My work as a clinician is grounded in compassion and a deeply person-centered approach. I believe healing happens when people feel genuinely understood and accepted, so I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow at their own pace.
When working with children, I primarily use mindfulness-based play therapy. Play allows children to express emotions, explore relationships, and process challenges in a developmentally appropriate way. By integrating mindfulness, I help children build awareness, regulate emotions, and develop self-compassion—supporting emotional resilience and a stronger connection to themselves.
While most sessions focus on the child, I incorporate family therapy when it meaningfully supports progress. These sessions help strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and create more supportive home environments.
I also draw from contextual therapy, considering each child within the broader systems and relationships that shape their experiences. This perspective allows me to support families in building healthier, more balanced connections.
Across all modalities, compassion remains at the heart of my work. I aim to create a warm, respectful environment that honors each child’s story and supports meaningful, lasting growth.
At this time, therapy services for children under the age of 15 are offered in person only. Telehealth may be available for older clients when appropriate.

Nicholas started his career in human services at Northeast Treatment Centers in Philadelphia, PA where, over the course of 7 years, he worked as Youth Advocate for adjudicated adolescents, lead clinician for a community-based treatment team and outpatient therapist. After becoming a licensed psychotherapist in 2014, Nicholas worked as an outpatient therapist for multiple companies in the Philadelphia area where he helped clients manage or overcome symptoms related to anxiety, stress, trauma, depression and more.
Nicholas’ therapeutic approach is strongly rooted in humanistic psychology. As described in an article from the Association for Humanistic Psychology, this approach offers a "crucial opportunity to lead our troubled culture back to its own healthy path. More than any other therapy, Humanistic-Existential therapy models democracy. It imposes ideologies of others upon the client less than other therapeutic practices. Freedom to choose is maximized. We validate our client's human potential." Nicholas’ approach is also influenced by Buddhist and evolutionary psychology, which give insight into why our minds can work against us and what to do about it.
Hi there, I'm Kirsten!
Do you miss being in control of your emotions? Do you struggle with racing thoughts, a lack of motivation, or low self-confidence? Ready to make yourself a priority again? I am here to help! As a Licensed therapist (LPC) certified in dialectical behavior therapy (C-DBT) and specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma, I can help you get back into the driver's seat of your emotional roller coaster called life.
In addition, with my knowledge and experience of using the trauma recovery and empowerment model (TREM), I will be able to help you work through past experiences that are still a struggle today. I want to provide a safe space for you to be your most authentic self. Life can be hard, but you don't have to go through it alone.
I love mixing different types of therapy tools including mindfulness, psychoeducation, journaling techniques and much more! Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, self-confidence or life in general I will be able to provide evidence-based techniques for you to become the best version of yourself.
Clients my training and background would most benefit are those experiencing difficulty in their relationships with their children, parents, spouses, co-workers or other significant people in their lives; those whose anxiety or depression is holding them back, and those who are willing to work to reach their true potential.
I earned my MSW from the University of Illinois at Chicago concentrating in mental health and have helped people in complicated and difficult situations ever since.
I am a licensed professional counselor with over 12 years of clinical experience and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. My work is grounded in existential therapy, with a particular focus on supporting LGBTQ+ individuals as they navigate identity, meaning, grief, and life transitions. I believe deeply in the capacity for LGBTQ+ people not just to survive, but to thrive, and my passion lies in walking alongside clients as they explore what a more authentic and fulfilling life can look like for them.
My approach is thoughtful, reflective, and relational. Rather than positioning myself as an expert with answers, I join clients as a fellow traveler. I approach each encounter as curious, present, and attuned, creating space for exploration, understanding, and self-compassion.
I am a naturally inquisitive person who is here to build a warm and safe space for clients to be authentically themselves. I enjoy working with clients who have a desire to gain insight into themselves, grow self-compassion, learn functional coping skills, and build healthy boundaries. I offer client-centered, humanistic, queer-affirming, and culturally sensitive treatment. I also come from a scientific background and utilize this knowledge to give insight.
Hello! My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can process your experiences, deepen your understanding of yourself, and explore areas where healing is needed. I take a person-centered approach, meaning you lead the way in your journey while I follow—offering guidance, support, and tools as needed. I offer EMDR, IFS, CBT, and other modalities, tailoring our work to what feels most helpful and empowering for you.
I also place a strong emphasis on connecting the mind and body, as many of us experience a disconnect between the two. For those who are interested, I incorporate elements of energy therapy—drawing on yogic principles, Usui Reiki, and other approaches—to support your healing process.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds and experiences, and I offer specific support for those seeking culturally sensitive therapy, honoring your unique story and identity throughout our work together.

I started this career after raising my children so I have the advantage of wisdom. Life has not always been kind to me but this allows me to relate to so many clients. I have been through much adversity and I feel the most fulfilled when I am helping others. I am kind, non judgmental, and follow Carl Roger's unconditional positive regard.

I’m a therapist who believes mental health care should feel approachable, supportive, and grounded in genuine human connection. My style is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I aim to create a space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and explore challenges without pressure or pretense. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you, but about helping you better understand yourself, your experiences, and your patterns.
A balance of empathy and practicality shapes my clinical work. I integrate evidence-based techniques with authentic, real conversations. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, relationship challenges, or life transitions, we work together to build insight, coping skills, and emotional resilience.
In addition to my therapy work, I also work as an ICU nurse, which has deeply influenced my perspective on stress, trauma, and the complexity of being human. That experience allows me to bring a grounded, compassionate, and realistic understanding of life’s pressures into the therapy room.
Outside of work, I value quiet, restorative time. I enjoy working out, staying active, and taking care of my own well-being. I love spending time at home with my husband and our pets, and I’m a big fan of unwinding with a good movie. I believe balance, connection, and moments of calm are essential — not just luxuries — and I often help clients explore how to build more of that into their own lives.

these principles into my work with clients to support balance and self-awareness.

I have 32 years of experience providing counseling. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, stressing that what we think determines what we feel and what we do. For many reasons, people learn unrealistic or destructive thoughts that cause them problems in their lives. Therapy works towards more realistic thinking, and avoiding old and destructive thinking. As I like to say, "therapy is a conversation with a destination," and realistic thinking is that destination.
While I am a Christian, I am not trained as a Christian Counselor. I am a "Counselor who is a Christian." My training is secular, and I regularly see people or all faiths, or none at all. I do not offer court ordered services, nor do I do assessments for custody, or any other legal purpose. Unfortunately, I cannot accept Medicare, or Medicare based plans.
The world is changing, and more and more people are reaching out. I am seeing more men that have been in abusive relationships. There are also more people dealing with loss. Coming to my office is not like going to a big mental health clinic where you just another number on a spreadsheet. In my care, you are a person, and you'll be treated like one.

I am the mother to 2 grown children and a grandmother. I was married for over 40 years prior to my husband passing, I now share my house with a Golden Retriever.
I went back to school later in life, and like to encourage others to do the same if possible.
My first experience in this field came when I got a job at a county mental health/developmental services program as a receptionist. I was motivated by all the great work that the caseworkers were doing to improve their clients lives. I went back to school to finish my Bachelors and finally received a Masters in Social work. I retired from the county program as a Casework Supervisor, I felt that my position was becoming more administrative, and I was missing the connections I had made with my clients.
At that time I felt it was time to work on what my original goal was which was to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I did work for 5 years with children with behavioral issues in school and in their homes.
My previous position was in a small practice in rural PA, where I learned the importance of being eclectic in my treatment approach because every clent and their situation is different , and they deserve to have a treatment plan specifically targeted to their situation

"Welcome. I'm Jeanette DeSilva, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with 16 years dedicated to walking alongside individuals on their journey to lasting freedom from issues such as anxiety and depression, destructive behaviors and addiction or those who are just wanting help developing a deeper spiritual life and rebuild their relationship with God.
In our work together, I integrate the evidence-based principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). The core idea of CBT is that our thoughts significantly influence our feelings and behaviors. Together we'll work collaboratively to identify and re-frame unhelpful thought patterns, belief systems and behaviors that contribute to mental health struggles, poor self-image, relationship issues, grief and loss and destructive behaviors like unhealthy coping.
My goal is to equip you with practical and therapeutic skills and strategies to navigate the challenges of mental health disturbances, addiction issues or just difficult life struggles you may currently be facing. If spirituality is an important aspect of your life and you are wanting it a part of your therapeutic process, as a Christian Counselor I am skilled in utilizing biblical principles such as scripture, prayer and meditation into proven therapeutic approaches to help in building a strong arsenal to overcome and resolve life's challenges and walk in complete healing and freedom. Science and faith can truly work together.
We will focus on:
Addressing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and interpersonal/relational conflict resolution. I am also extensively experienced in substance abuse and addictions.
Identifying and Resolving Destructive Behaviors: Addressing any unwanted behaviors such as substance abuse, self-medicating behaviors or just cycles and patterns of critical inner dialogue and destructive core beliefs blocking your growth.
You are not alone in this struggle. I offer a non-judgmental, empathetic space where we can work together to help you achieve lasting emotional/mental change.
Life can feel overwhelming when your relationships are strained, or your emotions feel like they’re in the driver’s seat. Whether you’re navigating the heavy echoes of trauma—such as sexual abuse or medical hurdles—or find yourself retreating into video games, pornography, or substances to cope, you don’t have to carry that weight alone. Together, we’ll move beyond just 'getting by.' We will set practical goals to dismantle the obstacles in your way, helping you regain control and build a life that feels authentic and grounded.
I use a person-centered approach and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills to support you in addressing your concerns and achieving your goals. My experience includes helping clients process trauma and navigate other life challenges. Combining these methods can be effective for trauma recovery and broader personal growth.
Throughout our collaboration, we will emphasize the validation of emotions and the process of engaging with and understanding difficult feelings. Although this process may occasionally feel overwhelming, through active listening and compassion, we will strive together to achieve your treatment plan goals.
Fulfilling our potential is a lifelong journey of becoming more at peace with ourselves, deepening the intimacy in our relationships, being more authentically human, and feeling more alive each day. Along the way, certain challenges arise to cause us distress or confusion. Such moments can make us feel held back, afraid, or unsure of where to go from here. But these moments can also be the points of growth and healing from which we renew ourselves in ways we did not think possible.
It is a great privilege helping men and women in their search to improve their relationship with themselves and others, to lessen the burden of emotional pain, to experience freedom from addictions, or to embark on new life challenges - to find the hope and courage needed to take those important next steps.
I'm an existential-humanistic therapist with 30+ years of experience. I use a variety of psychotherapeutic approaches and multiple techniques. Hello, my name is Benjamin Magliocca and my vocation is to serve my community as a mental health counselor. Even at its best, life is complex and at times it can seem impossible to manage. In my therapy, my intent is to walk beside you in all of these times, and help you navigate the challenges your life presents. We will start by creating a solid and connected relationship as a foundation. This relationship will allow us to recognize your strengths and use them to promote positive solutions and change in your life. My aim is to measure, reflect, and celebrate this positive change to empower you and motivate you to set goals and continue a cycle of betterment.
I’ve been working with individuals for nearly 20 years, and if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s this: none of us are meant to do this alone.
Sitting one-on-one with someone as they untangle their story is work I don’t take lightly. It’s an honor. Over the years, I’ve supported people through burnout, transitions, grief, relationship shifts, identity questions, and those quieter seasons where you just know something needs to change, even if you can’t name it yet.
I also have advanced training in trauma and ADHD, which means I understand how deeply our nervous systems, past experiences, and unique wiring shape the way we move through the world. Whether you’re navigating the impact of trauma or trying to make sense of an ADHD brain in a world that doesn’t always accommodate it, we’ll approach your work with both compassion and practical insight.
Individual therapy is powerful. There is something sacred about having a space that is entirely yours — where you don’t have to perform, hold it together, or take care of anyone else. I also believe people need people and that is why I lead women's groups and retreats as well.
At the heart of my work is the belief that we’re all just trying to get home — home to ourselves. Home to steadiness, clarity, belonging, and alignment. My role is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with that place inside you that already knows the way.
Whether you’re navigating new adulthood, freshly single, or seeking a new adventure, we can collaborate to help you overcome the challenges of embracing your new identity. I’m Kaylyn, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania with almost 10 years experience in the mental health field.
In our therapy room, you can expect transparency and for us to be on equal ground. You’re the expert of your life–I’m here to provide support and present new solutions for the obstacles you encounter. I love watching my clients become proud of who they’ve become through our work together.
Hello,
Please know that I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental environment for you where you will find your voice and tell your story, for which you are the expert. I hold an LCSW license in Pennsylvania, a Master of Divinity, and a Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling. I have 11 years of experience in the field, holding a diverse range of positions, including Hospice and grief. I strive to be a well-rounded practitioner who can meet my clients' needs to live a holistic life of wellness and gratitude.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need someone to talk to about what’s going on, I’m here for you. Whether it's letting go of past struggles, managing stress, or figuring out how to navigate a tough time, we can work together to make sense of it all.
My approach is interactive, collaboration and compassion. We’ll work at your pace to uncover patterns, explore new perspectives, and develop strategies that align with your values and vision for the future. I’m here to help you find a way through.

Hi, I'm Wendy.
Do you find yourself wondering if your relationship is healthy? Do you feel overwhelmed by daily tasks and have trouble remembering the last time things felt 'normal?'
Together, we'll explore the challenges that have gotten in the way of you living your best quality of life and getting the relationships with others that you deserve. I use an eclectic approach that starts with coaching and coping skills and reaches into the deeper issues that cause fear, loneliness, and frustration by combining interpersonal effectiveness, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral methodologies with insight driven approaches such as relational therapy and trauma focused perspectives as needed.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with
Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. I have worked with individuals in relational and traumatic crises for over fifteen years. I use humor, optimism, compassion, and honesty to ease the awkwardness of therapy and guide people to embrace their worth, freeing them to find what they seek in others.
I am a licensed clinician in Pennsylvania with over five years of professional experience supporting individuals and families. I work with clients navigating stress and anxiety, pregnancy and birth experiences, infant mental health, family conflict, parenting challenges, and concerns related to motivation, self-esteem, and confidence.
I believe you are the expert on your own story and that you already possess many of the strengths needed to help you overcome life’s challenges. Taking the first step toward a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage, and I am here to walk alongside you and support you throughout your journey.
