In my free-time, I am enjoy spending time with my family. During this time, we like to do things outdoors, such as playing pickleball, hiking, paddleboarding, or just relaxing.
I can help find relief and lasting change. This begins with the very useful concept of two simultaneous paths when struggling in life...

2- How clients COPE in effective healthy ways?
Addressing and coping are central in my work, and clients find this CBT approach to be highly valuable and effective.

Hi there! I’m Sarah :) Congratulations at taking the first step in reaching out to a counselor. I can understand how difficult it can be for some to make that decision. It can be hard to admit when someone feels like they need additional help in their lives to get things moving in a positive direction. It's important to recognize that this is not a flaw, and that teamwork is sometimes the best solution for an issue. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is very important and that you need to feel comfortable with someone to open up and trust. I would be honored to be a part of your journey to help you find your desired goals.
As a working professional myself, I know how difficult it can be to find a physical or mental health provider that works "after hours." I aim to meet you where you are, and sometimes that means after work, after class, or after the kids are in bed! I offer sessions from 6:00pm to 10:00pm in order to best assist with tackling the demands of your busy day.

I feel deeply connected to the community I grew up in and remain committed to serving clients in Pennsylvania. I began my undergraduate studies at William Paterson University of New Jersey, where I played Division III soccer. Balancing academics, athletics, and life responsibilities gave me firsthand insight into the challenges young adults face, furthering my interest in mental health. After graduation, my work in drug and alcohol counseling revealed the impact of trauma and inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in Community and Trauma Counseling at Jefferson University–East Falls. Shortly after graduating from Jefferson, I became a licensed professional counselor which is one of my most proudest achievements.
I'm Ben Northrup, a licensed professional counselor with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with strength and self-compassion. I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Lock Haven University and have worked in a range of clinical settings—including group homes, partial hospitalization programs, women’s centers, and community-based mental health. These experiences have shaped my client-centered, practical, and empathetic approach to therapy.
Therapy sessions with me tend to feel more casual in nature and use everyday language (no psychological jargon). While therapy is a serious matter and we will talk about serious subjects, it should never be a time that either of us dread. I believe in taking time to learn about, or help you discover, hobbies and parts of life that you enjoy. I take time to help you develop more personalized coping skills and problem solve using your strengths. So, whether you're feeling overwhelmed, seeking tools to manage emotions, or navigating complex mental health challenges, I'm here to support you in creating meaningful, lasting change.
Hi! My name is Jessica and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. Do you feel like you don’t have enough time to take care of yourself? Are you giving so much to others that there’s no time left for you? Are some of these relationships one-sided and go against your personal boundaries?
I have a passion for helping individuals identify and shift patterns that no longer serve them, heal from toxic relationships, and explore their true identity.
A safe and nurturing space is what I strive to cultivate for my clients. In my opinion, this must come first in order to set the foundation for a successful therapeutic experience. I’m so excited to start working with you!
I work from a humanistic approach and believe in being holistic and pulling from a variety of counseling theories and techniques to meet clients where they are at. I work with children and adults from diverse backgrounds and with a range of concerns. I combine experience with education to provide a realistic approach to counseling by empowering individuals in their journey and help them meet their full potential. While I am grounded in a humanistic, person-centered approach, I believe that no one person is the same and that having an eclectic approach to helping others is important.

I bring a compassionate, integrative, and culturally responsive approach that meets each client where they are, helping you build meaningful coping skills, deepen self-understanding, and move toward sustainable change.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Bradley Peters. I am a transplanted Canadian, who has been living in Pennsylvania since 2001, just before 9/11. I have been a therapeutic specialist in the field for over 17 years.
Reaching out to a professional can be daunting, but once you do, having that support and learning tools to help change those painful feelings becomes invaluable. My practice is small, isolated and private. I serve adolescents and adults 14 and up.
Currently, I am only seeing clients through telehealth, but I am hoping this does not dissuade you. Telehealth may sound impersonal, but in reality, it can be a very convenient, safe and secure way to communicate issues, and I have yet to have any difficulties establishing strong relationships through this medium.
I have worked in the treatment since i was 36 and have 35 years of experience. My early experience was in the drug and alcohol and relapse prevention field. During that time i attended the Gestalt Institute in Cleveland, Ohio where I took 4 years of intense training. This lead me to find that therapy is not a method for me to figure out the client but a means for the client to gain greater self-awareness in facing their own life aspirations and struggles. I place focus on clients’ somatic awareness, especially breath, so being more in their body so they can try on new physical and intellectual styles in facing their world. I have a lot of knowledge about what is called the 12 step process and have melded together spirituality and religion in my own life. Prior to being a counselor/ therapist i taught school, painted steel bridges and other structures, and was a machinist at a large steel company, that like the many in our area have since closed their shops.

I am a therapist dedicated to helping individuals and families create meaningful, lasting change—especially during some of the most challenging and complex moments in their lives. My work is rooted in the belief that behavior makes sense when we understand the experiences behind it, and that real progress comes from addressing both the “why” and the “how” of change.
I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and families who are navigating trauma, behavioral concerns, and system involvement. Many of the clients I serve have experienced disruptions in attachment, high-stress environments, or significant life events that continue to impact their relationships, emotional well-being, and decision-making.
My approach is structured, active, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including attachment-based therapy, trauma-informed care, EMDR, and DBT. I focus on helping clients build insight into their patterns while also developing practical skills they can use in everyday life. I believe therapy should not only be a place to process experiences, but also a space to build tools, accountability, and confidence.
I work to create a therapeutic environment that is consistent, supportive, and honest. I balance compassion with clear expectations, helping clients feel understood while also challenging them to grow. Whether I am working with an individual or an entire family system, my goal is to strengthen relationships, improve emotional regulation, and support long-term stability.

I have worked with people of all ages, from young to old, children to teens, and adults. While I truly welcome anyone who feels called to this work, my heart lives within the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities. These are spaces I care about deeply, and I am committed to showing up for them in a way that is affirming, informed, and genuinely celebratory of who you are, not just tolerant of it. If you've spent time in therapy feeling like you had to explain yourself, educate your therapist, or shrink parts of your identity to be understood, that's not the experience you'll find here. Whoever you are, wherever you're coming from, you belong here.
My roles have included case management, management, and professional counseling. The numerous professional opportunities I have experienced with various populations has allowed me to find a place to dedicate myself to a career of serving exceptional individuals and working with numerous health care providers in the community.
My approach is holistic and refers to the whole-person rather than focusing on specific ailments, although topic specific symptoms will also be addressed and discussed as necessary.
