will work on building and adding to the skills you already possess to help you to build a more fulfilling life. An integral part of this process is assisting you in an increased understanding and awareness of yourself. Personal growth involves seeing and making informed choices. Therein lies the importance of self-awareness - there is no choice where there is no awareness. Raising a level of self-awareness increases your ability to have and make choices. Through exploration of these factors and possibly more, we will work toward a resolution that works for you and one that allows you to live a fuller and happier life.

Hello and welcome to Grow Therapy. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have worked in the mental health field since 1998. First, with my bachelors degree and later doing clinical work after earning my master's degree. I believe taking care of our mental health should be as accepted and routine as taking care of our physical health. Therapy can help us to be the best versions of ourselves. Life is a beautiful mess. Sometimes everything seems to be going our way. And other times, it can leave us feeling overwhelmed, confused, and off balance. I would like to offer guidance and support as you navigate those ups and downs.

I am a licensed therapist with 8 years experience supporting individuals with navigating the day-to-day and life transitions in the midst of experiencing anxiety, depression, and other challenges. I utilize talk therapy and operate from a person-centered approach to help form a trusting relationship where you feel safe and comfortable opening up. I like to consider my approach to therapy eclectic. Each person has different needs and what works for one does not work for all. I like to be creative with each of my clients and find the treatment modality that will work best for them and their situation. I personally have struggled with my own anxiety and panic attacks since I was a child. This is what led me to want to be a therapist to help others.

Hi, I’m Erica, a therapist in the Philadelphia area who believes healing is rarely neat, linear, or Instagram-perfect. My approach blends evidence-based tools with an honest appreciation for how complicated, funny, painful, and beautiful being human can be. My approach combines evidence based tools with curiosity, compassion, humor, and a genuine interest in understanding what makes you, well, you. I work with people who want to understand themselves better, break patterns that are no longer serving them, work through difficult experiences, or simply feel a little more comfortable in their own lives. I want therapy to feel like a place where you can be honest. You don’t have to have the right words, know exactly what you need, or come in with everything figured out. You can show up messy, overwhelmed, frustrated, guarded, or completely unsure of where to start. We can figure it out together. As someone who lives with a disability, I also know that resilience is a word that gets thrown around pretty casually. I understand what it means to build a life around limitations you didn’t choose while still wanting a life that feels full, meaningful, and genuinely yours. I bring that lived experience into my work, not because I think it means I understand everyone’s experience, but because I know what it feels like to keep going when things are heavy. At the end of the day, I’m a therapist, but I’m also a real person. I won’t pretend to have all the answers or expect you to have yours. My job is to meet you where you are, help you understand what’s happening underneath the surface, and give you some tools to make things feel a little more manageable.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (PA & WV) with 10 years of experience in outpatient mental health. I specialize in supporting individuals — both adolescents and adults — navigating the aftermath of trauma, loss, adoption/foster care challenges, grief, anxiety, and depression. With children and teens, I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF‑CBT), integrating trauma‑informed strategies tailored to younger clients. With adults, I use trauma-informed interventions alongside cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), adapting my approach to each person’s unique story, strengths, and pace. Hi All, My name is Linda, and I have a deep passion for helping folks grow to the heights they want to achieve. I have been a therapist for years, and have spent a great deal of time helping those who have experienced trauma. I love working with people and have a special place in my heart for the Arts and Music. For many years I owned a woodcraft and ceramic business and continue to keep crafts close to me. I also love music and love to play the organ, piano, and guitar. I was a non-traditional student and received my bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology in 1996 from East Stroudsburg University, then raised my own three children for a while. I returned to school and completed my master's degree in Social Work in 2020 from Capella University. I currently hold an LCSW in PA. I have taken many additional trainings in Trauma-informed counseling, DBT, EMDR, and of course crafts/painting. Helping folks care for themselves is extremely important in life’s struggles, and sharing the heart's desires helps us all navigate the world. It is with great anticipation that I get to know the uniqueness of you in a holistic environment where we can work on reaching the heights of your passion. I hope all my folks find me supportive and comforting on their journey in life. We can do this! See you soon!

Each of us lives our story in chapters—some filled with joy, others with hardship, and many with the quiet in-betweens. As a therapist, I see my role as walking alongside people as they turn the page, helping them make meaning of the past while creating space for new beginnings. I believe we all hold the keys within us: keys to resilience, healing, growth, and self-understanding. I utilize a strength-based approach to treatment as well as incorporate various styles that suit your needs. My practice is grounded in creating a safe and supportive environment to create a healthier future while honoring the past.

Hi! Since 1991, I have worked with individuals across outpatient and inpatient settings, in homes and schools, and now through telehealth. I have assisted people with a variety of challenges--whether related to depression, anxiety and stress, panic, obsessions and compulsions, trauma. behavioral control, self-esteem, substance use, life transition, and other issues. I believe in "possibilities thinking", goal setting, active strategizing, and frequent accounting of progress. As a long-term therapist, therapist and program supervisor, and college psychology professor, I am well acquainted with many therapeutic approaches; however, I am somewhat partial to cognitive-behavioral therapy, relaxation and mindfulness, and solution-focused treatment. I am also formally EMDR-trained, which can be a very helpful tool for trauma. There are many therapy options and providers--whomever you select, I wish you the best. Remember--it’s your life, your journey … make the most of it! Sincerely, Rick NOTE: My current availability will typically be on Sunday mornings, select weekday evenings at 7 or 8 pm, various times on Fridays, and also per arrangement. NOTE: I am accepting ONLY adults, ages 18 to 64 years. NOTE: I am offering only 1:1/individual therapy (no direct family or couples' sessions). NOTE: I do not engage in any court-ordered treatment. NOTE: I am interested in conducting therapy, not doing work-mandated, IEP, or other (e.g., Disability, Drug & Alcohol, or Mental Competency) evaluations. NOTE: Though an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor, I am not a Licensed Psychologist or a Psychiatrist. As such, I cannot conduct psychological testing or prescribe medications.

Have you been feeling overwhelmed lately? Have you been feeling depressed and isolated? Are you struggling with worry and fears? Are you finally ready to take that step and talk with someone? I understand how meeting with a therapist for the first time can feel scary and overwhelming. I work very hard to provide a safe space where clients can feel free to openly talk about what they are struggling with. I have been working with clients for 22 years to help them identify their goals and figure out what they need to move forward and experience a happier, more fulfilling life. My name is Kim Ring and I have had the opportunity to work in many different settings in the mental health field, such as outpatient, inpatient, drug and alcohol rehabs, and home-based work. Because of my vast experience I have worked with many types of clients where I have gained invaluable experience. I have worked with clients struggling with mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, life adjustment issues, grief and loss and parenting issues. I have had clients tell me they like my approach because I am genuine and direct. I believe that in order to help clients we need to put a mirror to them and be honest about what might be holding them back. Sometimes people just need support and someone to help them navigate a difficult time. I look forward to meeting you.

The journey of healing begins with a strong therapeutic alliance based on trust and mutual respect. My worldview and core values determine my approach to therapy and engaging with you. I strongly believe in a holistic approach to therapy: I consider the art and science of healing to support the whole person – body, mind, and spirit. I have decades of rich and varied life experiences which inform my practice. I have worked in schools with children as an educator with a great understanding of human development, I am a grass-roots level community development social worker and a mental health clinician in community behavioral health.

Hello! My name is Kelly Brock and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania and also in Iowa. Maybe you are just feeling stuck, and don't know why? Or maybe you know why, but don't quite understand what tools to use or how to use them to get yourself to that next level up in self-understanding and comfort? I believe finding one's peace in life is a journey of exploration… Sometimes our human side tends to make the exploration in life's journey a tad bit complicated. When we know more about ourselves (and others)... we are just able to navigate life better!

I hold a Master of Arts Degree from Edinboro University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have been in practice for the past eight years in a variety of settings. These settings include working for a hospital at their inpatient hospital-based twelve-step drug and alcohol unit/program. In addition, I have had the oppurtinorty to work in public schools as a school-based counselor covering six schools working with students in grades k-12, Other areas of practice experience include working with individuals, groups, families, couples, children, teens, young adults, adults, and older adults. I am an experienced therapist, licensed in the state of Pennsylvania since 2018. I have a passion for working with people from all different backgrounds, cultures, lifestyles, and ethnicity. I remain open-minded to whatever the client's needs are and tailor therapy techniques and approaches to best fit the client's needs. While meeting with each client, I try to imagine what it must be like to be this person and to experience all of the things they have gone through and are going through. I find myself able to connect with each one of my clients on a personal level to give every individual the same respect, dignity, understanding, empathy, compassion, and time, a person deserves while actively listening to what the client is saying verbally and non-verbally. I am always learning new information, and therapy techniques, and growing my skills while increasing my abilities and knowledge in the mental health field and applying this knowledge to my everyday practice. Each of my clients teaches me something new and in turn, I utilize this knowledge gained to grow both personally, spiritually, and professionally and enrich myself as a therapist. I recognize it takes courage to engage in the process of therapy. I appreciate your motivation and will work respectfully with you to create a positive, collaborative, therapeutic relationship. The focus of my practice is helping people to overcome and understand issues that impact their quality of life. I feel it is essential to understand the person as a whole by having a clear picture including mind, body, and spirit, to start the healing process to grow. I provide a safe judgment-free space where my clients can feel comfortable discussing the issues they wish to resolve or find difficult to deal with. I have found the process of developing a therapeutic relationship to be profound and fundamentally important to facilitating growth and change. I am ready to assist you in these stages of change and help you to reach your goals. I am looking forward to joining you on your journey! Congratulations on deciding to take the first step in the exploration of and investment in yourself! *
