I support individuals navigating depression, anxiety, and difficulty managing their moods. Moms holding families together, adult children caring for aging parents, first responders, teachers supporting everyone else’s children, and caregivers who are used to being the strong one for everyone else. I also support women navigating life transitions who may feel overwhelmed, burned out, unsure of their next steps, or simply feeling lost. And yes, I give “homework” between sessions so growth continues outside our time together. I teach practical coping tools along with strength-focused strategies so you can stop just surviving and start thriving. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience and a certified grief counselor supporting individuals through loss, complicated grief, and major life transitions. I accept Aetna and several other major insurance plans in Pennsylvania, as well as self-pay. Virtual sessions are available to make therapy accessible for busy schedules.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session is a chance to slow down and talk through what’s been weighing on you. We’ll focus on what brought you in, what feels most important right now, and what you’d like to work toward. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of direction and, simple tools to start feeling more supported right away.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Sessions are collaborative and interactive, focused on meaningful progress not just talking about the problem. My work focuses on building confidence, strengthening boundaries, improving communication, and helping you respond rather than react so you can feel calmer and more grounded in daily life.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I integrate DBT techniques such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness into sessions in a practical, supportive way. My approach focuses on helping clients apply these skills in real-life situations so they can feel more grounded, in control, and confident between sessions.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In CBT, we focus on recognizing and building patterns of thoughts and behaviors. Together, we learn strategies to shift unhelpful thinking, strengthen coping skills, and create habits that support your goals for personal growth.
Grief Therapy
I help clients honor and process their loss, while discovering their inner strengths. Together, we explore ways to find meaning, build resilience, and build a path toward renewed hope and empowerment.
Strength-Based
Together, we identify your strengths and amplify them so you can navigate life's challenges with confidence and create meaningful change.
Trauma Informed Care
I use a trauma-informed approach that centers safety and empowerment. We gently explore how past experiences affect you today while helping you feel supported and in control as you heal.
